Thank you all! It's been a lovely weekend. What I was busy with this morning was our choir was sponsoring coffee hour after church in honor of a wonderful couple who used to sing with the choir who celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Friday. I was coordinating that. Then, at 3 this afternoon, two of our section leader gave a vocal recital and I was in charge of that reception, too. A great day with music and good folks! I had my birthday dinner last night. I decided not to have a big party this year. Just my mom, some very close friends and me to dinner at my favorite Mexican restaurant and then home for cake and presents. Thank you all for being a big part of my life! I love you, Legion World!!!

Actually, I did. I had four days off from work. The big party was on Saturday night. I rented a room at a karaoke bar. My mom was one of the guests and I got to sing a couple songs just for her. Fun was had by all. On Sunday, I co-sponsored coffee hour at church with some friends who have birthdays/anniversaries in the same week. On Monday, my actual birthday, I went to dinner with my mom and my two best friends at my favorite Mexican place. Thanks again, everyone, for all your good wishes!
