Scary visit to the vet tonight (a torn ACL)...

Unfortunately, no. The vet said that because Pippin's a smaller dog, he doesn't recommend surgery yet. We've got to keep him off his leg for a month and see if it heals on its own, before we bring him back. So, basically, 30 days of babying him.

That is to say, more so than usual.

Ohhhh poor baby pippin! He doesn't look too unhappy to be carried around though. Good thing he has great parents

Here are some recent photos. The black one is from "Fools and Lovers" a Shakespeare event I was in and the other was my make-up final (glad I passed that class).

So a certain gay friend of mine saw my window open, saw this pic, and asked who my hot older friend was. True story!

Older? Well... I guess he is 84 in dog years. Anyway, his name is Pippin, and he's actually not hot in that pic... he was just panting because he was nervous.

My friend was asking if Pippin's open to dating. He has an adorable female shih tzu who'd love to meet a big strong dog like Pippin!

While Mrs. Nihil is dealing quite well with all of Ex-s road trips, she'd be a very patient lady indeed is she let Pippin cross the ocean for a date.

Although my friend's dog would be even more impressed if Pippin made the trip without getting frightened!

Someone should introduce your friend's dog to Krypto. Strong AND no travel issues.

I just hope Krypto would still let her (my friend's dog) have fun chasing cats, and not take care of all of them himself.
