All I know is, even Steve Engelhart couldn't find a way to make Tigra work, and he was the first male comic book writer to write three-dimensional super-heroines.

I'm not overly familiar with Marvel characters (excluding ROM) but all I can remember of Tigra was the "bouncing bikini babe" version.

Englehart had the Scarlet Witch save the universe -- three times!

During the filming of Fight Club, Brad Pitt chipped his tooth , but waited to have it capped until after filming because he felt it added to his character.

good to hear Dev
Egyptian pharaohs were considered children of Ra (Egyptian sun god) and, thus, their dreams were seen as being divine.

Neither side of my family's ever been big on exploring where their ancestors came from. So I have no idea if I'm Irish, English, Portuguese, Lithuanian or whatever. I guess we're just certified redneck.
Still "Lardy" to my friends!

I'm just about almost entirely Irish-American with just a little bit of Native American, Spanish and WASP. But its so little that I basically just think of myself as Irish-American. My family is very big on keeping in touch with our Irish heritage.
And today, I got to go to the NYC St. Patrick's Day parade, which was great!

My uncle's wife is Irish-American, and she is one of the coolest women in the world.
Happy St. Patrick's Day.

The token straight guy in the choir I sing with is the countertenor.
The only character in all of literature who has been described as "badnass" while using the phrase "vile miscreant."

One of the first chest-revealing swimsuits for men appeared in 1932 and was called the “Topper.” The suit had a detachable top that could be zipped away from the trunk bottoms. Unfortunately, men who chose to appear topless at the time were often arrested for indecent exposure.

Went to a Breaking Benjamin / Three Days Grace concert, like, two months ago, and I still wake up with their music in my head.

Well, I was in chorus/show choir in high school and college, and there were plenty of straight dudes. All of the ones I know still verify as straight via Facebook years later!

I think there is a stereotype, but, like any stereotype, it often is not true.

I like baseball but it takes me a good three months to get into it every year. I don't give a crap about spring training and I don't even want to know whose on the Yankees roster until 20+ games are played. The season is just way too long. I'm still watching Hockey and college basketball, I'm not ready to deal with baseball fans, who all act like they know every statistic known to man (and those statistics actually matter) and think they are the greatest businessmen since Warren Buffet.
I also get infuriated when I hear this line: "He should be able to ___, I mean, they're paying him enough!". Bah. The guy is playing a game he loves. We're the idiots who think paying them that much is worthwhile.
