Temperate climates are overrated. I've already seen moths, ants, AND fleas on the move around here in the last two weeks.

I've always hated all brands of raisin bran, with those gummy sugary raisins. So I bought plain bran flakes and added a light dusting of powdered cinnamon -- delicious and nutritious.

I'm going to an Oscar party in a little bit where all the guests are gay men and most are in some way involved with classical music. It's an interesting group.

I just thought of something.
Now, I don't have anything against Rob Liefeld personally. I'm sure he's a pleasant human being. And I understand why his art is so awful.
But, what if they did a comic where the people with Liefeld's anatomy where actually SUFFERING from the way they've been drawn? Like "Oh God! My arms! They're like drumsticks!"

The evil corporate drones, doubtless dressed as Ronald McDonald, argued in a court in Leeuwarden that she had broken the rules on giving free gifts to family, friends or collegues, report the BBC.
The court responded that a written warning would have been enough and ordered McDonald's to pay her $5900 for five months of her contract. In a triumph of comedic stating-the-obvious, they said: 'the dismissal was too severe a measure. It is just a slice of cheese.'

For the same reason that you never see Harvey Kurtzman's women weeping in pain because of their gargantuan chests and weird origami-folded ankles. "Classic" comics are full of anatomy failure on a cosmic scale. Nothing new there. I still snicker every time I think of Alison Bechdel calling the typical Kurtzman females "mudflaps." Apparently a bunch of guys like Spiegelman and such were livid at her for "denigrating" Teh Master Cartoonist in this fashion. Ppppphhhht! They can dish it out, but they can't take it.

Spoilers: I realized a couple of days ago that not one , but two movie endings that I've enjoyed were ambiguous endings of movies beginning with "B," involving a French woman, an American man named, "Jesse," and spontaneous dancing to a famous piano player. That is just a Jeopardy category waiting to happen.

There are 19 threads on the MMB that contain the word "Rocky" that date from before my Legion World debut on August 6, 2005. The earliest use of that word to refer to me was five days later in the "Introduce yourself" thread by Mystic Luna.

I keep a big-a** jar of homemade sugar syrup (aka "simple syrup") in the fridge just so I can indulge in this on a semi-regular basis.
