My hometown area remains in shambles since the ce storm several days ago. we're relatively unscathed up here, and most of the snow (from the same storm system) has melted.

Today is George Lindsey's birthday. He's 73. Maybe you know him better as "Goober" from "The Andy Griffith Show."

Tonight I woke up for the first time in several days after a good night sleep. The puppy isn't crying all night! Yay! Only a few times each night but my calming voice telling him "its okay I'm here" seems to help. Luckily I perfected that voice on female freshmen at UCONN
