The other night, after having two margaritas with dinner, I had a bizarre dream. In the universe where this dream took place, the Archbishop of Canterbury (and it was the current archbishop, Rowan Williams) had written a novel which had been turned into an opera in which my friend Zach, who has a gorgeous tenor voice, had starred. This is background info and did not actually take place in the dream. In the dream itself, after choir rehearsal--which was held in a supermarket--Zach and another friend, Andrea, and I all decided to go out for breakfast (very odd since the choir we're all in rehearses in the evening). While we're waiting for our breakfast order to be filled, the archbishop comes in with copies of the novel on which the aforementioned opera was based, which he autographs. He apparently really liked Zach in the lead role, because he wrote on my copy "I Z" (that is a big heart to represent "love"). The archbishop, being Welsh, would, of course, pronounce "Z" as "zed", so it sorta said "I heart zed". A most disturbing dream!
The only character in all of literature who has been described as "badnass" while using the phrase "vile miscreant."

Strangely enough, possums don't like being poked with spoons.

For over one hundred years, a mummy, now believed to be the mummy of Rameses I, was on display at the Niagra Falls Museum.
When I was a kid, we took a family vacation to Niagra Falls. I remember going to this museum, but not of seeing the mummy.

Robert Zimmerman wrote a song about Highway 61, located back in my old stomping grounds of Minnesota.
Following the North Shore of Lake Superior, it runs from Canada through St. Paul (formerly known as Pig's Eye.)
It's a scenic tour, at one point stretching from Thunder Bay down to New Orleans.
Just spouting off.

Goldfish lose their color if they are kept in dim light or are placed in a body of running water, such as a stream.

Tomorrow I'm interviewing four different candidates to be my administrative assistant. I haven't even met one of them yet and I'm already weirded out by the fact that I'm interviewing someone for a job.

In 1956, there was a plan to nuke Alberta to liberate the oil from the tar sands. Seriously.

I have a bubble-gun in the shape of a fish on my desk at work...Its name is "Fishgun" and has travelled through three states. However it is now mounted on a plaque, spray painted gold, and is emblazzoned with the legend : "Dont mess with Texas"
Remember : It's not technically a suckerpunch if you yell ''DEFEND YOURSELF SPROCKER!'' two seconds before you let him have it.

U.S.A. Today has a page about hockey everyday in their sports section, so I've had our office get an ongoing subscription. It was either that or the Daily News and I'm not quite ready to become a Daily News reader just yet
