My brother and I are taking out one of our oldest friends tonight for his birtday, as he never really goes out ever (he had a baby way too early in life). We plan on making it a night to remember.

I almost never watch Saturday Night Live, but a few months ago I caught a rerun on E! of an episode guest-hosted by Scarlett Johnansson, and there was one sketch about a chandelier store run by a rather obsessive family who spoke with thick "Noo Yawk" accents, and Scarlett played the daughter ("...an' dis one, an' dat one, an' dat one, an' dis one...") that still cracks me up every time I think of it.

I had a horrible allergic reaction to onions on Sunday. This allergy has been getting worse these last couple of years, but this one was really bad. To make it worse, I was at the casino for a group trip and had drank alcohol earlier in the afternoon. Its an odd feeling to fight off panic at times like that. In other news I'm better now
