I didn't care for "Avatar", I don't like Troia either.
I do like "Myth"

Myth is very pretty and feminine, actually.

Thanks. Myth is pretty much the only codename that really "fits" Donna considering her history. In my opinion, of course.

I *hate* the code-name Troia! Its just so... nothing! I'm beginning to realise that it was the change to this code-name (as well as all the horrible costumes that she adopted afterward) that probably made Donna drop like a stone out of my Top 10 Titans list.
Myth is pretty good. Avatar is better (and there should be no problem with taking this name now that that horrible L.A.W. mini-series has been thankfully forgotten by the 3 people who read it). But someone on the DC Boards is currently championing the name Victory and I really like that one. That's a helluva lot more inspiring name than Troia.
Donna Troy - Victory!

You know...Victory is probably the best of those I've heard. It really fits her warrior persona.

Victory sounds like a fine choice too.

I do like Victory! If there is anything that embodies Donna, it's victory over ANY obstacle.
I still like Myth, though...

I'm fine with "Troia". But I resist change whenever possible.

The problem with 'Myth' for me is it doesn't sound heroic enough, but your right in saying that it's a great name that suits her.
Victory is good, too, but it sounds a little masculine.
And to show I bear no ill will, I, too, shall bestow a gift...

Well what about Victrix. Which I think (Cobie help me out here) was the term used by Roman Legions after the Goddess of Victory.

"Victoria" would be the most obvious feminization of "Victory".
What about "Titania"?

Nah, Marvel has had two of those. One's a dead member of the Grapplers, the other is the wife of the Absorbing Man who often has a mad-on for She-Hulk.

Any more ideas?
After all, the Didiot/Lee/Johns three-headed monster won't be around forever. And when they're gone, Donna will come back.

Maybe something with the word "Sensation"? As it's a) a synonym for "wonder" and b) has historical relevance for the Wonder family.
Though the only thing I can come up with that sounds halfway decent is Ms. Sensation, which is a bit too much like Ms. Marvel.

Maybe give her magic-based powers and call her the Sensational Sorceress?
I, personally, like Fury the best, but there's already a Fury in the DCnU (who has long dark hair...hmmm...)

I suppose I'm one of the few who thought "Troia" was a decent enough post-Wonder Girl name. I'm hard-pressed to come up with another. The only palatable alternative I can come up with is...."Hope". But Marvel might have a conflict with that one.
Still "Lardy" to my friends!

Funnily enough, "Hope" triggered a free-association with "Destiny", because Destiny Hope Cyrus is the real name of the once-cute/now-obnoxious Miley Cyrus. (I'm so ashamed that I know this celebrity trivia.)
"Destiny" might be a good name for Donna. Marvel's Destiny died so long ago the copyright must have expired by now. It'd also have a possible connection to Doctor Destiny, give Donna some shades of gray.

If she did return, I'd want to transition her at least a little bit away from being a Wonder Woman clone. Nightwing has become more than 'Batman Jr.' and has his own fighting style and 'schtick' and Garth found his own niche and Roy, however briefly, as Arsenal, became something more than 'Color' Arrrow.
I'd prefer Donna not be a 1:1 match up with Diana. Super-strength, flight, amazon bracers and lasso. That's done already. Empowered by a different Greek source, she might have different powers, or a different theme, and still have *been* a Wonder Woman clone, originally.
Connecting her to Nike, the goddess also known as 'winged victory,' could combine flight with preternatural combat skill (and not nearly so much super-human strength as Wonder Woman, or previous incarnations, although still, empowered by godly purpose, stronger and tougher than a human).
I was looking at the names of the original Furies or Erinyes, but they don't feel appropriate for Donna. (Alecto - implacable anger, Megaera - jealousy, Tisiphone - vengeance) Donna, even more than Diana, at times, has seemed like a gentler soul, and I'd rather keep that than have her 'go dark' or 'gritty & realistic' or whatever they call 'turn into an unheroic ass' these days.
I kind of loved how, in the Perez/Wolfman days, she seemed like a gentle soul, with a bit of wisdom that even 'spiritual' Raven sometimes lacked, and yet not innocent or naïve (indeed, in her attempt at marriage and family, perhaps the first to try to 'grow up' and 'have a life' and not sacrifice that side of herself to remain mired in the arrested adolescence of costumed adventuring), and yet she was flat-out the strongest of the Teen Titans, able to crush tanks.

Destiny implies a certain power, though. I was thinking "Beacon", but that implies light powers.

"Destiny" does indeed imply a certain power, a kind of cosmic reality-affecting power that was being hinted at when she first returned in 2005. Then, of course, everything went horribly wrong for the DCU and it was never resolved. I think it'd be a cool jumping-off point for a new incarnation of Donna.

Victroia!
Make her a Roman counterpart to WW, powered by Fortuna, Janus, Minerva, Mercury, Bellona, etc.
Hmmm... Lilith Clay, daughter of Mr. Jupiter. Maybe her entry into the current continuity could invlove rescuing and redeeming the abysmal Omen. Her status as Dick Grayson's best friend was cemented when he unraveled the mystery of her past. Maybe after Forever Evil, she can help him construct a new secret ID.
