And they could have used him as a decoy target. What else is he good for, anyway?
Besides dying in Crisis so that Kole could live... *sob* Marv Wolfman, I want a word with you...

Just think how effective a Kole / Doctor Light team up would be.

I can see the series now...
Arthur & Kole (deceased)
Arthur Light is dead. The trouble is, that it's not the first time. Terrified of DC's afterlife and humiliated in its living world, his scheming mind comes up with a plan. If he keeps coming back from the fiery pits, surely the other side would want someone back to maintain the balance. There's not many takers. But the Olympian pantheon manages to persuade a very reluctant Kole Weathers with the promise that she could have more than the brief years of last time. Meeting Arthur, it's something she'd soon learn to live (and die and live) to regret. With all the arcane horrors that are drawn to Kole, things don't quite go to Arthur's plans either.

I was just about to expound on Phobia, Houngan and Plasmus, before looking them up online and finding out that they were in a completely different group of throw-away Titans villains... Oops!
Hey, how about all those one-hit wonders who were introduced with Cheshire? Spear, Tank, Stiletto, Bazooka, uh, the guy with the flamethrower... Gosh, all named after their favorite weapons. Such originality! No wonder Cheshire was the only one to ever be seen again...

Scorcher wasn't it, but only because Flame Thrower was appearing that night in the local circus.
