I'm not Titan expert, but I do recall that Donna has pretty much always been folicly challenged. She started off pretty cute with that ponytail, but even a Teen Titan has to grow out of that look, which she did. However, just letting your hair get all long doesn't always make it look better, D! She seemed to like keeping her bangs shorter, yet swooped to the side. She also got the wacky idea of cutting those little curled sideburns to show off her star earrings--ugh! I'm sure her hair is just inhumanly thick and difficult to manage. Maybe a braid would have been the best solution? Wacking all the hair off for the Troia look didn't help matters at all. Possibly the worst short style EVER! I recall Jiminez or some other designer giving her more layers, which helped modernize, once the hair was longer again.
The good news is, Donna Troy has always been a doll, so really, bad hair on an adorable girl like her is still okay. Frankly, who cares about the girl's hair with a body and outfit like hers anyway?

Sorry, Dean, but I've *liked* all of Donna's hair-dos except for the super-short Troia one.
I thought her most recent look... with the starfield and the silver boots topped by a nice hair treatment... sort of 'Jennifer Aniston'-ish... was particularly attractive.

I agree, word for word.

We all agree that the layers were good for Donna's hair!
Whenever I've sketched Donna, I tend to give her long hair a bit more curl or wave than what was depicted in the books. OR I'll draw it much sleeker/straighter; nice and shiny. I really like the idea of Donna with her hair bound in some kind of really tight ponytail in the back or a braid like I said before. Then, when she's off duty and all this great shiny black hair is let loose, there's even more impact.
Um...again...Donna's such a poppin' hottie, all this discussion about her hair is really superfluous!

She's cute in every incarnation!
...well, save for the whole short-haired Troia fiasco and that Darkstar nonsense.
