And yes, that 2-page splash brought a very BIG smile to my face...
SPOILERS FOLLOW!
...except for the absence of Bumblebee, which freaked me out because Mal was there...!
But then I turned to the final page, and there she was, YES!
Dr. Light's smug little line on the last page HAS to win my "Best Smartass comment of the Year" award. It was just perfect. Excellent work, Geoff Johns!
And Duela looked wonderful! I dunno what my thing is with chalky-white chicks with purple hair, but I'm thrilled that: A. Her Titans membership has been retconned back in, and B. Her little turn as a nutcase villainess (from the last TITANS series) is apparently over.
I sure missed seeing Donna, Lilith and Magenta in that scene, though. *sigh*

Apparently the main story in the Teen Titans/Outsiders Secret Files that was supposed to come out this week, but got delayed because of the mess that is that 'Return of Donna Troy' mini, is about a serial killer or something targeting ex-Titans!?!?! Or so I've heard. But Geoff Johns has said he wasn't involved in this comic at all so we can't rely on our favourite B-list character loving writer to make sure some of our fave characters get treated with respect! I'm worried!

Maybe the casualties will be some of my less-favorite B-listers, like Mirage or Pantha or Wildebeest.
Or better yet, maybe there won't BE any casualties.

Oh, let's hope so! But I like Mirage, so I hope she's safe. I also like Mal, Bumblebee, Flamebird, Kole, Harlequin, Terra, Damage, Dove and Lilith, and even Argent. I still like the more prominent ones like Donna, Raven, Kory, Gar, Wally and Dick, but not considerably more so than the B-listers.

i'll join the ranks of the b-list lovers. i always wanted lilith to be cool...dos anyone else remember that annual where kevin maguire drew Titans West? awesome. flamebird kicks butt. why didn't robin like her...instead he chose that drag queen starfire:D
kole! kole! kole! c'mon she can turn people into crystal. although jericho never did it for me maybe he was too close to the A list. Bumblebee was cool, terra too.
and francis kana aka magenta. i even liked Tula.
