Can't believe this hasn't been mentioned here yet. When Paul Levitz announced that DC was getting into the animated direct-to-video game he named three stories in the works. One being the already leaked New Frontier by Cooke and another Superman/Doomsday. One would hope that The Great Darkness would be another but Levitz kind of passed that by with some spiel about not being able to sell 'that stuff' as a comic (wtf?). But he kind of made up for it when he said the third adaption would be the Judas Contract with Wolfman and Perez both working on it! My second favorite arc, after Great Darkness, from DC. The story probably is what made Gar one of my most loved characters. I really hope they can do it justice.

I'll definitely be interested in seeing it, but am cautiously optimistic about it. I hope they don't try to update it with newer or more generic versions of the Titans. The reason Judas Contract worked so well was the chemistry those Titans had with each other.

In an interview at Newsarama today Wolfman makes it sound as if they are going to stick as close as possible. And they won't be toning it down for kids. Wolfman went so far as to say that the infamous "nightgown and cigarette" scene will be included.

Not according to Levitz, seemingly.
White. A blank page or canvas. His favorite. So... many... possibilities.

Yay! the Judas Contract (by way of black and white Australian reprints that were popular in the 80's) was my introduction to the greatness of the Titans. cant wait to see this

When this was announced at the SD ComicCon Levitz asked for suggestions from the crowd about stories that should be included in the series. The first suggestion shouted out (BY ME! NATCH!) for a storyline to be included on the list was The Great Darkness. Levitz quickly glanced at Didio and Rucka before he seemingly dismissed the idea by saying he didn't have time to write it.
Curse You, Greg Rucka! Curse You Dan Didio!
Later when I had a chance to talk to Paul privately for a few minutes he expressed his love for the story, as well as his amazement that so many fans still remember it with such love and passion.
I got the impression that he would personally love to do the rewrite of the Great Darkness for the animated direct to video series but the current PTB at DC won't even consider it.

I couldn't pass up The Judas Contract. That's my Golden Age, right there.
It'll be weird to hear speech from these characters, though.

This changes everything.

That's an oxymoron. Nothing about Teen Titans Go compares to the real Titans. The two genres aren't even with comparing, in my opinion.

Absolutely not!! TT GO is not the same thing at all! And I really dislike seeing the Titans "Manga-tised".

Honestly that sounds like the complaints of someone who never gave the series a chance.

Well the Judas Contract is finally OUT...What do people think?
This version features both a nice opening homage to the emergence of the New Teen Titans and then jumps to the Judas Contract... Watching it now - I like how Brother Blood is depicted
