Again, beautiful.

This is SarK's original character, Ebony Dent.
This is her costume, with and without bandana, that she wore when she needed a secret identity, before she was pulled into the time stream and ended up with the Legion:


This is the beautiful drawing she's based on:

Candace I... I don't know what to say.

She's pretty simple color wise, but her eyes are beautiful and I love the bandana around her arm when she's not protecting her identity.

The 7 year old is up next.

That was a nice touch.

Here's Ebony in the Toon version, where she became a 7yr old for a time.
Her mentor and best friend is Garth, here in his Toon version by Future.


SarK wanted her in coveralls and a red T.
I added the belt and bangles which were a part of the original chibis character.

Ahaha! I love it!

I went over the timeline for Ebony with Sark and remembered that Ayla was a child at the same time as Ebony, so I added the blonde versio of her, although I may change her out for a redhead at some point.
I also changed the Garth from Toon to Action, I hope.

Hi, Shady... just wanted to chime in and say what a great job you are doing on these. It's very cool to see some of Sarcasm Kid's original concepts translated to this format.

Here's one from an early story, before Ebony is deaged for awhile.
Scooby Doo shows up and he thinks of Garth (Toon version) as Shaggy.
Fun story:

Garth is Future's, Scooby is from Mystery Inc. and Ebony is my design - this is her after her non-powered vigilante persona, but before she gets electrical powers.

I love her design... I really should finish that story.

To not be solely Alternaty micros, here's a version of Jacques, using the recently submitted versions by Future.
I wondered what my favorite look from IKII'S past would look like if the black and white were switched.

I like it very much.
I also liked Jacques with the long hair, too, and added the red jacket that was on the black and yellow version for fun.
For fun, I added a yellow jacket version, as well, this morning.

My favorite's the one with the red jacket.

Here's my first Alternatiy character, Sumo Brin, 'fixed'/updated.
I can now let this character rest.

Because I combined gif and jpg images, I had a very difficult time with the colors patterning and getting lost when I'd save things.
That happened with a lot of my characters until I realized what I was doing wrong.
It made the whole process so frustrating.

But, I still like this one, quite a bit, even if he isn't perfect.

On Future's thread, I commented on Blok, thinking the he and Shikari would make a nicely matched couple.
So, here they are.

I have always thought of Blok as a serious type of person, so his gladiator skirt and chains costume seems very far from what the character would chose for himself.
But the color of the skirt is beautiful and something, with the blue, that goes well with the gray of Blok's skin.
The costume I picked is simple and elegant, two more ideas that go with Blok, imo.

Love the blue/purple combo.

This next one is the last of the current Ebony micros.
She is now capable of Garth's electrical powers.
SK says that she doesn't have a particular costume yet, she just borrows other Legionnaire outfits, or parts of them, anyway.
Garth's is obvious, the other one is from her BFF, Monstress (one of her beachware numbers.)

Nice. I can't get over how well Garth's outfit converts to female casual-wear.

DC should totally make a line of clothes like that based on their properties, like the thing Alyssa Milano has for the NFL.

I'd wear Garth's shirt, or Jan's or Jo's or . . .!
