Seymour your Mordu is so cute! And Sketch Lad, that coloring job you did on Mordu is amazing! Love how you rendered the skin - you should ask Mechana if she can hook you up with a coloring job!

Nice, dedster!
I was going to draw them, but my comics are all out of order/misplaced.
See....my office is a big ol mess right now and it'll take a long time to deal with it so I'm just...denying...it until I can drum up the energy to really dig in...
Anyway, for some reason, your depiction of the Teachers makes me think of tarot cards. It'd be fun to manipulate them into that....

A Legion Tarot would be very interesting. How would you go about it? All "regular" art methods or photo manips - you're good at both.
Be lucky

There's been some great stuff here, and it's the end of the month already! I've been so busy and haven't had a chance to add some other stuff I've partially completed... Or, in fact, finish it. I guess I'll be adding something after the month's over once things settle down a bit.

Though a bit confusing, as characters and personalities had changed during LSH's publishing history... so who would you choose, and why? I believe there's a reference to the Tarot in Legionnaires #48. While Mordru's other Legionnaire captive are simply hanging upside-down, Jan's pose is somewhat like that of 'The Hanged Man'. Somewhat, as Jan's arms are crossed in front of him and it's his right leg that's bent. Note that I'm not an expert on the subject. I'm working from an article about a D&D artifact based on the Tarot (Sept. '83 issue of Dragon Magazine).

I dunno, I'm still just thinking on it right now. Though some cards are obvious, like "The Magician" = White Witch and "The Sun" = Sun Boy. Actually I'm quite open to suggestions on this project.....anyone has any input PM me.

I always hate it when the pictures are missing. sigh I especially love the Seymour cartoons and Sarvisa by Sketch. Who IS Sarvisa? He's gorgeous, and the bird really helps the composition to be memorable. Here's a faery from the rollplaying in Legion World's Cloud Castle ~ She's from ANTM, Saheesha, which is a good name for the faery, too.

He's described as 'Sarvisa of Xerox (the Sorcerer's World)' and contacts the Stephen Strange wannabe on Earth during the Magic Wars about something. Issue 61 of Legion of Super-Heroes (part 2 of 4, of the Magic Wars, according to the screen I saw of the cover).

Amy from one of her mini series, I think. This is the one where she becomes part of Zerox/Gem World.

My choice for him, there were other photos with longer stuff, but this seemed more like the essense of Mordru rather than the fake glam. From MMaSM, season 2.

This is a beautiful image, very complex and interesting. The central figure is a male, which is rare in this Fantasy grouping. I think of him as Omen. http://gi105.photobucket.com/groups/m228/CV1ARFWWH1/dalimorph.gif posted by DESERTSUN2008

Here's a teaching exercise on Zerox as apprentices form hot air ballons, with baskets for travel, from clouds: http://gi105.photobucket.com/groups/m228/CV1ARFWWH1/ea487c8d.gif posted by ja_ja_eshe_ra and possibly done by he/she, as well These, there are 3 or 4 posted around here, now, are too big to post directly but they're wonderful. Please take the time to check them out.
