I LOVE these! I'm a big fan of X-Men Evolution, and it's a real treat to see the Legion get that sort of treatment.

Can't wait to see more!

You gotta know this was going to be my favorite. And your comments hit closer to home than you could have realized. Caroline and her family are allergic to MSG (and its active ingredient aspartme) so it was just classic for you to say Lightning Lad with no MSG. Can't wait until she sees this!

And please post any of your pics you want, Legion related or not. They are all welcome. Thanks TriSaber!

Excellent work, TriSaber. One little detail I like a lot (and don't ask me why - because I don't know) is how the tights bunch around the knees. Mine always do that. laugh

Tri, you really should work up a treatment using these as a basis for a Legion cartoon! These are excellent!

What a great depiction of Lightning Lad. Especiallly with the current Jarth business going on in the comic. Your pictures remind me of how I loved the preboot Legion so. I can still be counted as one who'd prefer a revert to preboot. I mean, I'm a fan of the current Legion and would support ANY Legion being published, but yes, I do long for the original Legion!

Thanks, folks. Glad you're all enjoying my lil' Evo LSH gallery. And here's the latest. I figured that since Lightning Lad was in the can, I should postpone my promised image of Cosmic Boy until later and render Garth's twin sister Ayla. Here she is for your viewing enjoyment, people ... Lightning Lass.

Another Grand Slam! Very nice! I'll have to admit that before Ayla I did not see the the similarities between X-Men: Evolution and your work. But Ayla, to me, bears a striking resemblance to Kitty. I think its the nose. Any, great work!

I think this is my favorite one so far. Ayla looks so... determined. Kind of like she was in the LSV arch, Lightning Lass at her best.

This is really fun!

It's going to be so much fun to see each of these as they arrive! I wonder how long it will be til a Dream Girl comes along?

Great job on these!

Everytime I see TriSaber's name logged in, I head eagerly to this post in hopes that another amazing drawing has been posted. Once again, I'm tickled pink. This is just great work, TriSaber. (And it has the trademark, tight wrinkles at the knees).

Thanks a lot, folks. I always aim to please, and it's a nice feeling to have my Legion work appreciated by people who know the group and can be discriminating about such things. And as originally promised, here's the third and final member of the Legion's founding trio. I give you Rokk Krinn, alias Cosmic Boy.

I'm getting nostalgic for the era that these costumes came from (the one you used for Coz is probably my fav of his).

Thanks, folks. Glad you like my rendition of Cos. To tell the truth, I've always preferred the Levitz/Lightle days to almost any other period in Legion history (I thought the LSV story arc was just fantastic). But maybe you folks can help me out with something. I'm having trouble with deciding what look to give Wildfire when the time comes to render him. Should I use the familiar face-masked ERG suit version, the "Firestorm" version just after he was transformed by Quislet, or his look just prior to the Magic Wars? What do you think?

I vote for the "classic" Wildfire look, with the mirrored faceplate and orange and red costume. Whether you do the Cockrum detailing or the Giffen detailing is up to you....

(Naturally, it'd be cool to see a whole Wildfire retrospective, but I don't want to scare you away wink

You know, my vote is 'none of the above'. The current Wildfire (Coipel design) looks as good as he ever has, I think that is the look you should use. The Levitz/Lightle era is also my favorite, and I generally agree with you that for your designs those uniforms work best. But in Wildfire's case, his current look is so much better than what we've seen before... I also think that that look will look quite good when combined with the others...By the way, another Legionnaire that in my opinion looks much better now is Apparition.

Juan

PS/Are you planning to include the post-boot Legionnaires in your series? It would really be a pitty if you left out Xs, Gates, Sensor, Kid Quantum and Kinetix...

Excellent stuff. I vote for group shots! I've got to come to the Bits board more often!
