Shadowplay in Candlelight

The first version I did was a bit to sexy for the character...a hotpanted blue and orchard little number. This version is borrowed from the Costume Rogue wore in the 80's.

Shark Lad

I was going to Give Shark lad a big sharky head, but decided to make him more human. except you know, with purple skin a dorsal fin and gills on his neck. the booties are kinda gay but they free up the ankles for the namor foot wings.

Sketch Lad

they say the pen is mightier then the sword. Well it is if its a big honking stabby pen like this! being the original costume designer that I am I just stole the current dream girl costume and reversed the colours (knowing how much of a Dream girl fan Sketch Lad is)

Sonnnie

Sonnie is male right? this costume has absolutely no influences at all. nope. nothing to do with Firestar at all.

Space Ranger DECEASED

This is the second Space Ranger Ive done...the first was very Marshall Bravestar inspired, this version is a legionised Galaxy Ranger ...I suppose he should be all green and decomposey being Zombie Space Ranger now.

I really really REALLY like the top pic here. this is another example of me trying to do new things with capes, here having the cape begin at the top of the hips as opposed to at the shoulders. I think it works and I really like the effect.

Star Boy

Another Gorefactor Zero member, this time the All American Boy...swap the star on the shirt for an A and thats pretty much him (also red and blue hair). All American Boy is the Sidekick of the Patriot, a Captain America knockoff. He starts the series as AAB but is in Love with Wullf, the brother of Catscratch (see queen connies entrry). He disapears for awhile and returns in a different form as the All American Girl, having undergone a mystical sex-change to become closes to the love of his life. Pretending to be his sister he rejoins GF-Zero and confesses his (her) love to Wullf, who then states that he was in Love with the All American Boy, and isnt interested in the AA-Girl at all. but, the sex change isnt reversable...damn!

Anyway, thats not to say the LMBP Starboy is a transexual in waiting. just thought Id recount the story of the costume here.

I only really read L.E.G.I.O.N over this past year...and I really liked Stealth as a character. yellow skinned chicks are hot. Im interested to find out what happened in R.E.B.E.L.S as Ive only read to the end of L.E.G.I.O.N...does she survive? is she still around? it looks like some of the team will be turning up again after the events of Infinite Crisis which Garryn Bek (loser) and Vril Dox cameod in.

this could be a costume for Stone boy now I think of it...but Im using him elswhere as "Stone Fist"...I like the Earthquakey effect on his chest. brown's such a crap colour for a costume meanwhile.

Nothing new here...just a new pic. oh I think I added a pot with the L symbol for Audrey (the big green mother from outer space)

Complete copy of the Kingdom Come Superboy costume...just made chest emblem a little more stylised.

Suncat looks a little more Skunky then I intended, which was to do a Mephistoid Legionnaire ala Hepzibah from the Starjammers . I dig the fringe...I think I did another version somewhere in runway that was more human looking...sort of a pink skinned cat woman. This one is cooler.

Tamper Lad

Tamper's Costume is meant to be like a microchip, with different parts of it being visible at different posirions. I like the whole black look...looks all stealthy and menacing.

Terry aka High Priestess Vivienne, Luna, Pizazz, KinetixGreenZoe et al

I think this is like...the hundredth costume Ive done for Terry...but hey, someone who changes their name as often as Terry does needs a lot of different looks. She probably has one of those giant closets that Kinetix has...with Tesseract zones and L space. anyway...obviouslly a Sailor Moon Legionnaire...something that Id been wanting to sketch for awhile but never got around to.

I dont really know that much about Thora...just that she's a bitchy queen from the feminist planet of Taltar? in anycase this dress is so hot right now!

I was going for a whole Go-Go dancer feel with this...plus I dig pink hair. the previous version was more Vielmisty looking...

Ultra Jorge

New Costume...Actually I dont think Id done an Ultra Jorge up to this point. Anywho...pretty straightforward Ultra Boy costume..except with a red emblem instead of green...which I was getting sick of at this point. Green Green everything Green!!!

Ultra Matt aka the Boy with Ultra Powers

This is one of my fave costumes here..I htink the previous Ultra Matt was just green pants and a white T-shirt. anyway...like I said...this is cooler.

Vee

No real changes for V, just swapped green for Blue following his acquiring the Emerald Eye of Ekron. the little green streaks in his fringe are supposed to make a V shape.

Walk With Crowds

Green Green So much Green! like I said I was getting sick of Green at this point. Anyway I stated elsewhere that I interpereted the "Walk with crowds" sig to mean that WWC could replicate himself ala Jamie Maddrox So I took that Idea and went with it...I was also watching Final Fantasy : Advent Children at the time so took a little of Cloud Strife for inspiration...this version has two sleeves instead of the singular sleeve of the previous one, aswell as shorter hair. Still has that sexy kilt though

White Raven

One of the niftier Costumes this one...I dont think the original had a tail on the bird shirt...anyway...loves it.

Yellow Kid

Apologies to Yellow Kid but htis is one of the crappier drawings in this thread. what can I say? it was about 4 in the morning when I did it. My understanding of the Yellow Kid is that he comunicates through the writing on his great yellow nightshirt...so here in Interlac is "Eat it Grandpa" , A catchphrase I use even in the most innapropriate settings (another is "C'mon!" ala GOB bluth)
