The butterfly element girl was named Flutter/Aerie; she's certainly more non-human in features than Dawnstar is. I'd say she ties with Sensor for how far along the Partly Human scale she is. I think she'd make a great candidate. But I still second elfin Zoe  Btw, would Lamprey or Comet Queen count as partly human?

Yeah, Flutter/Aerie would be great. But we have to decide on a name for her, either Flutter OR Aerie.

Btw, would Lamprey or Comet Queen count as partly human?Lamprey doesn't have many non human qualities. If she had fins instead of hands/feet or at least webbed digits that'd fit better. I'm on the fence about Comet Queen because she just looks like an alien, not so much part human part something else. I do love the character though.

That's when she went through the ceremony that made her Durla's spiritual leader, as the one who took that title from Reep was killed during the Dark Circle storyline. I dug into my collection and found pictures of Flutter and Leejah, and I feel like Leejah fits the "Partly Human" category better.
After much of the conversation here, it seems we might need another contest that features characters who have features that are not typical of the average human; Dawnstar, Flutter, Comet Queen, etc. Some of the characters mentioned could fulfill another FEMs (female extraterrestrial models) contest.

I did some sketches and they weren't all that interesting, so I set them aside. However, now I have a new idea and I'm re-energized for this project! It'll start coming together now.

Jeka and Kieke all the way!!  Something else else about the tail thing really works in this competition. They're both really dynamic poses and, even though they're only partly human, they still maintain their beauty. Great work, Dean. Yera is especially gorgeous, as well. You really blew me away!

Jeka and Keike.
Jeka looks like a very mysterious 40s pin-up girl! A snake fatale?
The way Keike's tail bends is appealing - or maybe it just makes it look more like legs? And her expression is great, like she's trying not to laugh at somebody offstage.
I also liked Gas Girl - what there was of her! - she looked a bit distracted.
Leejah's big green tentacle hands looked odd to me with her cute face, like she put on monster mitts. And, for some reason, Insect Queen has always given me a creepy feeling. That's just how I react to the characters, not your sketches.
