Interesting. This gives me a bit of hope for Legion of Three Worlds.
The Time Trapper has a history of manipulating the Legion. His motives have always been murky. The villian having a believable motive makes for a more solid story. The twist of his motive being to eliminate Superman makes perfect sense. This just might work.

Superboy-Prime? I thought he'd outgrown that name.

I sense a connection between Brainiac 5 and those bestial creatures the 3boot Legion has fought these last few issues. that said, manapul's pencils r awesome but JD's colours don't mesh well with me n r inconsistent.

I am hoping the Enemy Rising trade has bonus stuff in it like character sketches or alternate covers.

So since Enemy Rising is supposed to end on #44 - is #45 just a between storyline issue unless the mysterious intruder is the "enemy" that was risen.

I hope so too! I've done tons of designs for the book and it'd be cool to see print. that being said I"m just happy they're doing a hard cover laugh

I'll second GN's praise of the Sept Guerrieres work. Wow!

Is there any store stocking this in the Toronto area Francis? I know there are stores who could import one but I am lacking the motivation to trek out to one of them or try to figure out Amazon.fr for that matter. laugh

Looks like a very interesting series by some really cool creators. I love those European albums, such a variety of genres and art styles.

thanks all! yes steph it's gonna be a crazy issue and you'll see light lass starboy and b5 use their powers in a unique way. at least I think so.

right now the GN is only in french and italian soon I believe. American translations usually comes years later and only if there is a demand for it.

temper lad there's this store in toronto called Labrynth on Bloor just west of spadina, it's accross from BMV I believe they'll be ordering it and if my recollection is correct he wanted to do a signing with it. I'll make sure to post if it happens. thanks!

Scrumptious cover, FJM, this issue looks and sounds like a lot of fun. Oh, and congratulations on the first trade going hardcover. That's neat.

Shooter's stuff going hardcover actually tells me DC *IS* behind Shooter and his LSH, in spite of Lo3W...

I mean... not counting Archives, who ever thought the LSH would go HARDCOVER? And now we have 2 (including the ACTION arc). Seems like a big deal to me.

I just want to add how much I love Francis Manapul's design for LSH. He is probably my favorite LSH artist since Stuart Immonen. And I am a big lover of Barry Kitson, but his L.E.G.I.O.N. work was more interesting, I think, in terms of setting a scope.
It would be interesting to see why you chose to give LSH such a large sci-fi look (a look missing since Keith Giffen, imho) and whose work inspired you in this direction.
