Year Seven: The All-New, All-Different LMBP Part IV: Anecdotes during the ‘All-New, All-Different LMBP’ EraFollowing “The Good, the Dark and the Dead” Faraway Lad comes to accept the fact that he must continue to sip on ‘Pov’s Pint’ in order to remain alive. Often, he mixes it with various liquors, which leads to one infamous night where Gigglebot Girl catches him literally crawling up the stairs. The story makes circulations among the intergalactic tabloids. Following the expiration of Kid Prime and Yellow Kid’s terms as Leaders, the LMB decide that for now having no one clear leader is the best route to go. However, this still remains a hot topic among many LMB sects privately. The Office of Security – With the Security Office once more in shambles, Cobalt Kid once again sets to rebuilding it, this time with Invisible Brainiac doing the majority of the help with him. They over see a series of Security Initiatives: - Security Initiative #1 - Using “Chip in Head” technology, Cobalt installs an all-access Security Chip directly into his own head, giving him access to all of Legion World’s technology and communications services (though clarifying mainly for Reboot that he does not have access to view people privately without a warrant). This includes access to Stoopid Cat’s Tesseract system which can be used at any given time and complete access to the LMB database.
- Security Initiative #2 - Security Biochips shall be placed behind the ears of high ranking Security Officers (worn, not installed directly) acting as communications devices and for tracking purposes.
- Security Initiative #3 - The Reconstruction of the Office of Security, including Abin Quank's special Pretzel-maker, Matlock's coffee pot and Shark Lad's top floor aquarium office. Invisible Brainiac offers his own protection via erecting a hard-light shield around the building.
- The Office was further restructured with the addition of Dedman and Disaster Boy to the ranks of Upper-clearance security operatives, in addition to the recently returned Space Ranger and Emerald Empress.
- One additional surprise was the sudden return of Shark Lad to the fold, as the longtime LMBer and one of the earliest Security Officers became an active LMBer once more.
- Changes in management – the final initiative saw a restructuring of the Security Office, as Matlock is re-affirmed as co-Deputy Leader of the Security Office with Space Ranger, answerable only to Cobalt Kid (Chief of Security). Both Invisible Brainiac and Arachne are named as Senior Officers for their longtime service, and Arachne gains an additional job (with additional pay) by becoming the Chief of Security’s (Cobalt Kid) bodyguard.
With the de facto leadership of Yellow Kid and Harbinger at a close, a renewed focus is put on trying to get Reboot to rejoin the active roster. Reboot, pleased that the unelected leaders are out of office, agrees to join back up. Quickly following, however, there is an argument over Security Office procedures, particularly the ‘Chip in Head’ technology that causes Reboot to rethink this decision. Despite many differences in opinion, he elects to remain on the active roster, though it is obvious that he is largely a separate entity on many of the LMB’s decisions. The long-standing grudge between himself and Cobalt Kid, largely over security and triumvirate matters, continues. However, now that things have slowed down, the possibility of finally bringing that gap becomes increasingly something that Cobalt Kid considers, largely via the influence of Princess Crujectra, whom he spends an increased amount of time with. Though their past over the last year has been erratic, Reboot recalls that the two worked together to destroy the mad cobalt cones, and insists that reform to the Office of Security is largely what drives the wedge between the two. Subsequent to their being no clear leader, there is a bit of chaos among the LMB. Many look to traditional leaders, such as Princess Crujectra for support, while others look to the Chief of Security (Cobalt Kid) and his top advisors (Abin Quank and Matlock). Some look to other places or take matters into their own hands. Following the once-referred to old clause, the traditional LMB founders take a more active role in leading the group by proxy, whether its desired by the membership at large or not (and indeed, some did not desire this). Therefore, an almost de facto faction of Lash Lad, Cobalt Kid and Spellbinder emerge as a non-official leadership, since Mystery Lad remained largely a reserve member with his own studies as his main focus, and Lard Lad and Shadowplay in Candlelight Lass remained inactive members. An air of mistrust surrounds the High Priestess Viviane and Avalon following the recent troubles with them, causing the High Priestess to decide Avalonians should leave Legion World along with the Holy Isle of Avalon. During the process of their departure, a new woman, Darcy, entered Legion World and quickly becomes an enemy trying to create a school of magic that was a center point for controlling the universe. Viviane’s final act before leaving, in order to make amends for the Avalonian role in the GDD Saga is to destroy Darcy. Leaving for good, Avalon sends the Weird Sisters, led by Luna, to Legion World in their place. Luna quickly becomes immersed in LMB life, though there is still an air of mistrust. She does not take the High Priestess Viviane’s place in the Security Office or the LMB roster. Spellbinder opens LMBP Plaza to house the administrative tower of the LMB, as well as MacNeil Grove (formerly the ‘Hall of Fallen Heroes’), the MedLab, Hangar Bay, and LMB Academy. This takes the place of the tradition of LMB leaders forming their own HQ, as this now stands as the permanent headquarters on Legion World for the LMB. Also, two halls, Levitz Hall and Swan Hall, act as new housing for the infamous super-hero team. Crujectra quickly moves into the penthouse and Cobalt Kid moves into the other atop of Levitz Hall. Numf-El, Kid Vudoo, Disaster Boy and Arachne follow suit, and more LMBers begin to move in thereafter. Faraway Lad offers a protective Praetorian Guard as extra security for LMBP Plaza, which is gladly accepted. Sensing the vacuum of leadership can allow them to entertain their whims and thereby using the newly reinforced sense that the LMB founders have more say over LMB policy, Lash Lad and Cobalt Kid decide to make March “Lash Month” and April “Cobalt Month’. During “Cobalt Month” Cobalt Kid hosts a cotillion , on Lash’s suggestion, leads to many sexual misunderstandings and drunken passion among the LMB. Notably, Thora gets very intoxicated. During a routine scan of the Security Office, Invisible Brainiac falls into Shark Lad’s tank and the ferocious LMBer almost devours him alive. Longtime member of the community He Who Wanders returns to a pleasantly surprised LMBP, and resumes his active membership. Mattropolis, formerly known as Danny Blaine, returns to Legion World as a full-time LMBer for a time. Tamper Lad arrives on Legion World. Upon meeting various LMBers, opinions differ on him, including many who like him and equally many who question his intentions, since it is obvious he is an evil genius. He becomes antagonistic to some of the LMB, though new LMBer Caliente and he seem to form a bond. Hrun the Barbarian remains on Legion World following the “GD&D Saga”, leading to an increased presence of STDs on Legion World, which causes a brief hysteria. He and Matlock maintain an easy peace, as both adjust to the idea that Matlock is Hrun’s father. Oddly enough, Abin Quank and Pagan Lass appear to have a great deal of knowledge about Hrun’s past. Around this time, Caliente, Stealth and JoeBoy arrive on Legion World. Caliente and Stealth immediately impress the LMB and become new members. JoeBoy becomes fast friends with new members. During this time, Cobalt Kid and Spellbinder begin spending more time together than before. Though the two had been intimate and very close before, various members of the LMB begin to wonder if this will be more so, given that Cobalt’s annulment with Space Tart and her exit from Legion World and the LMB, the end to the High Priestess Viviane/Cobalt affair, and Ultra Matt’s decreased activity in the LMB. Rockhopper Lad arrives on Legion World as an Ambassador for his Pyngwyn people. The first LMBer he comes in contact with is Stealth. As he continues to become greater friends with the LMB, they slowly come to learn his his origin . His pet, a Terran dog known throughout the galaxy as Hyvvie the Wonder Beagle arrived soon after. The Streets of Legion World are attacked, and Rockhopper Lad comes to the rescue of its citizens, while JoeBoy reveals his powers as Kid Marvel. Stealth and other LMBers convince Rockhopper Lad and Kid Marvel to join the LMB. White Raven returns to Legion World to be among her longtime allies and for the first time in her career joins the active roster. Caliente and Actor Lad meet during an LMB mission and quickly begin flirting, causing Actor Lad to ask her out. The two become a quick item and the paparazzi follow it thoroughly in the media. Caliente’s friend Tamper Lad appears displeased by this new development. Leap Year Lass continues to use the ancient art of anagrams to gain insight into worldly events. Chancing to place ‘Fat Cramer’ though the method, she produces ‘Cat Framer’, causing Fat Cramer to be aware of a plot to discredit all felines. Fat Cramer, Jinx, Stoopid Cat and Queen Connie are able to put a stop to this beforehand. Polar Boy continues to enjoy a specific spot on Legion World that emanates a horrid stench, aptly named the “I Farted Thread”. Not surprisingly, it becomes an LMB tradition to send new members there without their knowledge before hand. Nearly a year later after is first citing, a new group of posters begins a watch for Grendel, the most notorious of lurkers. Not surprisingly, this watch is led by Eryk Davis Ester, a certified authority on Grendel, as well as other onlookers from years past, including Lash Lad, Kid Vudoo, Kent Shakespeare, Cobalt Kid and Outdoor Miner. New $3.00 bills are created as currency on Legion World with LMBer Lil’ Rhino on them. They are often exchanged for quick pats on the behind. The Red Bee, imprisoned for his crimes during the ‘GD&D Saga’, continues to write letters to Legion World, mocking various LMBers. Sensing that there is a great stress on the timeline, Gina DC, known among various worlds as Continuity Cop comes to Legion World to investigate. The LMB sense that her presence will be helpful and induct her into their ranks. Eryk Davis Ester opens up his ‘ Cotton Shop ’, using the cotton fields of Greg Evignan Island, which were so important in the defeat of the Red Bee. Caliente’s best friend, Frio, who is like a sister to her, journeys to Legion World in search of her sister. Caliente is delighted to see her, while other males Legionnaires are equally as glad. After a brief interlude with Luna, which opens up the mystery of Frio’s origin but also shows off her ice-powers, the LMB induct Frio within their ranks. Frio gets to know other LMBers, particularly interested in Actor Lad and Tamper Lad. Jailbait Lass helps Matlock, Invisible Brainiac and Arachne solve a case involving the Retros that extends beyond the Office of Security and into the LMB at large and gets a costume and is awarded an Honorary Membership to the LMB. Many LMBers from the Office of Security see this as a long-time coming. She still acts as Cobalt Kid’s personal intern for his various positions and businesses (Security Office, Triumvirate, Real Estate Offices, etc.). Thora and Dr. Mayavale remain an active part of everyday Legion World life. Rumors circulate of certain LMBers wanting to have them added to the active roster. Thora retains a high amount of supporters among the LMB, such as Leap Year Lass, while Dr. Mayavale appears to become an advisor to Cobalt Kid, following the help he provided him during the GDD Saga. Lash Lad creates the hit phrase ‘Totally Tits’, which becomes immensely popular during this era in Legion World culture. The Ghost of Numf-El remains an active part of Legion World, although he remains a ghost throughout. Rather than be worried about their friend, the LMB assume that somehow he’ll get to normal eventually, and Numf enjoys the various things ghosts can do that the living cannot. Sonnie, though believed alive, does not re-appear on Legion World, though the LMB trusts Numf that his sense that Sonnie is alive are correct. The Legion gains various allies during this time period ( note – ‘LMB Allies’ are LW posters that do not normally participate in any LMB activities). They are: RJ Kouroni, Mediocre Boy, Karie, Luca. SHAKES continues to act as the social center of Legion World, and becomes even more full during this period, as newer LMBers become acquainted with the active membership, as well as various citizens of Legion World. Semi-Transparent Fellow continues to bartend at SHAKES and therefore serves as an unofficial welcoming committee for Legion World, as does Varalent. More often than not, traditional SHAKES regulars Outdoor Miner, Arachne and others are found within enjoying their drinks. While on Monitor Duty, Kent Shakespeare, Cobalt Kid and Eryk Davis Ester are able to watch a team-up in a different world, as Senior Widebottom, Leap Year Lass of Earth-4 and a pre-Nightwing Dick Grayson of Earth-2 all fight crime together. Obviously a Faraway Lad of one of those must have been present for such a team-up to occur. Speculation runs rampant over a possible re-hook-up of Thora and Cobalt Kid. Related, Princess Crujectra and Invisible Brainiac are seen canoodling in public. After many weeks of dating, Caliente surprises Actor Lad and the rest of Legion World, by proposing to her boyfriend. He quickly accepts and the engaged couple becomes the hot-topic of all major Legion World (an UP!) media. Disaster Boy continues to secretly search for answers in regards to his past and continues to feel that they lie somewhere on Legion, as perhaps, some of the LMB may be his parents. At this time, Luna and the Weird Sisters enter Legion World following the High Priestess Viviane’s defeat of Darcy and the exit of all Avalonians from Legion World. The Arch-nemesis of the Weird Sister, the Banshee, also joins them. Immediately, she senses Disaster Boy’s presence and attempts to find him. Banshee flies through the skies of Legion World, causing a city-wide panic via her voice. Café Cramer, SHAKES, the LMBP Plaza and the Security Office are all disturbed. At last, she find Disaster Boy , who is prepared to get answers. Banshee claims that she is indeed his mother, and that his is from an alternate future, the child of that future’s Red Bee. However, Disaster Boy doubts if this true, or if this villainous is toying with him. He is not able to learn, however, as a group of LMBers: Cobalt Kid, Space Ranger, Outdoor Miner, Stealth, Lad Boy, Kid Vudoo and Nightcrawler stop her and she flies off, now with fresh thoughts of vengeance on Legion World and the LMB. Disaster Boy is left wondering about who he is, while the LMB meet Luna and the Weird Sister for the first time, and months old suspicions against Avalonian, given the recent history of the GDD Saga, resurface. It is at this time that the Weird Sister Selene first sees Outdoor Miner, and finds herself attracted to him. With the media so focused on Caliente and Actor Lad’s engagement, plus the recent speculation of a secret Caliente/Tamper Lad romance, rumors swirl through Legion World. Luna, now getting used to her new home, makes a disparaging remark towards Caliente—immediately, the fiery LMBer gets word of this and Luna and Caliente engage in hostilities. Frio immediately comes to her sister’s aid, while Tamper Lad also enters the fray, causing even more media sensation. Space Ranger, Co-Deputy Leader of the Security Office, immediately investigates, and through his usual ‘hard-nosed means of diplomacy’ serves to enrage all the participants. Through Outdoor Miner, Semi-Transparent Fellow and others attempt to ease into a peaceful solution, as well as Caliente and Luna’s both acceptance that this was a simple misunderstanding, a truce is called. Feeling that this story will stay interesting, the media outlets of Legion World continue asking high profile LMBers what they think about the supposed Actor Lad/Caliente/Tamper Lad love-triangle. Eryk Davis Ester, in response, gives his famous phrase, ‘ It ain\'t easy being green ’. Queen Connie reports that her bowl of cream has been stolen, only to learn that Jinx’s yarn has been robbed as well. It was soon revealed that this was a prank played by Calamity Monkey. Umber goes on a full-scale shopping spree and again Cobalt Kid attempts to tell her that he’s her father, and again, she thinks he’s had one too many joints…which he may have.

Year Seven: The All-New, All-Different LMBP Part IV: Anecdotes during the ‘All-New, All-Different LMBP’ Era (cont’d)Tamper Lad, now fully in the media spotlight, makes his thoughts on various topics be well-known. Unfortunately, his long-time role as an Evil Genius, while fascinating to some, does not go well with many citizens of Legion World. He proclaims that Legion World should be a dictatorship, and should be renamed www.invertedrocketship.com. When asked about this, Cobalt Kid proclaims “ Tamper Lad is an evil genius ”, although the media makes this out to be an insult. It is believed that this may have been a cause of friction between the two. Tamper Lad’s comments, however, cause Space Ranger, forever a believer in pro-active law enforcement, to be an even greater presence in Legion World’s airspace and streets, leading many of the newer LMBers and citizens to wonder if perhaps he’s too rigid an enforcer of the law. Unaware of his long history of protecting Legion World, such as during the Dark Stu Saga, they don’t hold the same trust for him as his closest companions, such as Cobalt Kid and Outdoor Miner, which furthers a budding animosity. With all of these sentiments building, Luna enters the Office of Security to see where her friend the High Priestess Viviane’s office is. In a moment of pure confusion, Space Ranger mistakes her for his new intern . A back and forth worthy of a screen-writers Oscar then takes place, resulting in an explosion of rage and pure venom. Quickly after, threats of violence begin to take place, and other LMBers find themselves pulled in. Cobalt Kid, who was merely down the hall in his office, is suddenly involved, as Luna threatens to murder him, when he brings up his old ‘relationship’ with Viviane. At some point during this misunderstanding, Luna murders Tamper Lad’s pet physicist chicken, Cluckers Bohr. Caliente, attempting to defend her new friend Luna while at the same time show aggression to Space Ranger who has recently incurred her animosity, also gets involved, which leads to Tamper Lad’s involvement. Tamper Lad subsequently finds himself at odds with Space Ranger, and some degree, Cobalt Kid. However, before any of this can explode, Outdoor Miner enters the fray to calm things down—only for Luna’s sister, Selene, to make her move. The Almost Wedding of Selene and Outdoor Miner – Literally demanding that Outdoor Miner become her husband, Selene prepares to kidnap him. Seeing this as a perfect opportunity to exploit, Tamper Lad plays on her lack of knowledge of UP customs and ‘sells’ Outdoor Miner to her, saying she has Legion World’s blessing. Selene makes her move and chaos results, as Invisible Brainiac, Cobalt Kid, Caliente, the recently arrived Actor Lad, Arachne and others must put a stop to this. Space Ranger takes this opportunity to hunt for Tamper Lad’s secret undisclosed location, which only furthers their animosity, believing that Outdoor Miner can handle himself. In the end, Luna forces her sisters to leave the Security Office, so that she becomes the only Weird Sister with dealings in the capital city of Legion World. From here on in, Tamper Lad begins a campaign against the Security Office in the media. Many of his arguments are reminiscent of Reboot’s old arguments of Oligarchy on Legion World by the Triumvirate and the rich-landowning LMBers, which include Cobalt Kid, the Chief of Security. This, in fact, draws Reboot back out, and once more he and Cobalt Kid realize the rift between them and the issues at hand, despite a momentary truce at the close of the GDD saga, which was then disrupted by the Security Initiatives. More apparent, however, is that this opens up the floodgates for questions on LMB leadership and elections, which still remained a hot-button issue that had recently been quiet. Even more, the host of new members of the LMB and new citizens of Legion World revealed that many LMB traditions, which were generally ‘un-spoken’, given the loss of documents and headquarters during their many crisis over the years, were relatively hard to interpret sense there was no real hard and fast way of learning them. It is at this point, then, that Kid Prime, who had been considering this idea ever since his term as leader began close to a year earlier, began mentioning the possibility of an LMB Constitutional Convention to his closest friends and confidants. At once, many of these, such as Eryk Davis Ester, began to encourage the idea. Whispers of a possible Constitutional Convention began to move through Legion World, and soon full-out discussions began to take place. Many were strongly supportive of the idea, while some, still shell-shocked over all that had happened in the last year, including many of the bad, found themselves adjusting to it. One example of was that Cobalt Kid approached his friend Dr. Mayavale and the two had a conversation about not only the state of the universe, but the future of the LMB given its recent past, revealing that many longtime LMBers were still adjusting to all that had happened and wondering where they should go. Mayavale’s words were poignant: “It is important to remember what we stand for. For those who stand for nothing will fall for anything.”At this point forward, many LMBers of times past began making their way back to Legion World, to participate in the Constitutional Convention, such as Harbinger, Icefyre, Super Lad Kid, Stoopid Cat, Kara, Suddenly Seymour, and others. Backroom discussions about LMB policy, including the Legion World armies, the elections, taxes on the Legion World population, an active squad of LMB-Avengers and other topics began to see light. Thereafter, the Constitutional Convention started. PLEASE NOTE – the Constitutional Convention will be covered in the following section. The remainder of these anecdotes take place as the Constitution was going on simultaneously. Everyday Girl, a longtime ‘Honorary Member’ of the LMB, journeys to Legion World to join her grandparents, Abin Quank and Pagan Lass, although their connection to her remains a mystery for a brief while. She quickly immerses herself in LW life, and seeks to become an active member of the LMB. While endearing herself to some members, such as Cobalt Kid, she begins to get on the nerves of some others. She becomes fast best friends with Jailbait Lass. Readers note – Everyday Girl had been an established Honorary LMBer since way back in Fall 2003 in the ‘Ongoing LMBP Tag Team Thread’, though she first appeared as an Alt ID, and thus actual LMBer, at this time.Space Tart stays in touch with her longtime good friends Lash Lad, Lucien Lad, Loser Lad and others and reveals that she has joined a group called the “Super Lesbian League”, unsure of why they wanted to join their ranks so badly. Phineas B. Fuddle, long missing since the Dark Stu Saga, makes a rear appearance among the LMB, giving them a glimpse into a future they could have had. Unknown tot hem, this is a precursor to the Infinite Crisis, as Phineas takes advantage of the weakening continuity stream to show a more ‘ Cutting Edge ’ LMB. A massive Yard Sale of Space takes place on Legion World, causing Caliente, Lash Lad, Leap Year Lass, Quislet Esq., Invisible Brainiac, Disaster Boy, Abin Quank, Fat Cramer, Cobalt Kid and Semi-Transparent Fellow to attend. Rockhopper Lad opens Rockhopper\'s Rookery to rave reviews on Legion World, giving them a cool place to get away. It includes ski slopes with Frio as an instructor. Rockhopper Lad soon throws his first annual Summer Holiday Bash. For all of his past heroism, Eryk Davis Ester receives an aware from the common people of United Planets who love him dearly. At the ceremony, his longtime friend and fellow Triumvir, Cobalt Kid, gives the speech “ The Many Heroic Deeds of Eryk Davis Ester ”. Other honorees at Eryk’s reception include Bevruck Jespers, the famous movie star, whom Eryk, Cobalt and others meet for the first time. They are surprised to learn that like Cobalt, both he and Antiquated Forms of Communication Lass, the old LMB ally, are Ggrrggian. The continued animosity between Space Ranger and Caliente, Tamper Lad and Luna builds. At one point it is revealed that Cobalt Kid has videos of all events that occur within the Tesseract system, and Caliente becomes aware that one of her dates with Actor Lad, in which the two became very intimate, may have been in the Tesseract System, and thus may be on one of Cobalt’s videos. Immediately, Cobalt Kid is associated again with Space Ranger and pulled into the grudge, and Caliente, along with her sister Frio, make their way into the Security Office to demand it. After a big misunderstanding, Cobalt Kid gives Caliente her video back, but not before Frio and Cobalt Kid are pitted against one another. Attempting to work this out in the way he knows best, Cobalt Kid attempts to charm Frio. No wallflower herself, Frio does the same, and the two become romantic within the Security Office. Frio joins the Security Office thereafter, and the scandal makes the rounds in Legion World. The biggest scandal of the season hits, however, the following week. Quislet Esq., long considered the center of judicial justice on Legion World, announces that he and the Royal Inquisitor, the murderer who he had been prosecuting for the past months, have actually fallen in love. Surprising Legion World, who generally have an extreme dislike of the Royal Inquisitor to the point of almost hate, he tells them that he’s learned a tremendous amount about the Inquisitor’s past (calling him lovingly ‘Roy’) and that he believes he’s helping heal him. Immediately, many LMBers fear for Quis, believing he may be under control and distrusting the Inquisitor. Indeed, a great deal never forgive him for the murder of Giant Squid during the Dark Stu Saga. However, Quislet soon announces that they are in fact engaged , despite the Inquisitor’s life sentence in Takron-Galtos. Legion Adventure Man, confused to his identity asks just who ‘Roy’ is, and gets this reply . Meanwhile, during the course of the Constitutional Convention, Tamper Lad’s ideas, inspired by his evil genius persona, continue to meet with disapproval by many LMBers. Also, it is at this point that Cobalt Kid and Reboot begin working in unison on Security Office reform, and Tamper Lad finds himself not included in this discussion ( note – all of this will be covered within the next section). With this occurring, Tamper Lad, along with many others, is pushed into a pool in a moment of playful and competitive joking, and he decides he will no longer be a part of these proceedings. Leaving in an uproar, he exits the Constitution and takes to the streets of Legion World to cause trouble. Tamper Lad returns to his Undisclosed Location and begins making preparations for a full-scale riot and rebellion on Legion World, attempting to pit the lurking class against the prominent citizens, many of whom are in the LMB. Creating his own LMB, which is run by a Senate of the LMB, he announces his new group, entitled ‘SPQL’ (Senate and People of the Legion), a new Security Office ran by Luna, Caliente and a third party named by Kid Prime, and then announces their intentions to riot in the streets . Immediately, he gains a small following, and the riots begin. At this point, Cobalt Kid issues a warrant for his arrest, causing Caliente to defend Tamper Lad. Frio surprisingly takes Cobalt’s side to Caliente’s shock. Tamper Lad reacts by calling this ‘Cobalt Kid’s continual corruption of the teenage female youth of Legion World via the Security Office’. As the riots grow increasingly alarming, Invisible Brainiac and Space Ranger hunt down Tamper Lad. Matlock takes to the streets and is able to calm the people down, as they are reminded of how he saved them from the Royal Inquisitor months ago, or how the Security Office has protected them over the years. This causes the panic to begin to subside. During these events and the ongoing Constitutional Convention, Tamper Lad and Caliente finally do have the affair they have been long rumored to have been having. In addition to the mutual attraction they both shared, Actor Lad's continual absences are also a factor. As the larger riots cease, a smaller group prepares to march on the Security Office itself with Tamper Lad at the lead. Now non-security officer LMBers enter the fray, such as Spellbinder, Crusader, Maxx, Faraway Lad and others, hoping to quell the problem before real trouble starts. Finally, Cobalt Kid arrives and through a series of negotiations between himself, Invisible Brainiac, Faraway Lad and the crowd, a relative peace is created, and the crowd subsides its rabble. Tamper Lad, not discouraged in the slightest, leaves and returns to his undisclosed location for his next plan. Seeing both his brilliance and enthusiasm, its at this point that some of the LMB remark that it might be time to induct him into their membership. From this point forward, friendships with him by Caliente, Rockhopper Lad and others are highly encouraged. Given Tamper Lad’s behavior and the recent betrayal of the Red Bee, Lucien Lad asks the question of how many LMBers have gone evil or betrayed the LMB in the past. The answer is not pleasant. Luna, following recent events closely, once more goes to the Security Office to engage Space Ranger in a war of words, seeing him on the news looking for Tamper Lad. While there, she finds his brother, Abin Quank, instead, and the two of them begin debating the Ranger’s methods. Pagan Lass, Abin’s wife, intercedes on his behalf, and an even larger explosion takes place between the two females. As more and more people are pulled into the fray, a side argument breaks out between Pagan Lass and Stoopid Cat, her familiar once the goddess Bast is summoned to end the dispute. In a shocking turn of events, Stoopid Cat abandons Pagan Lass for her stubbornness, but in doing so, accidentally leaves her extremely vulnerable, making his abandonment appear to be an act of extreme betrayal. He immediately disappears. Actor Lad returns to Legion World determined to win back Caliente, his fiance after her affair with Tamper Lad. Being extremely sweet and romantic, she realizes that he is who she wants to be with and the two are reunited. Thora of Taltar comes across Tamper Lad in the streets, and its revealed that the two have a history and some animosity. Tamper Lad spent some time on Taltar in his youth to the surprise of many. Tamper Lad is then distressed to see his long-time friend Nova Girl, who is a supporter of Thora, come to Legion World. She quickly establishes herself among Tamper’s evil genius elite much to his dismay. It is here we first learn of Tamper Lad’s ‘boring speech-making power’. Girls Night Out – while vacationing in the Tropica Zone on Legion World, Shadowplay in Candlelight Lass, Fat Cramer, Arachne and Spellbinder are caught up in a trap filled with armored and armed gorilla gun by a new LMB villain: the Bannata Commando! A former sergeant in the Science Police the Commando manifested the mutant power to communicate with primates, and soon used zoo gorillas to form the Bannato Warriors, his own private guard. After a scuffle the ladies make short work of him. Note – this was a Onevision written by Spellbinder aka Princess Crujectra.Prelude to Crisis – Cobalt Kid immediately begins searching for Stoopid Cat in the tesseract system , which he traditionally has controlled ( note – click on the second link for the story). He finds his old ally, though frozen solid, as if a statue, and is surprised to see Hrun the Barbarian, Stoopid Cat’s one time enemy but now partner, also frozen as a statue. After working to free them, he is again gradually joined by the group most associated with drama during this time: Caliente, Tamper Lad, Frio, Space Ranger, Invisible Brainiac and Luna, who is angry at Caliente for sleeping with Tamper Lad. Finally, Hrun the Barbarian is freed, and he decides to take it upon himself to bring Stoopid Cat out of his funk. Laying traps and bait, he arouses the cat from his frozen sleep and the two battle once again, this time each basking in the glow of battle. As both exit, battling their way through SHAKES, Café Cramer and other Legion World locations (to the chagrin of Fat Cramer, Semi-Transparent Fellow, the Emerald Empress, Matlock and others), they soon rejoin their LMB comrades, but hardly notice the subtle entrance of a series of bug-creatures in the Tesseract system of Legion World, known as Daleks. Note Towards the end of these anecdotes events were occurring simultaneously with the Constitutional Convention. Both events would lead into LMB: Infinite Crisis, a long-running and complicated event that will get its own section.

Year Seven: The All-New, All-Different LMBP Part V: The LMBP Constitutional Convention: Real History The LMB Constitutional Convention Summary of LMBP Constitutional Convention - incomplete August 24, 2005 – September 23, 2005 (further continued in December of 2005, but ultimately cancelled) Real historyDuring this time, circa August 2005, there was continued talk of possible leadership elections, as well as other protocols of the LMBP. A lot of this was a natural topic of conversation given the recent influx of new members who were unaware of past LMBP traditions and history, including reasons why certain topics were left by the wayside or purposely avoided. Further, long-standing LMB traditions, some going back well before the foundation of Legion World, continued to be implied rather than outright written, and were often hard for some to decipher, including members of LMB that had been on Legion World for some time. The Office of Security, which had become a beacon of LMB in-character role-playing once more on the MMB also became a hot topic. All of this coincided with the return of Kid Prime at the close of “the Good, the Dark and the Dead” Saga, which helped these topics percolate, since Kid Prime had long had a few ideas about how to sort out some of the complicated lore and protocol of the LMBP. Thus, he presented the idea of a ‘Constitutional Convention’ to work these things out. The idea immediately garnered serious interest among the active posters of the LMB, and especially interesting, was that it began to draw older posters back to the boards as well as draw out lurkers to participate. Thus, the sudden reappearance of Icefyre, Harbinger, Super Lad Kid and other past LMBers/Legion Worlders can definitely be attributed to the Constitutional Convention. In the end, the Constitutional Convention was ultimately cancelled, due to some posters feeling that having an LMB constitution was going too far in establishing a status quo and structured guideline. Though many liked the idea, those that did not had equally as relevant points since the LMB had long been a source of anti-establishment sentiment, so a constitution did not seem right. It did, however, accomplish the role of creating a breeding ground of activity on Legion World. The most important thing, however, of the entire Constitutional Convention exercise is that it created a set format for how an election could one day be run, right down to the gritty details. In fact, almost immediately at the start of the convention, posters Eryk Davis Ester and Cobalt Kid purposely set out to create a voting system that could one day restore the elections, and others, seeing that this was there goal, added their own insight. Therefore, although the constitutional convention was largely abolished so that there was no actual constitution, the established guidelines of a voting system were in place. Allowing time for sentiment to shift in favor of restoring the leadership positions, posters who already wished for this could now rest easy in knowing that a firm and efficient system in conducting the elections were in place. Towards the end of the Constitutional Convention, the blurry lines of ‘in-character’ vs. ‘real people’ continued to intersect and the event led into one larger, more complicated event, known as ‘LMB Infinite Crisis’. With the sudden disappearance of Varalent, the LMB immediately found themselves immersed in the single most all-encompassing LMB event in its history. Therefore, this section will close at the disappearance of Varalent, and immediately lead into LMB Infinite Crisis. Though the constitutional was temporarily put on hold, it was revisited once more at the close of LMB Infinite Crisis, but was subsequently caught up in some posters wanting to start over, thereby eliminating all enthusiasm of those who had previously worked hard on it, and solidifying the sentiment of those that wanted to abolish the entire process to begin with. Therefore, the entire Constitution was relatively cancelled, though much had been accomplished, albeit, now unofficially so.

Year Seven: The All-New, All-Different LMBP Part VI: The LMBP Constitutional Convention: In Continuity The LMB Constitutional Convention Summary of LMBP Constitutional Convention - incomplete August 24, 2005 – October 23, 2005 (further continued in December of 2005, but ultimately cancelled) In ContinuityAs previously discussed in the anecdotes section, conversations regarding LMBP protocols and institutions became more prevalent among the membership during this time, especially given the recent influx of new members into the LMB and new citizens on Legion World. Topics such as leadership elections and the Office of Security infrastructure, which had been largely abandoned months earlier, once more became points of discussion and more often argument. Seeing this as an opportunity to solidify the structure of the LMBP, which had always been very loose in its nature, Kid Prime suggested the idea of an LMBP Constitutional Convention, encouraging LMBers to argue and debate what the structure of the LMBP should be, so that an official constitution could be available for future use. Immediately, this generated quite a bit of interest among the LMBP membership at large, as well as the citizens of Legion World. Everyday citizens who were not official members of the LMBP, but lived on Legion World and thus were directly affected by its outcome (such as Tamper Lad and Thora) demanded their inclusion in the discussions. Kid Prime, who was largely seen as the LMBPer in charge of the proceedings (given that there was no longer an official LMB leader and he was the one who created the idea) decided to allow their inclusion in the events, and this was met with applause by the Legion World citizenry and the LMBP active roster. Word also began to spread throughout the entire United Planets, so that the UP government and citizens throughout the galaxies held a keen interest in the events ongoing. LMBPers from all over the galaxies who had long been absent from the active roster began to return to Legion World to take place within the proceedings, and many returned to the active roster for a time. These LMBPers included Harbinger, Super Lad Kid, Icefyre, Kara, Queen Connie, Suddenly Seymour and others. ModeratorsModerators were chosen to allow events to proceed with order, and they were Kid Prime (who started the proceedings) and Spellbinder (who has long been seen as the unofficial leader of the LMBP). Official List of Delegates in AttendanceAn official list of attendees was created, though often it was slightly in accurate, as citizens of Legion World would attend and other LMBers would show up for a time, only to leave before their attendance could be recorded. This list of delegates in attendance included: - Kid Prime, representing Cybertron
- Thora, representing Taltar
- Outdoor Miner, representing Outdoor Miner
- Rockhopper Lad, representing the Pyngwyn Colonies of Planet Hyustyn
- Disaster Boy, representing the future
- Fat Cramer, representing Planet Cafe'
- Phoebe, Selene, and Luna, all representing Avalon and the Third Race
- Varalent, representing the Variable Realm
- Cobalt Kid
- Lucien Lad, representing a tree
- Kid Vudoo (RTVU2), representing!
- Joeboy (aka Kid Marvel), representing the class of ‘05
- Tamper Lad, representing the mad genius caste
- Eryk Davis Ester, representing huffiness
- Princess Crujectra (aka Spellbinder), representing Psyonia
- Quislet Esq., representing the Lullaby League
- Abin Quank, representing Abin's Official Legion World Janitorial Service
- Semi Transparent Fellow, representing the small business owners of Legion World
- Lad Boy
- Southtown Kid, Legion World citizen
- Stoopid Cat
- Space Ranger
- Minesurfer
- Legion Adventure Man, representing the adventure era
- Queen Connie, representing cuteness
- Loser Lad, probably representing hedonism
- Caliente, representing the hopeless fangirls
Events occurring simultaneously with the Constitution ConventionThroughout the convention, delegates were encouraged to come and go as they pleased and to be involved in the convention only as much as they wished to be. Thus, there was a constant stream of delegates entering and exiting the convention as debates and arguments were made. Life on Legion World, therefore, continued as it always did, and now even more so with a larger population of LMBers returning on-planet, and more lurkers and every day citizens becoming more actively involved in public politics. Thus, the incident involving the Tamper Lad riots of the summer of ’05 occurred during the time the Constitutional Convention was taking place, and indeed, were inspired by the convention itself. It became common place for ‘horsing around’ and general mischief (albeit, light-hearted mischief) to take place within the confines of the convention, so that there was commonly such occurrences of people being pushed into the pool and other such nonsense. On more than one occasion Tamper Lad was pushed into the pools, and combined with his outright contempt for the direction the Article on the Office of Security was going in and his general lack of involvement, this led him to begin the riots covered in the previous section. Other events, such as the rescue of Stoopid Cat and trouble at the Security Office, also occurred simultaneously with the convention. The very beginnings of Infinite Crisis also began to occur in unison with the Constitutional Convention, and ultimately, the first major step towards that event occurred in the convention halls. As we break up the below analysis by line of reform, there will be references to how these individual debates may have influenced outside events on Legion World at the time. StatementThe first order of business was drawing up of a statement for the LMBP. Using some thoughts on the LMBP from senior delegates Spellbinder and Cobalt Kid, it was Kid Prime who came up with: <span style="font-size: 12px;">We the Sentients</span> , the heroic misfits of the LMBP, drawn together in our search for a place to share our thoughts and common interests without fear of censure, have come together to celebrate being both "on-topic" and "off -topic," to cherish the friendships we've forged that keep us together, and of course to use our powers and abilities to fight for justice throughout the universe and on our adopted homeworld, Legion World! Being also drawn together by our love of the Legion of Super-Heroes, we take a pro-active stance on involving others in Legion fandom, in doing any tiny little bit it takes to help increase the profile of the current comic book by bringing in new fans and showing them what a cool concept the Legion is--in all forms, thus actively continuing to immerse people in the fun. In all our interactions, we strive to maintain the highest respect and honor for all others and their wondrous, beautiful diversity, for it is diversity that makes our world and universe so immeasurably strange, complex, and beautiful. The LMBP means friendship and doing away with internet formalities, and creating a real community of friends online, which have a common goal of loving the Legion. But it means so much more: the Legion has long ago become a small portion of that. It means being a place to come when you feel like you've got nowhere else to go, to discuss the various things that interest you, and it means you've decided that above all else, its much more important that everyone is having a good time together, in mutual respect, admiration, and love, without fear of censure. All are welcome here, but please play nice. Oh, and we do ordain and establish this Constitution for the Legion Of Message Boards Posters! LMB Leadership and ElectionsThis shall be discussed in the next section. Official LMBP Theme SongThroughout the convention a balance between serious issues and light-hearted issues was attempted by the moderators to ensure that the spirits of the delegates were kept high. Thus, the topic of LMB Theme Song was broached on many occasions and became a long-standing topic of discussion. Many songs were presented as a possible theme song, and here were the Possible choices: - “The Sky is Green” (Tamper Lad)
- “Magic Carpet Ride” (Space Ranger, LAM)
- “I’m a little teapot” (Quislet, Cobalt Kid)
- “Knights of the Round Table” from Holy Grail (Kid Prime)
- “99 Bottles of Beer on the Wall”
- “Space Truckin’”
- “Born to be Wild”
- “Kung-Fu Fighting”
- “Girls, Girls, Girls” (Luna)
- “Always look on the bright side of life" from The Life of Brian (Faraway Lad)
- Superfreak (Lad Boy)
Tamper Lad’s own song “the Sky is Green”, which was a tribute to his own rise as the dictator of the LMB is notably important, as the rioters in the streets of Legion World were heard to be singing this as they marched towards the convention halls.

Year Seven: The All-New, All-Different LMBP Part VI: The LMBP Constitutional Convention: In Continuity (cont’d)The Office of Security ArticleFor years the Office of Security and its role on Legion World had been a topic of heated debate, with some notable LMBers publicly stating they were enemies of the office, such as Reboot. The role of Cobalt Kid, as the Chief of Security being a position that he held for life and could not be removed from by an LMB leader (or anyone unless he resigned willingly or died), was also hotly contested. Thus, the Office of Security became a topic of debate very quickly during the Constitutional Convention and remained so throughout. Though there were a wide range of posters that included themselves in the discussion on reforming the Office of Security, it mainly was the work of Cobalt Kid and Reboot that brought progress. Reboot had long been the biggest critic of the Office, since his days as LMB Deputy Leader (Leader for a time via a flaw in the system), and he vehemently explained that the Office needed reform. Cobalt Kid, the founder of the Office and truly the one person that understood and controlled what was happening there, was traditionally against any outside reform. However, given the recent events of “The Good, the Dark and the Dead” Saga, Cobalt Kid and Reboot worked very well together, and Cobalt Kid began to understand that perhaps reforming the office was necessary after all, if it would help keep the citizens of Legion World happy. Thus, Cobalt Kid invited Reboot particularly, correcting assuming that Reboot’s inclusion on reforming the office would offset any citizen’s notion that there wasn’t dissident opinion to Cobalt Kid’s ideas, to reform the Office. Others contributed, but it became largely a two-man reform. Indeed, this lack of other participation on the actual wording partially inspired Tamper Lad’s riots, though it should be noted that Tamper Lad’s evil ideas were so outrageous that they really couldn’t be considered. Security Office Article written by Cobalt Kid and RebootGoal of Security Officer to Guard Legion World from: external invasions from large forces or singular beings, internal threats from persons in the act of criminal behavior. StructureChief of Security - The Office of Security is headed by Cobalt Kid, the Chief of Security, which is a position he holds for life. It is not an elected position, and he cannot be removed by the LMB leader, the LMB Deputy Leader, or any member of the LMB or Legion World populace. The Chief of Security answers directly to the Security Committee on all matters that are too important for one sentient to decide. The Dark Stu Clause - This position acts a balance to LMB leader, should the LMB leader act against the LMB, Legion World, the very spirit of the LMB or in a criminal manner at all. Therefore, the LMB Leader has absolutely no official power over the Chief of Security in security matters . However, it is LMB protocol for the Chief of Security to adhere to the rulings of the LMB leader in all other matters, and to defer to the LMB leader’s judgment when there is a crisis on Legion World involving the LMB at large. Addendum - Outside of Legion World, the Chief of Security has no official power in the chain of command. Addendum 2 - In case of emergencies, the Chief of Security can act on his own accord without going to the Security Committee to ensure his job is done in a timely matter. He is expected to act within the limits of his job and to not over step his bounds. Examples of when to do this: Royal Inquisitor kills Giant Squid, StuBots attack Legion World, the Red Bee buries someone alive, etc. Security Staff1. It is entirely up the Chief of Security to form his staff as he sees fit. 2. Space Ranger shall act as the Deputy Chief of Security, second only to Cobalt Kid, and shall assume his responsibilities as the chain of command dictates. 3. Matlock shall act as the Senior Security Officer, second in rank only to Cobalt Kid and Space Ranger, and shall assume their responsibilities as the chain of command dictates. 4. The Chief of Security may maintain two operatives at all times that remain a secret to Legion World and the LMB at large. Security CommitteeA Security Committee will oversee all major operations of the Office of Security, to ensure that the Chief of Security uses his power wisely and has balances against his control. This would include decisions to arrest and prosecute fellow LMBers and use his Security powers outside of Legion World (re: continue an investigation that leaves the Legion World premises). Further, any Security initiative involving the majority of the active LMB or Legion World population must have committee approval. Committee MembershipOnce on this Committee, these members are on the committee for duration of their own discretion. - This is not an elected committee, as election focuses will be on the LMB leader and Deputy Leader.
- This is not an appointed committee, as the power split between the LMB Leader and the Security Office is a central theme of the Office itself.
- If a member decides to retire from the Committee, the remaining members shall vote and appoint a new LMB representative.
- A member of the committee may be replaced if they miss 5 or more Security Committee meetings in a period of 150 days. This is entirely up to the other members of the Security Committee.
- Any member of this Committee who is elected LMB Leader shall lose their place on the Committee for the duration of their term.
- The LMBP Deputy Leader is included, which thus creates a connection between the LMB leadership and the office of security. Thus, all the above criteria do not apply to the LMB Deputy Leader here.
This committee shall include the three ranking Security Officers, with the Chief of Security as Chair. It includes: Cobalt Kid, Chairman, position held for life Space Ranger Matlock Reboot Lightning Lad (or another Legion World Founder) The Current LMBP Deputy Leader Emergency Alternates: Invisible Brainiac and Fat Cramer. note- Cobalt Kid, as Chairman only votes when there is need for a tie-breakerRationale First, Reboot and Cobalt Kid’s opinions differ so greatly, and have done so publicly for so long, that there is no doubt that both can serve to temper the others extreme positions. Reboot’s involvement lends credibility to any large security initiatives. Lightning Lad, as a founder of Legion World, brings another important perspective to Security matters occurring there. The LMBP Deputy Leader ensures a strong relationship with the LMBP Leadership. Psyonia ProtocolsBasically, if the Security Chief and/or Security Office are deemed to be unable to perform their duties (i.e. - gone insane and stuff), Crujectra and Mykel of Psyonia (the LMBers known as Spellbinder and Crusader) will use their touchstones to channel the psionic might of the planet Psyonia (as seen in the Shadowspell OneVision ) and telepathically subdue Cobalt Kid and any member of the Security Staff seemed dangerous or incapable of performing their sworn duties. this section written by Princess Crujectra Chip in Head TechnologyAs an aside, Reboot and Cobalt Kid have come to a formal understanding. The ‘Chip in Head’ technology, created by the Royal Inquisitor and the Red Bee, but recently has been confiscated by the Office of Security for other uses. This agreement states that all ‘Chip in Head’ technology is to be destroyed and the Office of Security shall no longer use it to monitor potential enemies of Legion World and the LMB. This will help further the cause of a mutually agreeable Cobalt Kid/Reboot alliance in helping reshape the Office of Security. Other LMB Business discussed- LMB Judicial system – This became a topic of discussion for a time. Traditionally, the LMB Judicial System has been run by (1) the LMBP Leader and Deputy Leader or (2) the LMBP Founders or (3) Quislet, Esq., the chief LMB magistrate on Legion World. However, no conclusive solution was given before the abolishment of the convention. Note, that this refers to the LMB Judicial System, not Legion World’s Judicial System.
- LMB Oath of Allegiance – One of the most controversial topics was the LMB Oath of Allegiance, which caused some LMBers to infer that the constitutional convention had gone to far in demanding things from the membership. This was the main evidence the faction against the constitution used to encourage the abolishment of the convention.
- Punishment of Traitors and subversive criminals on Legion World. – Also unresolved before the abolishment of the convention, there was some talk on reforming the system of punishment for criminals and traitors, since the normal method is to let them rot in prison on Takron-Galtos (there is no death penalty on Legion World or among the LMBP).
- Legion World Military – The Legion World military, traditionally the armies of the Triumvirate, became a heated topic of discussion, especially among the Triumvirate’s largest critics, such as Reboot. However, given that the armies of the Triumvirs traditionally had allegiance to the Triumvirs themselves and not Legion World, the Triumvirs played this topic down and attempted to eliminate it as a piece of LMB business, on the grounds that it was a Legion World issue, not an LMB issue. This ultimately led some LMBers, such as Cobalt Kid, to shift his stance to one more accepting of the notion of cancelling the constitutional convention.
- The LMB Avengers – An idea by Kid Prime to have an active squad of about (7) LMBers to defend Legion World and enforce LMB justice in the UP, this was meant with mixed reactions when the convention came to a close.
The Disappearance of VaralentAs the convention continued underway and a plethora of craziness occurred both within the confines of the convention and outside on the streets of Legion World, one event suddenly occurred which spurred on the eventual halt of the convention and the start of one of the LMB’s most trying times, LMB Infinite Crisis. Varalent, longtime LMBer and often seen as the perfect ‘LMB/Legion World Senator’, was in the middle of a speech when suddenly, he disappeared before the eyes of the LMB! Though it happened quickly, it was apparent that Vee did not leave on his own accord and was aware that something sinister was happening to him. The End of the ConventionThroughout the convention there were those among the LMB who believed there should not be a convention at all, using the argument that the LMB has always been a more loose-knit group fundamentally opposed to structure and this would serve to limit it. However, many argued that the right wording could ensure the spirit of the LMB would not be hindered by the constitution. As the convention continued, however, the broaching the topics of an LMB Oath of Allegiance caused more LMBers to consider abandoning the constitution. Combined with hot topics such as LMB Avengers, which many opposed, and reform on the Triumvir’s armies despite the Triumvirs believing this should not be a topic of conversation, caused many to suddenly begin switching sides, aligning with the group opposed to the convention. When Infinite Crisis caused an immediate halt to the proceedings, the convention was suspended for a time, but then resumed thereafter. However, given the recent trying times of the Infinite Crisis, many did not have the same enthusiasm. When a significant number of citizens attempted to have the entire convention started again while throwing out all the work that had previously been done, many prominent LMBers then shifted their allegiance to the side that ended the constitution and the convention was then ended. Therefore, all of the articles that were discussed were never ratified and therefore did not officially exist any longer. So there is no legal basis to assume that anything done in the convention is LMB law or can be used as a basis for argument. However, what was accomplished was the creation of a voting system and guidelines on the power of the LMBP leader that was complete and highly efficient. Though the convention itself had ended the constitution was abandoned as a entity, there were still a large faction of LMBers that wanted to renew the elections of leaders, and they now had the means to process such a function. They thus let the topic lie as sentiment about it faded, and knew they could return to it at the opportune time with the means they had created at the convention.

Year Seven: The All-New, All-Different LMBP Part VII: The New Election Process and Leadership Powers
As previously mentioned, the Constitutional Convention drew to a close after Infinite Crisis and was largely abolished so that no constitution was ratified. However, the great success of the convention was the creation of new guidelines on how to elect a new LMB leader (aka a voting process) and what the powers of the LMBP Leader should be.
Immediately, at the start of the Convention, many LMBers (specifically Cobalt Kid and Eryk Davis Ester) planned to use this convention to restore the LMB Elections and Leadership and develop a way to make the elections fair and generally pleasing to all parties. At first the reformers involved were Cobalt Kid, Eryk Davis Ester, Abin Quank, Spellbinder and Loser Lad, though quickly it became a topic that all were interested in and contributed to. Newcomers Disaster Boy and Caliente, along with even Tamper Lad, put their own stamp on it to make it the most widely considered aspect of the convention. Therefore, there is really no one name that can be attached to it, though some contributed very heavily to the creation of the new process.
The Election of the LMB Leader Article:
Ground Rules - One ID/Alt ID per Person is allowed to Run. - No Alt IDs are allowed to Vote (re: One ID/Alt ID per person is allowed to vote). - The Nomination Process shall be Public Self-nominations .
On the Leader being honest This is the role of the Deputy Leader. The Deputy leader could double-check and just ensure that there is no dishonesty going on. By making it an overt part of the process, there is no need for hard-feelings—“hey, that’s the Deputy Leader’s job, dude!”.
Process A specific alt ID, designed solely to run elections, is to be created. It shall be called “The Election Tyrant” (tribute to old Loser Lad Alt ID on DCMBs). The password is given to the Leader and Deputy Leader. The votes are sent in and tabulated. The PMs are all then subsequently erased. The leader sends on the password to the new leader and new deputy leader. They then change the password so the old leader and deputy leader no longer have it.
Why no Polls and what about Alts Well, the two people in charge (Leader and Deputy Leader) would see who were sending them the PM's for starters. This is directly the reason we cannot use the polling system. Then those two would have to consider if any were alts. Various LMBers can help, as we have a solid idea of who many of the alts are on LW.
Third Permanent Monitor A third monitor, the Spellbinder/Crujectra would also serve in the election process. Cru is a founder on LW, a longtime respected member of the LMB (from day 1, which was six years ago), and has a wide knowledge of who the alts are. Plus, Cru has been leader twice before, and has expressed that there is no longer a desire for her to run for leader again. Spellbinder would be a permanent third monitor for future elections, on the premise that she never runs again. Any real questions on an alt may then fall to her as we have a definitive way to find them if we must.
What if a PM is deleted from the Alt’s mailbox? Ah, here is the final part of the plan: A thread is created by the leader about the election. Whenever any LMBer votes (re: sending a PM to the Alt), they post in the thread saying “Hey, I voted for leader”. This allows the Deputy Leader and Crujectra to know exactly who has voted. Thus, if by some chance in hell a PM was deleted from the Alt’s mailbox, the Deputy and Cru would know, b/c they’d have a list of who voted right in front of them.
Election Sub-Clauses The following threads to be started by election administrators 1. Election Announcement, Procedures, and Information thread 2. Debate Thread (maybe should instead be started by LMB Enquirer or other media source?) 3. Election Discussion/Endorsement Thread
+ Other Threads to be used for Campaigning 1. Each candidate is permitted one official campaign thread, started by themselves 2. The Shoutbox and signatures (in good taste and to a certain degree) are allowed for campaigning purposes. 3. Various ‘franchise threads’ can be used to discuss the election and campaigns, if the creator of the establishment allows it.
The guidelines shall be enforced by those monitoring the elections, and spillover into other threads shall be stopped.
The new leader and deputy leader are to be announced but post-counts and the actual votes shall not be disclosed. At the end of the election, the PM Box of the Election Tyrant shall be deleted and the password shall be given to the new leader and deputy leader, and subsequently changed.
The Leadership Term - No member can serve as leader for consecutive terms. - Each leadership term shall be (4) months.

LMB: Infinite Crisis Part I: Real History – The Enormity of the Event
At the close of August, as the LMB Constitutional Convention was heating up and the LMB activity on Legion World was hitting a point that hadn’t been seen in quite awhile, storylines began to shift in a different direction that at first happened so naturally that the enormity of the event that was to come appeared to snowball completely by surprise.
With the disappearance by Varalent, and then the appearance of a few new threads, there was a sense that another LMB role-playing storyline was at the verge of unleashing itself, though, like last time, there was no guiding hand at the start. However, given the tremendous amount of activity on the MMB in LMB-related activity, and the sheer number of posters posting at that time, it quickly blossomed into an event that was attempting to tackle the most wide-screen and cosmic of themes. The thread ‘The Monitor’s Ship’ quickly set-up the notion that this was an even on par with ‘Crisis on Infinite Earths’, and then the subsequent death of the Emerald Empress, which appeared relatively early on, came as such a shock—indeed, the Empress was literally one of the LMBers that had most characterized the ‘LMB on Legion World’—that there was a sense that ‘this was it’, that something had arrived.
From then on, from about (roughly) September 7, 2005 all the way to around November 7, 2005, LMB: Infinite Crisis raged through the MMB on Legion World, and became an all-encompassing event. No less than 25-30 new threads were started for it, in addition to the crossing over into other long-standing threads, such as the Security Office and LMBP Plaza. It became so prevalent, that MMB Moderators began questioning if there should be a limited number of threads that were IC-related, and from then on, all IC threads had the title ‘Infinite Crisis:” put in front of them, a tradition that continued thereafter for all major LMB role-playing events (indeed, having such a designation now implies what is defined as ‘major’).
What influenced the explosion of involvement in Infinite Crisis was a variety of factors. First, there was a heavy influence of new blood in the LMB that was actively developing their characters and storylines on the MMB. “The Good, the Dark and the Dead” Saga was still relatively fresh and references to it were quick to come, as it was generally looked at with great nostalgia. Thus, there was a sense that these posters wanted to make a role-play of their own. There was also many posters who were largely inactive during GDD that had returned for the Convention, and they too, many still nostalgic for the glory of the Dark Stu Saga, wanted to have another one.
The heaviest influence, however, was undoubtedly the announcement of DC’s own Infinite Crisis series, which was finally announced in the late Summer/early Autumn months of 2005. Funny enough, no one knew at this point what DC’s Infinite Crisis series would be about, so there would be no inclusion of Superboy Prime or Alexander Luthor in the LMB’s IC. This was simply because LMB: IC wrapped up well before DC’s Infinite Crisis even began. What was important was the enthusiasm and inspiration that DC’s announcement’s concerning their Infinite Crisis series created, and how it inspired LMBers to do a crossover event of their own (some might even argue that not knowing what would happen in DC’s Infinite Crisis may have ensured no posters would be disappointed to the point where they might not want to be involved). The notion of DC’s influence is most apparent when you see how LMB: IC itself played out. At first, there was the initial threads, but later, when it became apparent wehre this series was going, there were four distinct threads that led all LMB characters to their final destination, and they were all based on the DC mini-series that were leading up to Infinite Crisis. Thus, the LMB had ‘Gay of Vengeance’ (based on Day of Vengeance), ‘The Ggrrgg/Psyonia War’ (Rann/Thannager War), ‘The Dalek Project’ (Omen Project) and ‘Villains United’ (Villains United). In addition to a specific thread to keep track of everyone (LMB Command Center) and other threads that developed on the side, all of these were funneled into the main thread (Infinite Crisis).
In the beginning, there was an initial series of threads that began to develop ideas that were relatively fresh and raw, but as it progressed, LMB: Infinite Crisis developed a trait that was also different, in that there was definitely a sense of editorial influence from certain posters who had a larger sense of what was happening to the story at large, as pieces began to connect. Once it became apparent that this would be similar to DC’s Crisis on Infinite Earths and what the general assumption of the upcoming Infinite Crisis event would be, it became easier to connect the dots and put the LMB’s own trademark stamp on the event, so that a few twists and turns could remain. This, of course, became a learning process, as there were bumps in the road that were caused by ‘editorial influence’ relying too much on posters that could not be readily available to move the saga to the next stage, teaching the lesson that would be needed for the future, that no one poster can guide an event since real-life comes too fast to tell who will be around. However, this also caused some very positive and definitely ‘cool’ things to happen. For example, during the end of October, 2005, there was a major Comic-con in Boston, MA, which is a very central spot to many LMBers. Thus, there were (13) LMBers that attended that con (as LMBers and Legion Worlders have been apt to do) and they were able to have dinner together, hang around at the con, etc., and all the usual things that such meetings produce. One interesting thing directly relating to LMB: Infinite Crisis, however, was that it was known before hand that Varalent, Abin Quank, Cobalt Kid, and a whole number of other LMBers would be available to figure out exactly how Infintie Crisis could possibly end, since at the time, it was relatively unknown. So the first ever LMB Editorial Retreat took place in Boston in Oct. 2005, as the ending to LMB Infinite Crisis was hashed out, and the fates of LMBers, villains and supporting characters were decided over Chinese food. If an LMB author felt creative before, they now felt like an editor-in-chief!
At November 7, 2005, the event officially came to a close, and its telling that so many posters were both relieved and melancholy afterwards, feeling that they really immersed themselves in it. Many posters beyond the traditional role-players had taken an active role, and encouraged the topics to be locked thereafter, to preserve what was within the threads.

LMB: Infinite Crisis Part II: Infinite Crisis: Preludes & NocturnesIn Continuity – please note, the next few sections will deal with the in-continuity events that happened to the LMB during Infinite Crisis.Weeks earlier, the LMB are joined by Continuity Cop, an-interdimensional traveler whose job is to monitor timelines and continuity lines to maintain their integrity. She joins the LMB, aware that the timeline is weakening greatly and that a great threat may be on the rise. At first she does not speak of what she senses. The continued lack of an LMB leader makes things harder to coordinate among the LMB, including communications with the Office of Security and LMB membership at large. At this point, the LMB reservist known as Grendel appears to them. Saying little, his presence alone later tells the LMB that their worst fears were confirmed. For Grendel only appears in the most dire of times for the LMB, when the universe is in the most dire peril. The act of appearing speaks volumes. The Search for VaralentDuring the LMB Constitutional Convention, the LMB are shocked when stalwart member of the LMB, Varalent, suddenly disappears before their very eyes! Calling out to them in horror, they immediately sense that he is being taken against his own will. As the Convention rages on, Cobalt Kid exits its halls and calls not only the Security Office, but any LMB volunteers in general, to do what they can to find Vee. Frio, Queen Connie, Eryk Davis Ester, Faraway Lad, Outdoor Miner, Kid Marvel and Quislet Esq. come to help. Soon, it becomes clear that he is no longer on Legion World—and can be anywhere in the universe. An odd thing begins to occur with Quislet, Esq., as he begins to grow slightly. Not noticed immediately, the effects are very gradual and only inches at a time. Soon, however, he noticeably becomes much taller. Though Cobalt Kid and Frio are helping search for Vee, another confrontation occurs at the Security Office between Luna, Space Ranger, Tamper Lad and Caliente. Queen Connie scolds them all for their lack of searching, prompting Space Ranger and Caliente to join in. Luna and Tamper Lad ignore the scolding. Semi-Transparent Fellow worries greatly about the disappearance of his paramour. The Emerald Empress, long-time patron of SHAKES, makes a promise to him that she’ll find Vee. Reboot, noticing Quislet’s growth, attempts to shrink him back to normal size. Though all expect this should solve the problem, it does not work. Cobalt Kid questions the Royal Inquisitor, who was granted a temporary leave on Takron-Galtos to visit his lawyer, Quislet. Though Cobalt does not trust the Royal Inquisitor, the Inquisitor appears to be innocent, and truly in love with Quislet. The Emerald Empress, realizing that Vee is not on Legion World, uses her Emerald Eye to track him, and enters orbit, traveling through space. Matlock combs the streets of Legion World, while Invisible Brainiac visits neighboring solar systems and planets, including Weber’s World. Cobalt Kid travels to Earth-4. None of these searches work. Rockhopper Lad joins in on the search, asking his Pyngwyn cousins to send him word if they hear anything in the UP. Harbinger also joins in on the search. The Morality League of QwardWith the LMB at large searching for Vee and the Constitutional Convention raging on, Abin Quank fails to check in for a series of days following mission in deep space as Green Lantern. When questioned about this, the reply is that Abin’s ring has been taken over by ‘The Morality League of Qward’ and that he has been incapacitated. A sickly ooze infects the technology that this message is sent to, as it becomes apparent that Qward is a place of immense evil. Tamper Lad and Reboot soon deduce that Qward is an alternate Earth in the anti-matter universe (once thought to be destroyed in the LMB’s year four). With the LMB getting more and more spread thing, Disaster Boy organizes a crew to visit Qward and attempt to rescue Abin. His reasons are more personal. For some time now he had been searching for his true origins, after being given false rumors and theories by Banshee and others. But the name Qward rings a bell within, and he believes he may somehow be connected. Thus, he organizes a virtual suicide mission with himself and Kid Vudoo to go to Qward 3026 where ‘good is evil and evil is good’. There, the search for Abin begins, as it becomes apparent that he is prisoner there, and the very negative nature of the universe if infecting his mind. On Qward, the Justice League of the 2000’s was actually the Injustice League, and the Legion has been replaced by an entity known as the Legion of Super-Villains. This LoSV believes they are heroes, and to ensure order, have taken over the world and created a ruthless dictatorship, including Cosmos King and Saturnyn Queen. Back on Legion World, during the search for Vee, the opening of the portal created by Disaster Boy and Kid Vudoo causes Cosmos King and Saturnyn Queen to enter Legion World, and immediately attack the Office of Security: Cobalt Kid, Space Ranger, Invisible Brainaic, Frio, Caliente, Tamper Lad and Luna are all caught up in the attack, before the two journey back to Qward. During this rescue mission, Disaster Boy learns that he is indeed from Qward, from an alternate future timeline, raised there in the most evil of galaxies, which is why his very nature is to cause disaster in a positive matter universe. His parents are the ruthless rulers, Cosmos King and Saturnyn Queen. Antagonism on Legion WorldWith Vee and Abin missing, and a host of LMBers off searching for them, Eryk Davis Ester and Spellbinder attempt to take hold of the LMB to ensure it can get its job done. However, once again, another LMBer goes missing, as Eryk Davis Ester mumbles the word ‘Jeepers’ at his amazement over all that’s happened, and suddenly disappears! His luck lord, realizing that luck will be needed if the LMB will survive the coming weeks, sends him across the galaxy to a mysterious place known as ‘The Monitor’s Ship’. Things suddenly go from bad to worse. A being known as Scarlet begins searching for the Red Bee, whom she believes is her father. Journeying to Takron-Galtos, Scarlet’s search alerts the entity known as Banshee, who had been an enemy on Legion World over the last few weeks to his presence. Banshee, believing that the Red Bee was her husband in another timeline, attacks Takron-Galtos . Scarlet and Banshee engage in a battle, and Banshee lets loose a scream that destroys equipment all over the robotic planetoid. The Red Bee’s cell walls begin to crack, and immediately Legion World’s most notorious criminal is able to slip through in bee-swarm form, and begins a horrendous killing spree on the guards of Takron-Galtos. With so many LMBers missing or off searching for Varalent, Cobalt Kid and a now-increasingly Giant Quislet Esq. are the only LMBers left available to respond. Cobalt Kid and Giant-Quis flies off to Takron-Galtos and immediately begin battling the Red Bee and Banshee separately. However, the LMBP Spectre, who still cries out for vengeance after the Red Bee’s killing spree on Legion World, rejoins the LMB for the first time in years, the blood-thirsty spirit of vengeance being too much. The LMBP Spectre immediately battles the two. Further, Reboot, who despite being distanced from LMB these days had been working with Cobalt on reforming the Security Office, also intervenes, having no love loss for the Bee after their battle months earlier. The Royal Inquisitor, also a prisoner, gets free, running to help his fiancé Quis in battling such powerful enemies. The Red Bee battles Reboot, but then implores the LMBP Spectre to protect him (per LMB code) because he believes Reboot intends to kill him (since he is no longer an LMBer). However, the Spectre, whose power is far too immense for any villain, wraps herself around the Red Bee and causes the Bee to relive every death he’s caused as the murdered soul experienced it and to feel the fear the Bee was so bent on inspiring—a punishment horrible, but curbed by the inner-spirit housing the Spectre wishing to no longer be so succumbing to vengeance. The LMBP Spectre, believing she is more than enough to handle the Red Bee, then turns to Cobalt Kid, and sensing he will be needed elsewhere, sends him away across the universe, sensing a black wind on Legion World meaning that an LMBer is destined to die, and hoping Cobalt Kid will be able to find out who and why. Cobalt Kid reappears on a place called ‘The Monitor’s Ship’. Reboot, Quis and the Royal Inquisitor beat the Banshee in battle as Scarlet escapes. The Red Bee, now immobile, though silently staring off into space and muttering to himself about revenge on the LMB, is brought to Earth by Quislet and imprisoned in the Security Office basement cells, with the hopes that his incapacitated state will keep him docile, given his danger. Following the damage done to Takron-Galtos, it remains uninhabitable. With the Red Bee at the Security Office, the only remaining prisoner is the Royal Inquisitor. Quislet asks permission to keep Roy on Legion World under his watchful eye and the eye of the LMB. Sensing that recent events are quickly spiraling out of control, Spellbinder acting as LMB de facto leader, agrees. However, Spellbinder begins trying to find a way to retrieve the now missing LMBers: Vee, Abin, Eryk, Cobie and others. She contacts her brother Crusader, and for the first time in many years, he returns to the active roster of LMBers. The Monitor’s ShipAs Eryk Davis Ester is transported across the universe by his luck lord, Cobalt Kid is also sent across space and time by the LMBP Spectre, both forces hoping that the sudden arrival of the two LMBers can hopefully alter events that are coming. Thus, the two LMBers arrive on The Monitor\'s Ship . The ship is unimaginably large, and the two find themselves able to look at monitors around the universe, many into the past and present. Many of these are focused on the LMB themselves, including what is happening on Legion World. Not far off, they see a man sitting on a chair, who says nothing, as the two take in all the monitors they see. The Death of the Emerald EmpressThe Emerald Empress continues searching through the universe for Varalent, entering a cold, dark, lonely corner of the galaxy. At last she comes to Star 69, the star referred to in LMB files from two years earlier for being a cosmic marvel. However, as she approaches it, a brilliant blue light shoots across the galaxy, as the Empress gets closer to Star 69, and piercing the Empress’ emerald aura with ease! At once, she knows she’s been attacked, and realizes that this is the end. Giving the Emerald Eye its final orders , she contemplates all that she’s done, and the retribution that she’s made for her past crimes. Calling out to Space Ranger in the end, she passes away .

LMB: Infinite Crisis Part III: Infinite Crisis: The Monitor’s Ship The Monitor’s ShipAboard the Monitor’s Ship, Cobalt Kid and Eryk Davis Ester continue to see into monitor’s showing what their LMB comrades are doing as various crisis are occurring. It is then that they see with great horror the fate of the Emerald Empress, and witness her silent death among the stars , which remains an image they keep with them to their dying days. The two are quickly overcome with sadness, and now attempt to reach the being in the chair, though a great deal of alien technology is in their way. Wishing that Crujectra were with him, Cobalt is amazed at the sudden appearance of Spellbinder and Crusader, who are teleported from Legion World, via miracle machine technology on the Monitor’s Ship. Further, Reboot, following his battling by Cobalt’s side on Takron-Galtos, is able to use Glitch to create a path to Cobalt’s location, and journeys to the ship, although he is unable to pierce its shielding. With Cobalt and Spellbinder’s help however, they are able to get him to join them. The Legion World Tesseract SystemStill looking for Varalent, Space Ranger, Invisible Brainiac, Queen Connie, and Frio search the Legion World Tesseract System . Calamity Monkey and Stoopid Cat join Queen Connie at her request, hoping that the Super-Pets will work better together than the humans. Hrun the Barbarian does as well, and once more, Stoopid Cat and Hrun the Barbarian are forced to work with one another, this time with the scolding eye of Queen Connie ensuring it is done. Hidden in the Tesseracts now for a brief period of time, the Daleks start to emerge (CONTINUED IN DALEK PROJECT), and a battle takes place between the Daleks an the LMBers, as the LMB is spread too thin for reinforcements. In the midst of battle, Invisible Brainiac takes charge, Hrun and Stoopid Cat work together and Frio proves herself in battle. Tamper Lad suddenly finds a dalek attached to him and visions of himself as dictator of Legion World enter his mind—but he is able to see through this, and realizes that it might not be what he wants on Legion World after all. Finally, it apepears that the LMBers have little chance of surviving as Faraway Lad, Caliente and Stealth arrive to rescue them and provide a way out. However, suddenly Frio and Caliente are attacked, and apparently are murdered in battle, their bodies reduced to ash! Tamper Lad, believing his true love, Caliente, is dead, is unable to comprehend what to do next, and Stealth and Faraway Lad are able to rescue him, though the three are separated from the rest. Leaping into a tesseract that has been screwed up because of the opening to Qward by Disaster Boy, Tamper Lad and Stealth find selves transported to Qward! However, Faraway Lad, because of his power, is suddenly sent elsewhere. The remaining LMBers and Super-Pets reemerge on Legion World, figuring out what to next with the Daleks… The Office of SecurityWith Legion World spread so thin and Cobalt Kid off-planet for days on end, the Office of Security is jointly run by Space Ranger and Invisible Brainiac and officially in a moment of crisis. Non-Security Officers such as the Ghost of Numf-El pinch in to help keep things running smoothly. Jailbait Lass, in constant contact with Cobalt Kid, begins working side by side with Invisible Brainiac (and there is some flirtation there), and as it becomes increasingly clear that Legion World is in a state of emergency, Invisible Brainiac opens up a LMB Temporary Command Center during the crisis, run by himself and Jailbait Lass, where all active LMBers check in on where they are, not just security officers. Thus, it is at this time that the Royal Inquisitor, now on Legion World for a time, finds himself alone in the Office of Security, which he once attempted to control by force during the Dark Stu Saga. However, he does what he can to pinch in, and he and Quislet Esq., who is continuing to grow up to 30 feet, and then an astonishing 40 feet, maintain a presence in the Office of Security. At this time, they notice that a series of riddles have been left throughout the office, as the Riddler first makes himself known on Legion World. Also, Everyday Girl, always hoping to help out the LMB, tries to honor her status as an LMBer by becoming more involved with the Office of Security, always the center point of her beloved Uncle, Space Ranger’s life. She too helps hold down the fort. The LMBP Temporary Command CenterInvisible Brianaic, now in command not only of the Office of Security but a field commander of the LMB-at large on Legion World, attempts to coordinate all LMB movement so the group can get a better idea of who is in the field and where they are, which they had been unable to do in their leaderless state. Jailbait Lass, on direct orders from Cobalt Kid, acts as his assistant taking on Codename: Oracle, and the two begin coordinating all LMB movements from this point forward, to form a more united front. Thus, The LMBP Temporary Command Center opens up to deal with the crisis that seems infinite in its realms of danger. Invisible Brainiac then splits himself into different personas (IB Red, IB Blue, IB Indigo, etc.) to deal with a variety of dangers. The Rainbow NecklacesWith the LMB spread-thin and so many missing, Invisible Brainiac takes up command of the Office of Security, only to find that on Avalon, a civil war has broken out over The Rainbow Necklaces , artifacts that could help Legion World during this crisis, or destroy it! Luna and the Weird Sisters, whose allegiance remains in question, begin to look, and Invisible Brainiac is forced to learn the truth to this mystery, bringing along with him Kent Shakespeare and Outdoor Miner. At last, its revealed that the Weird Sisters intentions, though heroic to their own minds, spells doom for Legion World, and its only through the intervention of old LMBer High Priestess Viviane and her Royal Family of Avalon that the Weird Sisters are defeated. However, Viviane tells Invisible Brainiac, Kent and Miner that the time and space distortions have weakened the spells that allowed Avalon to maintain a presence on Legion World for so long, and given the recent flourishing of Avalonian enemies on Legion World, she believes that perhaps its time to close the portal forever. Saddened by the permanent loss of their longtime ally, the LMBers wish High Priestess Viviane farewell, and at once, Avalon and Legion World are forever separated. Star 69Awakened by the trouble on Takron-Galtos, the soul of the LMBP Spectre cries out, as she feels the lifeforce of an LMBer drained, and senses the death of the Emerald Empress. She cries out in pain, and departs Legion World and journeys to Star 69 and recovers the burnt body of the Emerald Empress. Kissing it gently, she restores the corpse to its former beauty and returns it to Legion World for a proper burial. Crying out vengeance towards the one responsible, she leaves to investigate. However, Space Ranger, exiting the Tesseract system after his last battle becomes aware that Sarya of Venegar, perhaps the true love of his life on Legion World, has been killed. Hit brutally hard by this realization, he refuses to go into mourning and reaffirms his stance to protect Legion World during these times, though now the LMBers left on Legion World fear for him, as his drive comes close to pushing him over the edge as pain continues to pierce his heart. He at once leaves Legion World to find the Emerald Eye. Qward 3026As Abin, Disaster Boy and Kid Vudoo battle the LoSV and Cosmos King and Saturnyn Queen, they are suddenly joined by Stealth and Tamper Lad! The heroes are able to steal clothes, disguises and weapons, before the two LoSV leaders find them and a battle ensues. During the fray, the heroes battle back, and Tamper Lad surprise the LMB and even himself, as he shows off his heroism. At last, Disaster Boy is able to beat his parents, realizing that he may know his origins and regret them, but his past matters little compared to his future. As the heroes prepare to return, Abin puts his ring back on and through it senses the Empress’s final moments, realizing that his brother Space Ranger will be devastated. Using his ring and closing off the portal to the anti-matter universe, they rejoin their comrades on Legion World. Who is Kid Prime?Throughout the mysteries in Infinite Crisis, prominent LMBer Kid Prime finds himself less and less involved with the proceedings as his orgins come into question after a disturbing letter from Ma & Pa Prime , which reveals he was adopted! Questioning his origin, even learning of rumors that suggest he is the prodigy of evil or worse, decepticons, Kid Prime becomes more and more reclusive. It soon is up to the LMBer Enigma, known also as CJ Taylor, to remind him that questioning one self about who you are is more than where you came from, which CJ knows all too well, given his mysterious past involving Eryk Davis Ester, Lard Lad and rumors of being an alt ID of one of the Taylors. As Disaster Boy returns from his own mission with knowledge of his beginnings, CJ points out the similarities in their plight, and Dr. Mayavale suggests that its time for the LMBers to accept who they are and to once more except what the LMB is in this universe in order to combat forces to bent on changing that. The Return of the Red BeeWith the Office of Security largely abandoned except for a few remaining LMBers, as the LMB is spread thin not only on Legion World, but throughout the galaxy battling numerous threats, the Red Bee remains in the cells in the basement below, still in a cataonic state after the LMBP Spectre’s attack on him. During the crisis Lucien Lad passes by the Bee causing his heightened senses pick up the residue of Lucien Lad’s nostalgia power. Suddenly, The Red Bee begins to awaken —and soon he is joined by the Riddler, whose continued riddles (secretly threats) remained unanswered. The Riddler frees the Red Bee, and the two escape into the streets, but not before the Red Bee can add some more murders to his long list of crimes. The first LMBers to try and stop them are Giant-Quislet and the Royal Inquisitor, and the Red Bee uses this as an opportunity: he tells the Inquisitor that now is the time to rejoin the right side and fight against the LMB, when it seems they most likely will be victorious, or if not: then the Red Bee will kill Quislet Esq. He gives the Inquisitor some time to think about it, but the offer leaves Roy so stunned that he is unable to chase after the Bee or the Riddler. At Last: Varalent! On a Desolate Planet Orbiting Star 69 Vee appears, and is kept prisoner for days, though no one explains what they want. Queen Connie soon senses his presence back on Legion World. He is shocked when the Emerald Eye searches out the universe and finds him, following the Empress’ final orders to go to him. Space Ranger, ripping through the cosmos to follow the Eye’s trail, begins to get ever closer, and at last finds Varalent, ripping apart his prison. Polar Boy, up until now doing whatever he could to help, used his LMB flight ring to follow the Ranger’s trail and use his turbulence to catch up, and joins them. There, the two free Vee, as the Emerald Eye surprises them—by attaching himself to Varalent, thereby making him Emerald Vee! On Legion World, Pagan Lass, using her power to follow Faraway Lad to the Monitor’s Ship, alerts her husband Abin Quank (upon his return) that Space Ranger has gone missing in space after Sarya’s death. Abin thus returns days later and follows Space Ranger’s trail, to find Emerald Vee, Space Ranger and Polar Boy. The four, now tuned in to Pagan Lass’ destination, decide to follow them to the Monitor’s Ship. The Explosion of the Monitor’s Ship Faraway Lad, through a combination of a screwed-up tesseract system and his own powers, finds himself teleported with is LMB friends, and using magic to follow him, Pagan Lass joins them. Now with a host of LMBers, they attempt to get answers from the Monitor. They soon learn that the Monitor’s Ship itself is under attack, by the ‘lunaticks’, bugs that hatch into Daleks, not only on Legion World, but apparently here as well! A battle breaks out, as the Monitor rises and points to a screen, revealing the true enemy—only to be murdered by the daleks, as they destroy him, and begin eating away at the ship. The lunatick/daleks begin to bite away at the LMBers, giving them insight into other times, Earths and continuities, as they see the death of Flash, Supergirl, and others they’ve never met. Cobalt Kid sees an alternate reality were he in fact became a family man, retired from the LMB and raised his children—and lived happily. As the daleks overwhelm them, they are at least joined by Varalent, Space Ranger and Polar Boy, and at last able to defeat them, meeting the majordomo of the Monitor’s Ship, a being known as Bizarro-Computo, who is activated once the Monitor has died. Bizarro-Computo, whose line of talking is hard to comprehend, begins to explain that red skies are coming and all of time/space is in a flux—but more than that, continuity is in a flux. Bizarro-Computo begins to go haywire, suddenly spouting off information in binary code, and its obvious he’s been infected. Suddenly shadow-demons begin attacking the heroes, as Bizarro-Computo continues to malfunction. It begins to understand it is dying, but now is influenced by an outside source of all-too human emotions. Suddenly, it begins to change form, as Bizarro-Computo melts away and another being seems to be growing in its place. Laughing at the LMB, it waves its hand before any could make out who it is, and at last, the Monitor’s Ship explodes!!

LMB: Infinite Crisis Part IV: Infinite Crisis: Crisis Throughout the UniverseBack on Legion World, the skies begin to grow red. Cataclysmic weather begins erupting everywhere, as odd occurrences in reality begin. Daleks begin entering the streets, and now shadow-demons can be seen from time to time. Across the entire United Planets, and indeed beyond, these symptoms are occurring. Khundia, Earth, The Barbarian Hordes, the Dark Oval—all of them feel these effects. Asteroid orbiting Star 69Faraway Lad is able to teleport a large portion of LMBers to a nearby asteroid as the Monitor’s Ship explodes! A quick head-count reveals that Reboot is no longer with them, and neither is Eryk Davis Ester, so those remaining are: Cobalt Kid, Spellbinder, Crusader, Faraway Lad, Pagan Lass, Abin Quank, Space Ranger, Emerald Vee and Polar Boy. Outdoor Miner, the last available LMBer that could be spared to find the missing heroes, at last is able to find them, drawn by the explosion. Immediately, they see an armada of lunatick/dalek ships entering the universe, coming from the wormhole created by the explosion, using the solar energy of Star 69 to empower themselves—obviously, as part of a plan all along. Being closest to Bizarro-Computo, Cobalt Kid begins to suspect who may be responsible for all of these events, believing a larger force is responsible, who may have re-entered the plain via the majordomo. The Jectra Twins reveal a surprise secret, that they were able to absorb the knowledge passed down from the Monitor on our enemy and his plans, including his battles with past Earths and universes. Cobalt sees a message from Invisible Brainiac, and at once, he sees that Legion World has become overrun by villains and Avalon has left Legion World. However, now is the time for answers: Despite these threats, the main problem is the enemy at hand, who seems able to manipulate horrible cosmic forces without breaking a sweat and in fact, the forces at work here are beyond just one evil being but rather a whole onslaught of concepts and destruction. As Cobalt prepares to begin, Space Ranger, not willing to talk but rather to act, slips off silently and journeys back to Legion World, to do what he can to protect it. AnswersOn the Asteroid where Star 69 and the Monitor’s Ship once were, the gathered LMBers begin discussing the enemy at hand, and using the knowledge the Jectra’s attained from the Monitor via his psionic link to Crujectra, and his knowledge of LMB lore, Cobalt Kid begins to explain what the LMB is up against . All LMBers know about multiverse(s), parallel Earths, and alternate timelines because generally, that is part of being an LMBer. Though it gets confusing, and a little hard to keep track of, it's still LMB history, and it makes sense in its own unique way. But there are forces that can destroy all of that. The cosmic stage is so grand, that whole histories and continuities can be torn from existence. And in its place stands convoluted discrepancies and twists and misplaced timelines where things don't add up quite the way they should. You'd think the universe could correct itself, but it can't. And the legacy of these forces means years and years of more torn timelines and screwed up histories, and well...who knows where it could lead. This has happened before, in other Earths, and in other continuities. A force exists, a harbinger of doom that does exactly this. One such crisis created one single history out of many, and left a plethora of death, convolution and almost unmanageable after-effects. This being was called the Anti-Monitor. The Anti-Monitor, against every being that could stand against him, almost destroyed all that there was. He was beaten, but his legacy succeeded in a way, for all that was left was but a shadow of its former self. And years and decades of restoration and fixing things, guided by the fates that controlled the universe, only brought to light further problems. These problems are no mere side effect--they could potentially unravel all there was. A being such as the Monitor is a universal being, like the phoenix force. When a Monitor dies, his memories are transferred to a new being, somewhere across timelines and histories and continuities. So, when this Crisis' Anti-Monitor died, his memories were transferred to another. Sometimes it can take moments for the transfer of memories to happen, like Monitor to the Jectra twins... sometimes it can take years, even 1,000 years. This 'other' inherited these powers and this legacy. This legacy is one of utter destruction and dismemberment of our very sense of selves and sense of a greater, more complex universal storyline. And he is an enemy the LMB had known before, and have fought before. He is one of the greatest and most feared foes. And he has been reborn, from the energies of Star 69 and the Monitor’s Ship (and almost the Emerald Eye, which he tried for) with the full knowledge of exactly what power it is that he wields. That being has long been known as the Anti-Moderator. But now, at this time more powerful than ever, he is an amalgam of the LMB’s Anti-Moderator and the Anti-Monitor himself. As the LMBers prepare to journey back to Legion World, attempting to fix the Dalek Problem and save Legion World from the villains before taking the fight to the enemy, Cobalt Kid receives word that Ggrrgg and Psyonia are at war . Without much explanation to his LMB allies, Cobalt quickly leaves them, venturing to his Triumvirate armies to enter the war, causing many to think it’ll be on the side of Ggrrgg. Sensing the immediate danger, both Spellbinder and Crusader return to Psyonia. This suddenly leaves a void in the LMB, and its leadership (with Eryk missing too), and the de facto leader is suddenly named Emerald Vee. Vee, using the Eye, teleports the remaining LMBers back to Legion World. Reboot & the Rift in the Space/Time ContinuumIn order to short out the ship's shields and let people teleport in and out freely, Reboot turned himself into energy, and thus saved the lives of the LMBers. On the verge of absolute death, Reboot recalls Rift in the Space/Time Continuum reported at the start of these reality-warping events and in a last ditch effort teleports himself there. Soaking in as much energy s he can, he is able to pull himself back together enough for someone (who is a mystery) to trigger a full reformation, leaving him repowered and with a new costume. He begins making his return to Legion World, unsure of how long he was out. The Super-Pets Military Campaign HQA continuous flow of daleks/lunaticks begins to engorge the streets of Legion World, while the nefarious Red Bee and the Riddler also deal their fair share of damage. As the LMB continues to spread itself thin while a long list of members are off-planet and missing, Queen Connie, fresh fro her trouble in the Tesseract System, pro-actively calls the Super-Pets to rally to her side at the Super-Pet Military Campaign HQ to defend the streets of Legion World. This includes: Stoopid Cat who becomes the Tiger Avatar God, Calamity Monkey, Hyvvie the Wonder Beagle, Jinx as well as honorary members Hrun the Barbarian (Stoopid Cat’s staunch ally) and Legion Adventure Man. Lucien Lad’s Porcupine Infantry also joins under Connie’s leadership. Kid Vudoo, arriving from Qward, quickly becomes the coordinator with this group and Invisible Brainiac at the LMB Command Center. Two individuals who quickly make the list of potential suspects to round up are Penis-Eradicator Lad and Nads-Kicker Lass, who leave Legion World when they learn they may be questioned by this formidable force. Rockhopper Lad joins them with a royal guard of his Pyngwyn escort on Legion World, and they too join Connie. Soon, the group rejoins Invisible Brainiac at the Command Center. The LMBP Temporary Command CenterThe Command Center, run by Invisible Brainiac and his Oracle, Jailbait Lass, continue to coordinate all efforts on Legion World. LMBers from the Qward mission and the searches are now redistributed to deal with the mounting cataclysmic weather and assailants on Legion World. Lucien Lad, Dedman, Kid Marvel, Arachne and others arrive to help out in any way they can, when suddenly Emerald Vee returns with the remaining heroes in space, and alerts Invsibile Brainiac to the multitude of problems. IB remains the coordinating field commander while Emerald Vee assumes overall command and the LMB split into groups to deal with the problems. Tamper Lad, believing both Frio and Caliente are dead, prepares to retire to his undisclosed location, but gets a sudden urge to continue heroically in their stead, and notices when something seems off with Lucien Lad. In fact, Lucien Lad seems to be acting almost evil at times, and more so than his usual charming nefarious-ness. The Terrible Partnership that Almost Destroyed Legion WorldWhile all the other events were occurring, the Red Bee and the Riddler quickly began their plans, disrupting Legionnopolis and causing mayhem where they could while the LMB was spread so thin. Though the Riddler was more artistic in his crimes, the Red Bee did not hesitate to kill Legion World citizens at every change. Immediately, Space Ranger, stricken with grief over the Emerald Empress’ death, saw it as his responsibility to bring in the Red Bee, transferring his grief in a way that made him see the Bee as the murderer of the Empress himself. Using this to his advantage The Red Bee begins both making threats that he plans on kidnapping Everyday Girl, the youngest member of the LMBP, and the beloved niece of Space Ranger, and then taunting the LMB (and Space Ranger in particular) about the death of the Emerald Empress and supposed deaths of Caliente and Frio. Additionally, the Red Bee hits the very heart of Legion World, threatening to kill both Grendel and Thomas Fatsi , two beings very dear to certain LMBers. ElsewhereAs the LMB continues to spread itself thin, Eryk Davis Ester is notoriously missing from the gatherings, following the destruction of the Monitor’s Ship. He is Elsewhere , far off from his allies, stuck in a shadowy plane that burns his skin. Despite his ally Cobalt Kid trying to use his spiritual powers to contact him, Eryk remains alone, until he sees that he is prisoner of the true enemy! The Dalek ProjectThroughout the streets and skies of Legion World, the lunaticks begin to hatch into Daleks, snatching up citizens of Legion World and LMBers alike to exterminate them and drain them of all their energies. Faraway Lad, on the orders of Emerald Vee, heads up the command to put a stop to this intrusion (along with Kent Shakespeare, the Ghost of Numf-El and clones of Reboot sent to act in his place) and he is pleasantly surprised to be joined by Harbinger, who makes her return to the LMBP! As the Daleks begin to overwhelm, they fall back to the LMBP Temporary Command Center where they are joined by Invisible Brainiac and Rockhopper Lad, as well as a newly-refreshed Reboot, who enters the fray after spending time in the rift with re-energized powers. As the battle grows ever more deadly, it is Queen Connie and the assembled LMBP Super Pets who launch a military strike on the Daleks and the two forces begin to dismantle the never-ending stream of enemies. Finally, the Daleks are defeated, though Invisible Brainiac, in the heat of battle, is not able to see Jailbait Lass kidnapped by the Red Bee. As the LMBers and their allies finish the battle, Reboot alerts them to the fact that Space Ranger has fallen in battle. The Ggrrgg/Psyonia WarWith the LMBP faced with multi-front problems before they can focus on the main enemy at hand, a terrible blow is dealt to them when they learn that the planet Ggrrgg, Cobalt Kid’s home-planet, h... home-planet of Spellbinder and Crusader . This results in the sudden exodus of Cobalt Kid from the LMB and Legion World, as he quickly goes to summon his Triumvirate armies after a letter from his father, Marcus Desmonius, requests his help in leading the Ggrrggian war machine. Within the LMB and outside in the United Planets, speculation runs rampant as to whether Cobalt Kid is going to join in on the effort and protect his home-planet, to finally make amends for his long estrangement with. Spellbinder and Crusader (along with Maxx) also exit the LMB, journeying to Psyonia to protect the planet in the upcoming war. As the armies mobilize, Emerald Vee asked Abin Quank, per his role as Green Lantern of the UP, and Outdoor Miner, to enter the fray and attempt to bring peace so the larger problem at hand can be solved. As tensions mount and the war seems imminent, Cobalt Kid reveals to his most trusted general, Scipio Taltarus the story of his youth and how the problems with his estranged father began, which ultimately reveal the most horrible betrayal by Cobalt’s mother—and the events that never allowed them to bridge that gap before she was later killed. Meanwhile, Crujectra, unsure of what’s to come, prepares to enter Cobalt’s mind and turn it off if she has to, and learns something she never knew for certain—that Cobalt has fallen in love with her completely. The Ggrrggians soon enter Psyonian space, and Abin attempts to stop the war, when he is suddenly attacked by Cobalt Kid, which drags Outdoor Miner into and the three crash down on Psyonia. Once on Psyonia, Cobalt reveals that when Crujectra entered his mind she realized his plans, as Cobalt used his army to out-flank the Ggrrggians while they thought he was an ally and his Triumvirate Army and the Psyonian military have them surrounded and thus rout them in battle (and Cobalt saved face with his army by punching Abin). The plan, developed by Crusader, is the result of learning that both sides were being manipulated by agents of the same master: the Anti-Monitor. Cobalt and Crujectra embrace, and let there love be known to their allies and to Psyonia, much to the chagrin of the Jectra Royal Family, who harbor a small grudge against Cobalt Kid because of the actions of Ggrrgg. Its at this point, as they prepare to journey back to Legion World, that word comes in that Space Ranger has fallen in battle, and the LMBers quickly prepare to make their way home, hoping to console Abin as best they can as he comes to terms with the death of his older brother. Gay of VegeanceWith the LMB spread thinner than ever, Tamper Lad at last learns why Lucien Lad has been acting so oddly—when he begins to attack Legion World alongside the villains. At last he reveals he is not Lucien Lad, but Glamour Puss, the Lucien Lad of Earth-4, and he is more powerful than ever! Using the combined powers of Glamour Puss and Lucien Lad, he becomes Gay-lipso, and unleashes attacks across Legion World, including an assault on Founders Park , replacing the statues of the LMB and LW founders with those of the evil super-villains of Earth-4. Tamper Lad, Nova Girl and Dedman arrive to put a stop to this horrible Gay of Vengeance , only to learn the true extent of his power as he begins to seduce known other than The LMBP Spectre! As the Spectre apparently begins to fall under Gaylipso’s control, Pagan Lass and Kid Marvel join the battle, hoping magic-users can do some damage with Iron Rat (STU) missing for so long. At last the combined powers of the LMBers assembled are able to capture Gaylipso—only for the LMBP Spectre to free him! At last the Spectre reveals that her intentions are far too complex for the LMB to understand and that Gaylipso has a very important part to play in taking down the Anti-Monitor. Thus, she promises to hold him captive with her power, but in doing so it will effectively eliminate her from battle for a time. In the meantime, it is of the utmost importance to find Lucien Lad (the real one), who is being held prisoner on Earth-4 via a switch made earlier. However, many doubt the Spectre, unsure if they can believe her after her apparent seduction by Gaylipso. Thus, she wraps herself around Tamper Lad and uses her power to make him completely relaxed for the first time in his life, whispering to him that he must be her agent. He promises to be, and prepares to go to Earth-4 alone if need be, though not after accusations by Legion Adventure Man that both he and the Spectre are on the side of the villains. Villains UnitedAs the Red Bee and the Riddler continued to make threats against the LMB and drop clues to their plan of attack, they terrorized the citizens of Legion World while continuing to elude Space Ranger and other LMBers because of the Red Bee’s powers of non-detection. Soon, the Red Bee began another horrible murder-spree, all the while taunting the LMB (particularly Space Ranger) that he was planning to kidnap Everyday Girl. Unknown to the LMB, the two villains began calling out to other LMB enemies, hoping to create a group so large that it would bring the utmost terror possible to Legion World. First, he continued to blackmail the Royal Inquisitor, demanding that he join them or they would do everything possible to kill Quislet. Second, the two entered the The Giant-Squid Memorial Center for the Advancement of Alt ID Culture , the known location of Lucifer Lass, who had been staying at Legion World. Knowing full well that Lucifer Lass was one of the greatest villains to ever battle the LMB, the Red Bee attempted to lure her into the pact with himself and the Riddler. Though seen by Double-Header, a known Alt ID citizen of Legion World, the Red Bee beat and tortured the sentient, making him act as a venue of information on the threats of death. At last, Lucifer Lass began talks with the Bee, asking what he had to offer, to which the Bee replied access to the long-missing stolen stash of gender-reversal germs, a way back to her parallel universe, the location of the long-missing Lard Lad, and a pouch containing a mysterious secret (whether the Bee actually had all these things remains a mystery, but evidence leads one to assume he had the gender-reversal germs at least). Lucifer Lass seems to agree to the deal, although she herself appears to have a deadly secret—somehow involving both the missing Eryk Davis Ester and the Anti-Monitor. At last, using his powers of non-detection, the Red Bee takes advantage of a thinly spread LMB to capture their technology and he begins to assemble villains from all different eras of LMB history, as well as different Earths, different times and different galaxies. Quickly, they begin to scatter through Legion World, showing at last that the the villains are united . They immediately assault citizens of Legion World and LMBers alike, some even attacking Gaylipso ( note – crossover with Gay of Vengeance) unaware that the Red Bee sent them there to die. The Security Office, largely abandoned, is overrun, as villains storm in to battle a now 70’ Quislet Esq. and the Royal Inquisitor, who decides to fight alongside the LMB no matter what the cost, inspired by the death of the Emerald Empress. The Red Bee, seeing this, takes an opportunity to destroy the newly erected statue of the Emerald Empress , which sends Space Ranger into a rage the likes of which he’s never known! Space Ranger begins rounding up as many villains as possible, while Emerald Varalent himself leads a group of heroes against the villains, now joined by the long missing Icefyre and Kara, both returning to Legion World. Finally, using the threats of kidnapping Everyday Girl against the LMB, the Red Bee throws them off, so that he secretly kidnaps Jailbait Lass once more, just as he did in “The Good, the Dark and the Dead”. The Red Bee takes her to where the most villains have gathered and locks her in a refrigerator, symbolically showing how powerless the LMB are! Space Ranger immediately redoubles his efforts, eliminating as many possible to make his way to the Red Bee. Following him is his niece and best friend of Jailbait Lass, Everyday Girl. Finally, Space Ranger gets to the Bee and Riddler, completely exhausted, and battles them both. The Red Bee, fresh and rested, uses all his power to burn the Ranger’s skin, while the Riddler shoots him with a special lead bullet. Space Ranger continues to pound on the Red Bee’s face, but the Red Bee’s ooze continues to burn his skin so much that the pain is too much for any sentient heart to bare—and soon, the great hero Space Ranger, can stand no more…and he dies . The Red Bee and the Riddler begin to celebrate, drinking the Security Office celebratory wine (which they stole) as what’s left of the villains cheer. Entering the room, Everyday Girl suddenly surprises them as she claims her Uncle’s body, crying at his side, causing much laughter among the villains (though it is said that the Riddler at this point realized he couldn’t be the Red Bee’s partner if this would be part of it). In shock from the murder, Everyday Girl then gives them a shock, as she pulls out a pair of Modified 9mm Beretta VLK Pistols, and blasts the Red Bee’s knee-caps! Outside, Emerald Vee and Queen Connie’s Super Pets begin to march on the remaining villains, while Giant-Quis and the Royal Inquisitor rush inside to join Everyday Girl. The Red Bee, howling in pain, leaps at Everyday Girl, as she then shoots the Riddler, knocking him to the floor. As Everyday Girl reacts with both fear and determination, she is sickened to see the Red Bee grinning and screaming for Everyday Girl to give him her all—and she does by firing more rounds into his chest. At last, the Red Bee falls, but his final words are that he loves the LMB, and Everyday Girl in particular, as he then goes comatose. Soon, the villains are rounded up, but not before the heroes come to realize what this cost, as Space Ranger’s dead body lays before them. And unknown to the LMB, Lucifer Lass continues with her own plan, which never involved the other villains anyway, but rather, another partner—the Anti-Monitor.

LMB: Infinite Crisis Part V: Infinite Crisis: The Turning of the TideSpace Ranger’s FuneralAdmist the Crisis, as LMBers begin returning to Legion World and threats are stopped so the team can unite, Everyday Girl takes Space Ranger’s body and arranges the burial and funeral to begin. Pagan Lass joins her, as Abin continues to make his way home, and Everyday Girl begins the long ceremony, unknowingly giving the LMB and Legion World something to unite under, as they let their emotions of the last few weeks come out while mourning Space Ranger. Here, at last, Loser Lad and Iron Rat (STU) arrive back on Legion World to pitch in for the final battle, as do other LMBers. The Funeral of Space Ranger marks the turning of the tide, as the LMB prepare for a final battle. Eulogists include Everyday Girl, Emerald Vee, Semi-Transparent Fellow, and Cobalt Kid. Capitalism on Legion WorldDespite the ongoing crisis and impending threats from all directions, life on Legion World continued normally for its citizens when they were not in mortal peril. Being used to such cataclysmic events, business prospered like always, possibly even more so as thoughts of an impending armaggedeon led many consumers to spend what money they had saved. Thus, some citizens, like LMBer Kent Shakespeare, opened up some lucrative businesses, such as the LMB Infinite Crisis Gift Shop . Note – this thread here gives a very good idea at just how prevalent LMB Infinite Crisis was on Legion World’s MMB.Infinite Crisis on Earth-4Following the direction of the LMBP Spectre, Tamper Lad organized a mission to Earth-4 to find the Earth-1 Lucien Lad, who was being held prisoner there, and is joined by Rockhopper Lad, Nova Girl and Legion Adventure Man. Also involved is Faraway Lad, who is the LMBer that that has the power to travel (or send others) between the alternate realities. There they learn that SMB is also facing a crisis, and quickly find themselves at odds with a group of super-villains bent on overtaking Earth-4! They are joined by the SMB Junior Auxiliary, which includes Infra-Red Lass, Closeted Boy, Legion Adventure Boy and Hyper-Dense Kid, who help them navigate this alternate Earth they’ve never been too. Here, Rockhopper Lad gets to know Closeted Boy better, learning his name is Blaine Fey, and the two become close, brought together by the crisis at hand. Soon, Rockhopper Lad learns that the Rockhopper Lad of Earth-4 is actually a murderous tyrant known as the Evil Emperor Penguin. Tamper Lad deduces that Rockhopper Lad was indeed the son of the Emperor Pyngwyn of their own universe and a prince. Also still knee-deep in the search for Lucien Lad, Tamper Lad learns who is Earth-4 counterpart is, and it is known other than the Stalker, a villain that once fought the SMB and LMB combined alongside the Trumpeter. The heroes, joined by some of the SMB, including UP President Numf-El, battle back the villainous forces led by the Evil Emperor Penguin and the Stalker, finally able to rescue Lucien Lad from his imprisonment, as the Earth-4 villains were working hand in hand with Glamour Puss. At last, as they prepare to leave Earth-4 with Lucien Lad, Rockhopper Lad and Blaine Fey share a kiss and realize that throughout all this epic danger and crisis, they’ve found love—and Blaine Fey changes his name from Closeted Boy to Openly Gay Lad! Wishing his new found love goodbye, Rockhopper Lad joins Tamper Lad, Nova Girl, LAM and Lucien Lad as they return to Earth-1 (Legion World) for the final showdown with the Anti-Monitor. NOTE – Rocky and Tamper, please feel free to give me some thoughts on this summary and if there’s some other tidbits I can add that I may have left out. I tried to get in as much of the general plot points as possible.Legion Adventure Man – Victim of Infinite CrisisAs the events of Infinite Crisis played out, it became increasingly odd that Legion Adventure Man, new addition to the LMB, appeared to be in every place at once, fighting the good fight alongside all of the LMBers. Piecing it together at the Command Center, Invisible Brainiac alerted the LMB, only to learn that LAM had become a victim of this infinite crisis , his continuity so screwed up by the tears in the universal fabric that it continued to stretch him apart until he disappeared completely! The End of Kid PrimeFollowing a series of doubts and questions earlier in the crisis about his origins, Kid Prime retired to his famous room, where suddenly he began to envelope himself in an odd cocoon-like state. Soon, it appeared that he too was being effected by the crisis, and suddenly, the LMB appeared to witness the death of Kid Prime! However, once more, a new cocoon emerged, the contents within unknown, though the LMB hoped it would be some form of their beloved ally, bringing it with them to the command center. I’m Too Pretty to Die!!!Throughout the entire Infinite Crisis, one LMBer was conspicuously absent, namely Lash Lad, most beloved of all the LMB and one of the natural leaders of the group. Hiding out in a mysterious bunker, Lash Lad kept his distance from events without giving a reason why, claiming he was too tired and was far too pretty to die. Those who knew him well, such as Cobalt Kid and Eryk Davis Ester, seemed to think there was nothing wrong with this, to the chagrin of other LMBers. Some speculated that perhaps this was because, if in theory, he still maintained the retcon powers, his very existence and use of them could somehow worsen the crisis or effect things in a way that could be worse than the crisis itself. Though that remained only a theory, Lash Lad was soon joined by Disaster Boy, who was powerless following his trip to Qward and felt like he was doing very little. There, Disaster Boy witnessed as Lash Lad used some mysterious force to find the lost twins Caliente and Frio, who had used a combination of their powers to survive the onslaught in the tesseract system, but in doing so fell into a coma-like state. Waking them up, Lash Lad allowed both twins to rejoin the fight against the Anti-Monitor, though Caliente elected to remain with Lash Lad and Disaster Boy for a time, who are later joined by LMB ally Gay Green Giant and Lad Boy. Rallying the LMBP ForcesThe LMB Command Center continued to keep track of monitoring which LMBers were on various missions, as seen here , here and here . With LMBers returning from space and various missions, as well as the returns of various LMBers to combat the Daleks, battle the villains, and lastly, to attend Space Ranger’s funeral, they began to assemble at the LMB Command Center to bring the fight to the Anti-Monitor. This was done under the De Facto Leadership of Emerald Vee and Invisible Brainiac (effectively de facto Deputy leader), though this was unofficial and more implied than ever mentioned. While the hurt and wounded were given aid, the LMB welcomed back to their ranks Harbinger, STU, Loser Lad, Icefyre, Kara, Lad Boy, Arachne, Super Lad Kid and a host of others. Also fighting on Legion World and ensuring the citizen’s safety was newly returned Suddely Seymour, Fat Cramer, Poverty Lad, Space Tart, Mattropolis, Yellow Kid and Legion World Founders Nightcrawler, Lightning Lad and Saturn Girl. One new entity that found them was Amora the Enchantress, who via the weakening universal forces holding the alternate Earths and timelines together, was somehow pulled from Earth-3 ( note – the Marvel universe) and placed Legion World. Immediately, she wished to join her new friends and allies in glorious combat. Preparing to go to battle, with only a few LMBers still missing (most notably Eryk Davis Ester), Emerald Vee Called the Roll .

LMB: Infinite Crisis Part VI: Infinite Crisis: The FinaleElsewhereEryk Davis Ester, still elsewhere , remains in the presence of the evil beyond all of the crisis, the combined entities of the LMB’s Anti-Moderator, and the Anti-Monitor. Taunted by the enemy, Eryk uses his powers to cause the desolate structure to begin to shake and collapse, exhausting himself to the point of passing out—only to be awakened by Lucifer Lass! Always having an odd connection and bond to Lucifer Lass, he’s surprised when she begins to take care of him and comfort him, revealing that she has indeed been working with the Anti-Monitor via a deal they struck. With a small cadre of villains serving as her personal guard, she is working for the safety of my home universe and a select few inhabitants of your universe such as Eryk, which the Anti-Monitor has promised her in return for the Hypertime Bar. Eryk, being one of the few sentients that understands what this means, begs her not to, but she plans to anyway, only to learn that the Anti-Monitor plans on betraying her anyway, to use the Hypertime Bar to consume all universes. Learning this, Lucifer Lass uses her powers to destroy the Anti-Monitor’s equipment, and sends Eryk Davis Ester back to his LMB friends, who are on their way to the final battle with the great enemy, so that he can help destroy him. Infinite CrisisAt last, the LMB launched their assault on the Anti-Monitor, seeing at once the red skies covering every corner of Legion World, and all throughout the universe similar chaotic cosmic weather storms. As the LMB does what it can to se the weather right, Eryk Davis Ester is suddenly transported to them, and after Cobalt Kid heals him, he is able to reveal what Lucifer Lass told him about the Anti-Monitor’s plans regarding the Hypertime Bar. Previously, the Anti-Monitor’s presence had infested the Anti-Moderator, giving him power beyond imagination, with the plans to not only destroy realities and continuities, but to muddle them so greatly that there would be no chance to restore them to their former glory—not without creating such striking inconsistencies that there would be an eternal universal immune system bent on ‘fixing’ things. However, the Hypertime Bar exists outside of reality and continuity—and in fact, all things that happen there become etched in cannon of all that is and cannot be reversed. To die there means there would be no resurrections, no changes, no retcons. It becomes permanent and is beyond all other things. For the Anti-Monitor to gain control of it—and tot destroy it—means that he would have complete control over the forces that bend and altar realities and continuities, and would therefore become the true, one creator of all that is. It is here that the LMBP Spectre reveals her plan: the two Luciens, Gay-lipso and Lucien Lad now combined into one. Only the combined powers of glam and nostalgia can hinder these forces of creative destruction from destroying all, while the rest of the LMBP confronts the enemy The essence of the Spectre had fought the Anti-Monitor before and lost, in a continuity long forgotten. However, the Luciens and the Spectre can keep him at bay, while a small force of LMBers stays to protect them from the shadow demons. At last, the LMBP move forward to battle the Anti-Monitor, although he continues to assault them with the armies of past evils, causing them to fight there way to him at every step. All LMBers from all eras continue there assault, while a guard fights off the shadow-demons trying to get to the Spectre and the Lucien Lads. Kid Prime finally emerges from his cocoon, as the all-new Kid Prime, complete with new powers and a new look, and quickly rejoins the battle. A small squad of LMBers, led by Vee, Eryk and Cobalt, attempt to head off the Anti-Monitor at the Hypertime Bar, fully aware that should anything happen to them there, they will be forever changed without hope of changing back. Faraway Lad, Outdoor Miner and Invisible Brainiac join them. They find Captain Lightbulb, who long ago had parts of the Hypertime Bar woven into his speedo, and through him, are able to journey at last to the Hypertime Bar by ripping a temporary hole in the space/time fabric by Faraway trying to move the group faraway while Outdoor Miner simultaneously brought them back. During the battle, Disaster Boy learns that the reason his powers have been missing is that the Anti-Monitor had stolen them since his return to use for his assaults upon the cosmic weather. Using his willpower as best he can, Disaster Boy begins to pull them back, but with his concentration lost, he finds himself sucked into the Hypertime Bar as well. At the Hypertime Bar, the LMB find themselves face to face with multiple Faraway Lads and Outdoor Miners, as realities begin to merge. As an insult to the LMB's spirit, a secondary plot is created to make a "World Without Beer" though this was resolved by using the Hypertime Bar's ever-replenishing stock to restore beer to the world. During the melee, as alternate versions of LMBers continued to appear, Everyday Girl experiences visits by multiple fathers across multiple worlds, but then is shocked to learn that she perhaps is the daughter…of Hrun the Barbarian! Meanwhile, Emerald Vee stays out of the fray, and is joined by the Silver Sorceress and Sapphire Seeress, the only two alternate versions of the Emerald Empress in existence. However, once more, the LMBers find themselves not doing anything, but succumbing to the curiosities of the alternate worlds and basking in the confusion of it all. At last, Lucifer Lass arrives as well, alerting the LMBers that this is all part of the Anti-Monitor’s plan—to make things so confusing that the LMB are unable to pro-actively do anything about it! Remembering their credo, Cobalt Kid at last begins to put all the chaos into an orderly outline, so that they can move forward. Removing the old view of the multiverse, the LMB piece together that multiverse itself is too limited a concept. Earth-2, the post-Crisis DCU universe, is a multiverse itself, and thus, there are multiverses within multiverses and complex coordination of the universe is too much for a mind to understand and thus must be preserved! Again he recounts that Hypertime Bar is the only real thing that anti-matter could not destroy! The nature of anti-matter is so great, that it must consume everything. But in doing so, reboots and retcons allow the universe to restore itself. Thus, this gives the anti-matter a continual purposes, to destroy what the universe is constantly recreating. The Hypertime Bar exists outside of continuities and realities, and is immune to retcons, reboots, endings and mock destructions of timelines. It must always be, for that is the nature of it: what happens there can never be undone! As they now regain their composure, the LMB turn to see Anti-Monitor at last piercing his way into the Hypertime Bar. At once the Anti-Monitor unleashes an anti-matter warhead which will destroy the Hypertime Bar completely. As the LMB disburse, the Anti-Monitor is lulled into a false sense of security, only for Emerald Vee to appear. Laughing, the Anti-Monitor believes Vee has no chance, until reveals that while the Anti-Monitor may be a master of chaos, Vee is a master of the variable. In doing so, he can altar the rate of growth and change in a being, and using the power of the Emerald Eye, he does so on the Anti-Monitor, halting the use of his powers so they move at an eon’s pace, including the assault of the anti-matter warhead. Thus, The LMBP assembled charge at the Anti-Monitor for one great assault! As the LMBP continued to pound on him, Vee uses his emerald eye-enhanced abilities (along with Silver Sorceress and Sapphire Seeress) to drain the Anti-Monitor essence out of the Anti-Moderator, ripping it out of him, revealing an ugly, slimey slug—the now powerless Anti-Moderator. The LMBers back away, letting him snivel before them, as Faraway Lad and Outdoor Miner return them back to their home reality. However, the Anti-Monitor’s Warhead continues to move closer to the Hyptertime Bar, where now only Vee and the powerless anti-moderator stand, as dismisses him for his crimes against reality. Emerald Vee finally disappears as the anti-matter warhead strikes, destroying the anti-moderator completely. The Hypertime Bar, believed to be vulnerable remains unscathed, as the combined forces of the Spectre and Lucien Lads uphold its integrity, so that the anti-matter explosion finally passes and the forces outside the bar are restored, so once again all is safe. They too exit the Hypertime Bar, sealing it shut forever. The LMB return home to Legion World, victorious at last, after weeks of crisis. Exhausted, both mentally and physically, they bask in the glory of victory, while taking time to silently mourn the loss of many friends, particularly the fallen Space Ranger and Emerald Empress. Together, they drink to their memories as a united front and begin to repair Legion World. Note – this is probably where I might need the most additional insight. This is mainly just the final battle, with all other subplots previously written in (and holy crap, that took days and days to read through!!!!), but mainly in IC thread there’s a whole lot of dialogue rather than action . Still, its all good fun and its obviously implied what was happening, so I think I have a very good summary above. I’m about 90% satisfied, but if someone has some additional things for me to add, please feel free to. EpiloguesAs Space Ranger had a poignant funeral, the LMB now ensured that the Emerald Empress would have one as well. Vee, now the inheritor of the Emerald Eye, began the Emerald Eulogies , and many were able to pay tribute to their fallen friend. Within the confines of the Security Office, a large large statue of the Emerald Empress and Space Ranger was erected in the lobby of the magnificent building, so that tribute would always be paid by Security Officers to two of the founding members of the institution. Now the master of the Emerald Eye, Varalent returned to Legion World, to both his Villa and SHAKES, and began life anew, this time with added firepower, and a renewed sense of duty, though both he and his paramour Semi-Transparent Fellow mourned the loss of their friend. Invisible Brainiac received the highest decorations possible for his service during Infinite Crisis, and his ability to coordinate the response efforts for the LMB as a whole. Jailbait Lass was also decorated, and Cobalt Kid gave her a very hefty raise in her pay. The connection to Avalon on Legion World was forever gone, and the Avalonians were not seen again, though the ‘fire of Avalon’ became a phrase that would refer to the beloved fieriness of former member High Priestess Viviane, but also the despised fiery evil of so many of the Avalonians who attempted to subvert Legion World. Following the events of the Ggrrgg/Psyonia War, Cobalt Kid and Spellbinder became ever closer, relying on one another more and more. Cobalt remained estranged with his father on Ggrrgg for his role against his home-planet, but now the Jectra Twins found themselves at odds with the Psyonian Royal Family. Their parents, still angry over the assault by Ggrrgg, thought Cobalt Kid to be distasteful and forbade Crujectra from consorting with him. Crujectra refused outright and her brother Crusader supported her, so that the Twins were no longer on speaking terms with their parents. Tamper Lad’s heroism in Infinite Crisis became a thing commonly brought up to the point that it embarrassed him, as Nova Girl constantly reminded everyone. Though not an LMBer yet, Rockhopper Lad, Caliente and others made it a point to try and make him one soon. Caliente and Frio, both alive and well, rejoined the LMB at large. Frio quickly was back at the Security Office and enjoying life, while Caliente reunited both with her fiancé Actor Lad, but also made sure that Tamper Lad, who none could doubt she was close to, knew she was alive. He was overjoyed, much to Nova Girl’s amusement. Kid Prime re-emerged stronger than ever with new powers, a new look and a new outlook—no longer giving so much credence to his origins. Disaster Boy agreed, he too comfortable in that knowledge and now once more in control of his powers. Queen Connie disbanded the Super-Pets military, but first not without thanking them all. Hrun and Stoopid Cat, once bitter enemies, remained the best of friends. The House of Quank mourned the loss of Space Ranger, and both Abin Quank and Pagan Lass were both shocked by Everyday Girl’s involvement in the Red Bee’s capture. Though they wanted to keep her out of LMBP life, she had other ideas, starting with the Office of Security, where she knew she probably had at least one supporter in Cobalt Kid. Reboot, now fully energized, rejoined Legion World, but now had the energies of the rift in the time/space continuum added to his physiology. With a new costume and an adjustment (and boost) in powers, he continued to function out of his mainframe. Though he had long been on the inactive list of LMBers and had come close to returning to active status many times, the combined teamwork with Cobalt Kid during the Constitutional Convention in addition to the satisfaction of working so well with the LMB as a whole during the Crisis, led him to finally return to active status as an LMBer. Lucifer Lass returned to Legion World, the full extent of her almost-betrayal known only to Eryk Davis Ester, who kept quiet about it. The LMB did know she pinched in at the end though, so they greeted her back to Legion World, and when she questioned what to do with leftover bits from infinite crisis , Cobalt Kid made a joke about marrying her, and jokingly, she reminded them she wasn’t quite that good of an ally. The Red Bee, the Riddler and other criminals were imprisoned on the repaired Takron-Galtos, the former two in critical condition. The Royal Inquisitor, who heroically defended Legion World, was allowed special privileges to see Quislet in the future on special occasions, and the two remained engaged. Quislet, with the Crisis now over, reverted back to his normal size. Amora the Enchantress, a new face on Legion World, now realized that this would be her home and began trying to find her place on it. Stealth, who had done so months earlier, volunteered to help her. Outdoor Miner continued on as one of the most popular denizens on Legion World despite himself. Given all that he had seen in Infinite Crisis, however, even he considered if he should be drinking any longer. Lucien Lad and Gaylipso were unbound and returned to two separate entities, and Gaylipso was returned to Earth-4, although he ensured he would not return as a prisoner. Lucien Lad enjoyed the bonding and now had new fashion ideas. The LMBP Spectre returned to her normal resting place, awaiting the next crisis which would surely awaken her. Rockhopper Lad also stayed in contact with Earth-4, with Openly Gay Lad, Blaine Fey, as the two continued to fall in love. After Infinite Crisis, the LMB not only was a stronger, more united front, it had re-bonded in a way that a group only can when it has faced annihilation together. New members, returning members, established members—all those monikers were wiped away and the LMB as a whole felt a more in-tune sense of a group. The membership was also the most full it had been ever in its history. Although soon many LMBers would once more leave the active roster, they stayed on for a time, for the LMB to heal as a entity and to embrace the new closeness all felt.

LMB: Infinite Crisis Part IX: An Overview of Infinite Crisis and what it meant for the LMB
Infinite Crisis was unique to the LMB and Legion World for many things, the most blatant being its sheer size, in both participants, threads & story activity and for its dominance on the MMB on Legion World. Quite simply, there was a massive amount of posters that used Infinite Crisis as a story they could make their own that would have far-reaching changes on their characters. The progression of almost every character involved makes it much more dramatic from a story point of view, but from a historical view, it really shows how deeply involving the various LMBers were, in that they had immersed themselves in LMB lore enough that they felt comfortable in using it to their advantage.
This trend crosses into all generations of LMBers. Many of the longtime LMBers, like Cru, Bevis (Lucien Lad) and Cobalt Kid, were of course involved, as were later LMBers that had been mainstays for many years by now, such as Eryk Davis Ester, Varalent and Kid Prime. The most recent string of LMBers, including Tamper Lad, Caliente, Stealth, Rockhopper Lad, Joeboy and others, also were greatly immersed in Infinite Crisis to the point were they were largely guiding the story as well—so that, indeed, by the finale of the event, they were ‘new’ no longer, and had established themselves as central to the LMB as much as anyone.
The group that most was effected by Infinite Crisis, in my opinion, was the group of LMBers that first arrived to LMB lore at the dawn of Legion World. Specifically, it was not only the LMBers themselves, but the Alt IDs, which essentially define the early days of Legion Word when viewing it in regards to LMB lore, that were most greatly effected by Infinite Crisis. For example, a series of LMBers/Alt IDs that arrived on Legion World in the Fall of 2003, when LMB-type activity first became paramount on the newly created Legion World, included the Emerald Empress, Space Ranger, the Royal Inquisitor, Kara and others. In Infinite Crisis, it brought a dramatic close to the stories of the Empress and Space Ranger through their deaths. The Royal Inquisitor was changed completely from his traditional role as archetypical LMB villain on Legion World to someone trying to become heroic. The real poster who used the alt ID Kara, who had not been seen in some time, revealed that he had planned to kill Kara off too during Infinite Crisis, but real life business prevented him from doing so. However, that intention reveals a trend among the underlying theme of Infinite Crisis—that it was essentially a conclusion to the ‘LMB on Legion World’ for the last two years prior, including a literal ‘cleansing of the palate’.
For two years, the LMB had been on Legion World and had seen a tremendous amount of change. When viewing the smaller picture, you can see up and downs and how things progressed from one point to another. From a much larger picture, one can consider the entirety up until Infinite Crisis as one larger story. The problems of a year prior were all but gone, dusted away by “The Good, the Dark and the Dead” as a newly refreshed LMB emerged, but now polished by Infinite Crisis. Old Alt IDs that helped define the LMB on Legion World saw their stories change or come to a close, while other posters such as High Priestess Viviane and her Avalon saga wrapped up completely. The final showdown with the Anti-Monitor/Moderator, after years of using the character as a metaphor for all the attempts to address continuity issues at DC (and Marvel to a lesser degree) that had gone haywire gave one final climax to this traditional theme, and in a way that essentially left future attempts at using this old metaphor rather worthless—in a sense, there would be no more ‘Crisis on Infinite Earths’, ‘Zero Hour’ or “Infinite Crisis’ stories, because they had been done so often, that the best one now put that entire trend to a close. With the addition of a new batch of LMBers that figuratively had a ‘baptism of fire’ while literally moving to the quickened ‘sophomore’ role of LMBer, as well as the return of a variety of posters from a very large array of eras, there seemed to be a sense that the LMB as a whole, after six years, was molded into one more solid group, so that looking at it in terms of ‘eras’ seemed to be nonsensical.
Thus, the period(s) after Infinite Crisis would be a new era completely with many long-standing and ideas and characters at a point where they needed to move in a new direction, now that so many trends, storylines and characters had come to a close. Once more, an exciting time had arrived, as a distinct sense that something new was upon the group as a whole for not only the next few months, but possibly the next few years.

Note to Cali- I realize now that i probably have tons of references to Cali and Frio being sisters in the last fifteen or so posts, so when I make the official version, I'll be sure to correct them all

Year Seven:6ML and the transition to the Diamond Age LMBP Part I: The Transitions to the Diamond Age
Following LMB: Infinite Crisis, there emerged once more a new, refreshed LMB. After months of rebuilding and events occurring that gave a shot of adrenaline into the LMB giving rebirth to a sense of enthusiasm for the group, Infinite Crisis created a sense of ‘cleansing the palate’, and starting fresh. The storylines of some longtime Legion World Alt IDs and LMBers came a close or went in a new direction, the new blood of the previous few months had become so immersed in LMB lore that they no longer felt like rookies, and the various generations of LMBers all posting together at one time had melded so much together than it could generally be seen as one large era of LMBers. Thus, as Infinite Crisis came to a close, there was a sense that a new era was beginning.
That era, one might argue, officially could begin with the resumption of the elections with Actor Lad and Kent Shakespeare becoming the new LMB Leader and Deputy Leader and the introduction of a whole new plethora of LMB-lore driven events and threads that would come in the Summer of 2006. Looking at it in this light, one sees a series of seven to eight months of LMB posting that exists between the close of Infinite Crisis and the beginning of that new era, which can classified as a transitionary period that would lead to the ‘Diamond Age’ of the LMB.
This period of transition is also marked with a series of trends that help further the classification. First, following Infinite Crisis, which saw a wide array of posters become quite active again, there was a trend of many of these posters decreasing their activity, both with Legion World and specifically in LMB related events. Though still maintaining a casual presence on Legion World, they remained a part of the community at large, but did not maintain an active enough presence to be on the ‘active roster’. Therefore, a sense of consolidation took place within the active LMB roster, though the marked difference between the LMB and the general population of Legion World remained there for intents and purposes of LMB story-telling.
Further, there was a series of threads called ‘One Year Later’ that gave descriptions of where the LMB was following an implied one year jump in continuity. Though this seems to be too much time in regards to making the continuity work, a later section will explain how calling this ‘6 months later’ helps complete how the continuity flows together while at the same time underling this larger theme of transition.
This long period of time also served to strengthen the previous theme begun by Infinite Crisis as newer members became more and more established within the community and new phases of threads came and went, so that an entirely new dynamic existed within the LMB proper.
Finally, the return of the elections at the end of this period helps show that a new sense of going forward had long replaced the old concerns over the elections, and it was time to move forward with the new dynamic within the LMB.

Year Seven: 6ML and the transition to the Diamond Age LMBP Part II: Life on Legion WorldThe Legion Forum Supergirl – During this time, in the Spring of 2006, DC Comics made the announcement that the Legion of Super-Heroes (still recently three-booted) would add Supergirl to the title, changing the name of the comic to “Supergirl & The Legion of Super-Heroes”, which was a spin/tribute on the former “Superboy & The Legion of Super-Heroes from years past. The ‘Kara Zor-El Supergirl’, herself only recently returned to the DCU, was somewhat controversial already, given her death twenty years earlier, the Supergirl’s that had been seen since and the characterization of her that was plainly different from the way she was traditionally portrayed. Thus, Legion World not only made plain their differing opinions on the character herself, but also on what her role in the Legion would be—and should be—as fears that she would dominate the series, and subsequent criticisms that she did were compared to enthusiasm from posters who thought her presence may help the Legion in the long run. Throughout the Spring and subsequent months, this remained a potent topic in the Legion Forum. The Mission Monitor Board Run-on threads – During this period, specifically around February – April 2006, the Mission Monitor Board saw an interesting trend in what I’ve entitled ‘run-on threads’. These threads would usually begin one night with an off-beat topic and then subsequently draw in posters that would create threads with similar titles or a spoof on the original thread—which would usually lead to four or five more of them. What was further interesting is that as the weeks went on and various series of ‘run-on threads’ were created on the MMB, there would be references to previous series of run-ons, to where it almost was as if the ‘run-on’ itself was exponential, so that a series of run-on threads was a larger self-referential run-on itself. For example, a run-on of threads regarding Max Schrek and Julie Fitzpatrick (herself a pervious run-on thread) occurred here , here , here and here and most likely other places. What is most interesting is that this trend had been seen to a lesser degree in the MMB for years before, but never at this rate. However, this type of posting was quite common for the Legion Forum, and the enthusiasm most likely spilled over from there. Bits O’ Legionnaire BusinessKat’s Coloring Challenges – Though she had started many threads before relating to the coloring of sketches, White Raven (also known as ‘Kat’) kicked off a series of threads in November and December 2005 that were entitled ‘Kat’s Coloring Challenges’, where she presented the sketch of a pic and the various Legion World artists that specialized in coloring gave their own spin on how the sketch should be finished. These threads ran throughout 2006 thereafter as a monthly part of the Bits forum. Dr. Gym’ll’s Cultural RealitiesDC and Marvel’s Mega-Crossovers – During the Fall of 2005 both DC and Marvel announced their upcoming crossovers, respectively ‘Infinite Crisis’ and ‘Civil War’, which led to much anticipation and speculation in Dr. Gym’lls Forum. When the mini-series began in the Spring of 2006 and carried on thereafter, speculation was meant with reviews, criticisms and cataloguing which inspired not only long, large threads for each, but also various spin-off threads, as reactions and witticisms were stated. The Titans ForumJust as Legion World reacted to Marvel’s ‘Civil War’ and DC’s ‘Infinite Crisis’ on Dr. Gym’lls Cultural Realities, the posting community also used the Titans to vent their own frustration or applause for the use of the Titans during Infinite Crisis. Particularly prevalent were comical threads about Pantha’s severed head. As always, suggestions on other trends during this time period are highly welcome!

Year Seven: 6ML and the transition to the Diamond Age LMBP Part III: Consolidation of the MembershipIn the weeks that immediately followed Infinite Crisis, the re-strengthened membership of the LMB hit its most active point in its history. A wide range of Legionnaires from all eras filled the ranks and the rebuilding of Legion World and re-establishing LMB protocol was so done so efficiently that it was completed within this small period of time. Seeing such a strong, revitalized LMB would be going forward, this allowed several members, who had rejoined because Legion World and the LMB were in Crisis, to feel at ease about returning to the lives they had established and remove themselves from the active roster. Thus, the following posters placed themselves on Reservist Status: - Loser Lad
- Star Boy
- Icefyre
- Kara
- Harbinger
- Super Lad Kid
- Pagan Lass
- Queen Connie
- Pariscub
AlsoFollowing the events of Infinite Crisis, Continuity Cop felt assured that the LMB had done the job needed to be done and prevented the disaster the Crisis represented. Wishing them well and assuring them she’d be there is they needed her; she also left the active roster. Amora the Enchantress, still new on Legion World, also left the active roster, taking time to find a life for herself on Legion World and adjust to her new surroundings. Hrun the Barbarian and Stoopid Cat once more exit the LMB’s active roster, secretly undertaking an espionage mission for Cobalt Kid and the Security Office. Not officially security officers, they remain secret non-official spies for Cobalt in other regions of space.

Year Seven: 6ML and the transition to the Diamond Age LMBP Part IV: Six Months Later/One Year LaterReal HistoryFollowing LMB: Infinite Crisis, the LMB authors wanted to mimic another DC Comics event by copying the ‘One Year Later’ insignia and starting a few threads dealing with what an OYL LMB would look like following their own crisis. This is cleverly done via fake solicitations for various LMB comics that would be coming out following the Infinite Crisis, similar to DC Comics line of then-current titles. In examining the plot points given in these descriptions it becomes evident that most of these LMB stories could fit more accurately under ‘Six Months Later’ rather than ‘One Year Later’. Also, a jump forward an entire year might be stretching the timeline too far, and it would only add another six months that might not be necessary. Having ‘Six Months Later’ (aka ‘6ML’) allows a jump that covers close to this entire period with enough time left over for the remainder of anecdotes that took place throughout the rest of the period. Further, it advances the LMB timeline to roughly Year Eight for the LMB continuity-wise, which then gives the start of Actor Lad’s term, at the opening of Year Eight, a much easier designation in keeping track of LMB Continuity. The actual length of time the LMB would be in existence would actually be seven years at March 12, 2007, therefore making it about an entire full year longer that the LMB existed in continuity rather than in real life. For example, from here on, when the events happened within Year Eight, they would then happen in Year Seven in real life. This works well, because the return of the leadership terms would be done in four month increments rather than the traditional three. Previously, the ‘real life/continuity overlap’ existed to repair this disconnect, but from here on forward there would be no need for it, with continuity simply existing one full year longer than real life. One Year Later Solicits LMB: 52 Six Months Later – In ContinuityFollowing Infinite Crisis, Cobalt Kid returns to the topic of Security Office reform and his long discussions with Reboot. Because the Constitutional Convention has been effectively brought to a close, the Security Office article was never ratified. However, despite being under no obligation to do so, Cobalt makes the Security Office Article Effective immediately, creating the new Committee on Security, which he himself is the Chairman, a position he holds for life (as a continuation of his Chief of Security role). In place of Space Ranger, he names Abin Quank, his brother and Green Lantern of the United Planets, on the committee. Quislet Esq. and the Royal Inquisitor remain engaged and happy, with the Inquisitor allowed to spend some additional time on Legion World following his heroic role during Infinite Crisis. The public remains thoroughly enthralled by the engagement, while some LMBers come to trust Quislet’s instincts more and more and extend that trust to the Royal Inquisitor. Frio learns that much of what she was told by the Avalonians months earlier were lies and false leads to her origins as they attempted to use her against one another. Frio becomes more concerned with learning the complete truth of her past. With the death of Space Ranger, longtime rivals Abin Quank and Cobalt Kid seem to finally reach an understanding and set aside their differences, opting to work together and, in fact, become friends. Cobalt names Abin Quank co-Deputy Leader of the Office of Security in place of Space Ranger. Because of Abin’s longtime role as Green Lantern of the United Planets and his knowledge of intergalactic affairs, the Security Office is split so that Abin runs the intergalactic affairs portion of the Security Office and Matlock runs the Legion World Street Crime portion. Everyday Girl, despite protests from her grandparents, requests a position at the Security Office and Cobalt Kid agrees, naming her Junior Deputy Chief of Security and giving her Space Ranger’s old office. From then on, an understanding exists between the two, and other LMBers and Legion Worlders wonder why Cobalt Kid allows Everyday Girl to have so much authority in the Security Office. During this period Dedman, Caliente and Disaster Boy all join the Security Office. Golden Shower attacks Legion World, where she is beaten by a strangely sober Outdoor Miner. Miner’s sobriety becomes the topic of speculation for some time in the media. When asked about it, Miner comments that he has given up drinking. With the Security Office situated, Cobalt Kid and Princess Crujectra surprise the LMB by taking a long overdue vacation together, touring many of the vacation planets of the United Planets. Brought much closer together following the events of the Ggrrgg/Psyonia War, the two are seen and followed by the paparazzi throughout space. Rumors begin to circulate that these longtime friends are having more than just a ‘fling’, but rather a full-on love affair. Their closest friends and confidents become aware that the two are indeed in love and are in fact monogamous. Photos of the two make the rounds. Space Tart, off Legion World for months, finds and takes care of a mysterious baby. Hoping to bring it to Legion World, she is warned against it and eventually places it in the care of Lil’ Rhino. Now known as ‘Emerald Varalent’, Vee continues to operate SHAKES along with Semi-Transparent Fellow. Tamper Lad opens The Evil Genius Supper Club on Legion World, as an elitist establishment frequently by the evil genius contingent of Legion World. Commonly seen there are Thora and Winema Wazzo, as well as Nova Girl, Tamper Lad’s sometime friend, sometime antagonist. Keeping the Legion World rumor mill running strong, Caliente takes a job there working the bar. The Wedding of Crusader and Maxx – After dating for years and being one of the LMB’s most well-known couples, Crusader and Maxx finally set a date for their Wedding on Psyonia. Though estranged from their parents, the House of Jectra had no trouble thanks to the Queen and groom-to-be Maxx working behind the scenes to mend fences. Caliente and Actor Lad’s engagement continues during this time throughout. Despite protests from him, the LMB induct Tamper Lad into their ranks following his heroic role in LMB: Infinite Crisis. Many of his longtime friends and supporters are pleased, while those who aren’t too sure about him hope this allows him to focus his brilliance on things that benefit the UP and Legion World. Beagle Boy returns to the LMB for a time, joining Lucien Lad and Lash Lad on a mission, and the three take the moniker “Birds of Gay”. Changed forever by a journey to the centre of the multiverse, Glitch-Reboot attempts to maintain his sanity in the midst of the tremendous power he now wields throughout this period. Journeying to the future, Cobalt Kid joins the Instant Messagers , a group of young heroes who see him as one of the most legendary heroes of all time. They make him an honorary member. Matlock once more attempts to retire, but the villainous Toilet-Bowl Bomber attacks, and in order to defeat him, Matlock must use his power, de-aging himself once more, so that he is no longer eligible for retirement benefits. Disaster Boy, despite learning of his origins, appears to have another terrible secret that he keeps from his fellow LMBers. Despite inquiries from his close friends Kid Vudoo and Caliente, he says little. The reanimated corpse of Large Handsome appears on Legion World, and as would be expected, it begins to hunt for Lash Lad. Eryk Davis Ester and Blok the Pet Rock help Lash solve this mystery, shocked to find that the corpse is still large, and still handsome. They learn that Large Handsome has regained his sentience, despite being an undead zombie! Looking to repent, Large Handsome swears to do right in the universe while his current state of un-life lasts. Eryk Davis Ester is not idle during this time and begins searching for a secret in far-off corners of the universe, causing some LMBers such as Kid Prime and Varalent to suspect it relates Lucifer Lass, CJ Taylor and LardLad…which could possibly mean something dastardly for the LMB--something involving Pornis and the One Called the One? Finally, it appears that Cobalt Kid learns the secret, but does not share it with his allies. Also, during this time, Eryk Davis Ester’s on-again, off-again relationship with Kid Gender Stereotype Reversal II continues. LMB Arch-foe Nick Lachey tricks LMB ally Antiquated Forms of Communication Lass into saying yes to an engagement from him and the LMB are to the rescue. Despite help from Saturn Girl, Crusader and Shark Lad, its finally Poverty Lad whose outright crude behavior snaps her out of it, allowing her to deliver a hard-felt punch to Lachey and ending his trickery. Throughout this time, Rockhopper Lad gets to know Openly Gay Lad much better, and Blaine Fey is often seen traveling to Earth-1 for the two to be together. Rockhopper Lad’s best friends know quickly that it is true love.

Year Seven: 6ML and the transition to the Diamond Age LMBP Part V: Adventures during the Transition period following 6ML The Seven Seas – Spellbinder, Cobalt Kid, Loser Lad, Invisible Brainiac, Crusader, Maxx and Ultra Matt enjoy high-society at Fathom’s Below, the famous restaurant in Earth’s Atlantis. However, they are soon interrupted by the water-based terrorist unit the Seven Seas, causing a melee to erupt. Despite the large number of enemies the LMBP emerges victorious with enough time for Spellbinder to scold Earth’s elite for their snotty views towards the non-Royal LMBers. Note, this was a Onevision written by Spellbinder/Princess Crujectra during this time. Life on the Streets – As days and weeks go by after Infinite Crisis and the LMBers have celebrated and moved on, many citizens of Legion World are unable to do so because quite frankly: Life on the streets of Legion World can be hard. One being, burned badly and left for dead by the Red Bee at last awakens. And seeing his burnt body and feeling week…he hated the LMB—this was Blugshot Porkinbaggle! And with his newfound powers he received in the crisis, he would become: Middlefinger (VI that is!). Immediately he began to give the same sense of dread and lifeless existence he had to other LW citizens, causing riots, so that Matlock was forced to quell them. Hearing of a new Middlefinger, Middlefinger V’s mysterious ship (from ‘The Day Legion World Stood Still’) immediately journeyed to Legion World! While the Galaxy Fair raged on and some LMBers like Kid Prime and Lucien Lad enjoyed the festivities (and Reboot danced with a young Triumvirate soldier named Knightress), Middlefinger V’s ship crashes revealing a new enemy in the form of the Evil Gnome King! Dollyputo and Kylie Minogue lend a hand—only to see that Dollyputo was in fact, Michael Lorenzo Lash (from Earth-5) the former enemy of the LMB, who had been masquerading as Lash throughout the 6ML gap! More and more LMBers and allies are drawn into the fray as a mystery centered on an item called ‘The One Ring of Power’, which Middlefinger wished to place on his middle finger! However, this was the rightful property of the evil Gnome King, who had traveled to Legion World after it, and a war between the two villains broke out with the LMB assembled before them. Soon Actor Lad and Caliente battled Middlefinger, Eryk Davis Ester and Cobalt Kid analyzed the mystery of the One Ring, Mattropolis saved Legion World from a falling gigantic comet, Tamper Lad joined Actor Lad and Caliente for increased drama, Madrox the Multiple Durlan attempted to infiltrate the LMB once more by becoming Cobalt Kid only to be killed by Everyday Girl, The Royal Inquisitor provides Quislet with a summary of the plot, and entering the fray were the entire House of Quank, the Gorilla Tribes of Legion World and Kid Gender Stereotype Reversal II. The Origin of the Gnome King revealed that Faraway Lad’s drinking ability had provided great enlightenment to the Gnome people and thus they were able to overthrow their bonds of slavery from the Evil Gnome King and hid themselves in the one ring of power. However, soon Middlefinger VI steals the One Ring of Power from the LMB with his hordes of servants, claims it, and uses it to kill the Gnome King! A beautiful young girl tries to get it back—but is revealed as Eryk Davis Ester, using his abilities as the Boy of 1,000 Faces! Middlefinger VI then journeys to Takron-Galtos and kills Middlefinger V (per tradition). Its finally the sudden arrival of longtime LMBer Blacula, the reanimated corpse of Large Handsome and the surprise help of the Time Mouse Trapper, who feared how powerful Middlefinger VI had become, that the LMB assembled are able to defeat him and pry off the One Ring. The Gnomes leave the ring, draining it of magic and rejoin the universe proper now that the Gnome King is defeated, while in the process restoring Large Handsome to his former living state. Middlefinger VI is then locked up in Takron-Galtos. Note – this is a much larger and more confusing LMB tag thread begun by Bevis (Lucien Lad). Its actually pretty brilliant too and I recommend it! I wish it went longer!. The Color Guides – Throughout Legion World, various LMBers appear to be coming down with viruses, including Spellbinder, Loser Lad, White Raven, Vee, Yellow Kid, Minesurfer, Lucien Lad, Drake and others. Soon, entire art galleries begin to vanish and Sketch Lad deducts that it’s the LMBers greatest artists that are being stricken. Soon he learns it’s the work of: Empress Eraser! As Sketch Lad battles her, he is helped by the appearance of three beautiful muses: Sapphire, Ruby and Amber! These three, he learns, are the Color Guides, empowered by new art created in the universe, and they help him defeat Empress Eraser. However, though the Empress is destroyed and his friends restored, Sketch Lad’s powers are depleted. The Color Guides, needing to replenish themselves after long years of attacks by the Empress suggest a partnership in which Sketch Lad can use their power as his own, and thus create new art and inspire other art that will therefore empower the Color Guides. With new powers and a new costume, Sketch Lad once more rejoined the LMBP! Note, this was a Onevision written by Sketch Lad during this time. Enter the NanoBots – Nightcrawler enjoys quiet time on Monitor Duty when he becomes aware that a series of LMBers have failed to check in, and soon learns that they are kidnapped! Lightning Lad, Saturn Girl, Spellbinder, Cobalt Kid, Lash Lad and Shadowplay in Candlelight Lass: all LMB founders or Legion World Founders! Using Nano-technology, Stan Biercht makes his presence known as the culprit, though the LMBers can’t remember who he is. Finally, Nightcrawler recalls that ‘Stan, the Nano-Tech’ applied for LMB membership a year earlier and was denied entrance by these seven (the then Membership Committee) after he failed so badly in his test that Reboot was forced to save his life (and the lives of the observers). Now armed with Nanobot servants and the moniker ‘Stanobot’, he prepares to have his revenge. However, playing on his doubts and lack of confidence, some LMBers like Lash Lad and Cobalt Kid have a good laugh at his expense, while the rest use their powers to quickly dismantle the nanobots, and Saturn Girl ultimately takes him down. Note, this was a Onevision written by Spellbinder/Princess Crujectra during this time. The Rising Darkness – Following the events of Infinite Crisis, a mysterious person breaks the Red Bee and the Riddler out of Takron-Galtos, instantly causing great anxiety amongst the LMB. Everyday Girl immediately plans to spring to action, but Pagan Lass has Hrun the Barbarian and Stoopid Cat watch her every move, the latter doing so to get back in her good graces after their falling out and the former because he finally reveals the truth, he is indeed Everyday Girl’s father. Cobalt Kid tries to protect Pagan as best he can as well, sending her on a mission with Arachne, while he and Matlock investigate the breakout, which ultimately leads the female duo to Tamper Lad’s Evil Supper Genius Club. Other LMBers directly involved in the Bee’s past escapades, such as Abin Quank, Reboot, My Whee Fem and the Bee’s favored target, Jailbait Lass, also become involved. In the process, the mystery of Everyday Girl’s miniature versions of Eryk Davis Ester and Cobalt Kid (respectively Nobody and No One) is revealed, as they are Kacks, other-worldly creatures (and how they connect to the Nobody of the Light Brigade is revealed too). Ultimately the Security Office finds the Red Bee and the Riddler to see they are not the threat after all, but rather the mysterious man is part of a larger plot to destroy Legion World, because they ultimately fear the Supreme Protector of the Universe herself, Mearl Dox! The balance of chaos and order within the LMB is examined by these enemies, who come to understand that the continued elimination of agents of order within the LMB threaten to offset the balance towards chaos, which already maintains a degree of culture. As Everyday Girl, My Whee Fem and Jailbait Lass search for Mearl and find her mysterious cottage in the scary woods, the rest of the LMB begin to unravel the mystery which involves the far-away galaxy of the Puckered Sphincter and a mysterious thousands of years old relating to pre-Egypt and STU. Note, this was an unfinished Onevision written by Abin Quank during this time. The Super-Villain Legion – while the LMB enjoy a time of relative prosperity on Legion World, far off a gathering of second rate super-villains threatens to become a serious threat! Cobalt Kid, Eryk Davis Ester, Kid Marvel, Lash Lad and others are soon drawn in to their complicated plot as Takron-Galtos appears under attack. While Golden Shower attempts to kidnap Reboot and a villain reanimates the corpse of long-dead LMBer Frankie Muniz, Semi-Transparent Fellow, Vee and Dedman learn of a mystery within one of Legion World’s many unexplored caves and are joined by Lucifer Lass, who has become annoyed by the villains on Legion World. As Abin Quank, Quislet Esq, Caliente, Tamper Lad, Sketch Lad, Lucien Lad, Faraway Lad, Invisible Brainiac and more and more LMBers entered the fray, the mastermind behind it all revealed himself: The Pro-Creator! Able to create b-list villains with no previous connection to the LMB mythos, he unleashes an army against the mighty LMB-assembled. Note – this was an actual tag team thread. Penguin’s Progress: The Origin of Rockhopper Lad – Rockhopper Lad, spending time with his new paramour and beloved, Blaine Fey, relates to him how he (with Hyvvie the Wonder Beagle) came to Legion World as an Ambassador of the Pyngwynyy and ended up joining the LMBP at the same time new members Stealth and Caliente did. Note, this was a Onevision written by Rockhopper Lad during this time. Legion World’s Gruesome Twosome – During the LMBP’s Spring Festival, Deathstroke Kid finally reappears on Legion World (after months of hiding) and joins Salad-Tosser Lord, who is attempting to increase the growth of Legion World’s farmland at an accelerated rate so that it consumes the planet. Nightcrawler, Lightning Lad and Saturn Girl, aware of problems on Legion World, investigate, and at last Deathstroke Kid and Lightning Lad battle one on one! Salad-Tosser Lord finds his own problems as Frio and Kid Marvel are introduced to him, and Poverty Lad joins the fight to give his old foe a taste of his own medicine. Beware the Ninja Bread Man – while the LMB enjoy a nice Christmas, they are unaware of the trouble that the galaxy is in, as the Ninjabread Man threatens the spirit of Christmas. Luckily, the Gumdrop League, including Mallo Man, Wonder Chiclet and Hot Tamale, are able to band together to defeat him. Note – this was an actual tag team thread, created by Suddenly Seymour. Go Forth And… Following his battle weeks earlier with the LMBP, the Pro-Creator breaks loose on Takron-Galtos and immediately creates a cadre of b-list villains to help him. Joined by Nick Lachey, the two attempt to exit the United Planets—but are pursued by an LMB team of Drake, White Raven, Polar Boy and Monkey-Eater Lad. After a series of battles, it’s the arrival of He Who Wanders, who was in the alien area and Minesurfer, who surfs into the cosmic storm they are hiding in, that turns the tide. Ultimately, Mystery Lad is able to take out the Pro-Creator, whom he believes gives a similar person an alternate Earth a bad name. Time Out—Time In – Time Boy returns to the 31st Century to hang out with his LMB buddies Suddenly Seymour and Arachne, only to discover that he cannot close his time-hole, and prehistoric space-dinosaurs are flying into Legion World’s orbit and the space beyond. Joined by Dedman, Kid Vudoo, Gigglebot Girl and Actor Lad, they soon discover that it’s the work of the Arch Duke of Time causing these problems. While they round up the space-dinosaurs and settle them on a barren planet with an ecosystem similar to pre-historic Earth, the timely arrival of Leap Year Lass and Stealth ends the Arch Duke’s plans via the time-honored tradition of a knuckle sandwich. Recapturing the Magic – Eryk Davis Ester, Lard Lad and Kid Prime are enjoying a nice swim when suddenly Shark Lad attempts to attack them, and they soon learn that someone chummed the pond and stole their clothes! Meanwhile, Salad-Tosser Lord enjoys his new occupation as one of the judges on United Planets Idol, when Poverty Lad, Caliente and Frio attempt to win the contest to uncover STL’s plan, only for STL to tell them they did such an awful job that they must die. However, both parties soon were attacked by Entropy Spinach which descended throughout the universe. However, the E-Spinach at UP Idol turns out to be the Time Mouse Trapper playing a joke on the LMB, while at the pond, its Actor Lad in disguise, attempting to get them out of the pond because they are in grave danger via the mastermind (who just so happens to ride around in a tomato with wheels), but only after Lardy has an interlude with Sexual Innuendo Lass. Meanwhile Cobalt Kid played strip poker with Lucien Lad, Faraway Lad and Lash Lad, but grew bored when he realized that all the women were missing! As a crazed Rabbit/Trapper-Zapper threatened the LMB if they got in his way in a war with the Time Mouse Trapper and a giant fluffy bunny kidnapped Cobalt Kid, Antonio Stefannaci burst in to proclaim that all of Legion World’s (and the UP’s) magic was gone! Somehow, this related to the Time Mouse Trapper’s plot to have the fluffy bunny kidnap Cobalt to lure out his enemy R/T-Z, and to weaken R/T-Z’s power by turning the LMB into bunnies and draining all his magic. However, Poverty Lad found a genie, who was a weevil named jinni, who was helping him. But this was all a ploy and it was Jinni all along who carried on the entire charade to suck up all of the magic so she could free herself from her prison! As Jinni used comatose Cobalt Kid’s all over Legion World as bombs, it was up to the non-magic LMBers to outsmart the genie. Finally a plan by Dr. Mayavale, Eryk Davis Ester, Kendra Prime (a gender-reversed Kid Prime) and Shark Lad was able to pierce Jinni’s physical form and release all her magic back into the world, thus imprisoning her once more! Note – this was an actual tag team thread, though highly confusing. The New Crusaders! – On another Earth, in 2006, the heroic group known as the New Crusaders engage their enemies, Villains, Inc. in battle when suddenly a clash between the villainous Time Thief’s power and a magic battle between New Crusader Spellbinder and the evil Black Mage causes them to be transported across space and time: to Legion World. After a minor altercation with Cobalt Kid, Arachne, Princess Crujectra and Beagle Boy, the LMBP and five the New Crusaders who were transported (Dragonheart, the leader and Spellbinder, Powermax, Brainstorm and Oracle) at last learn who each other are and how similar both groups are. Part of a much larger group of second generation super-heroes in post World War III Earth, the New Crusaders inform the LMB of their villainous counterparts and the two agree to search for them together (the Time Thief, Black Mage, Marionette and Artemis). While the Legion World and UP gossip mill immediately took note, the assembled heroes searched for the villains, only to learn that some of the LMB’s own villains were also abroad on Legion World: namely the Seven Seas, Stanobot and the Banata Commando! They soon learn that the Shadow Queen is pulling the strings, as both Oracle and Cobalt Kid are kidnapped. As the away teams spread out over Legion World reacted, two final heroes were kidnapped—Spellbinder and Princess Crujectra, by none other than the Red Bee. At last, as the Bee tortured them, the kidnapped heroes learned that an alliance between the Red Bee and the Shadow Queen hoped to bring forward another horrible entity to Legion World. Using the four heroes’ abilities to power their machine, they journeyed to the End of Time, once home to the powerless but now restored Time Mouse Trapper, the true mastermind! The Trapper revealed himself to the be the one to bring the New Crusader’s over, after the Shadow Queen, Villains Inc. and the Red Bee had restored some of his power, and now with the captured heroes, would use the machine to draw forth an entity that could restore his full power and far more: the Entropy Spinach! However, huddling together, the New Crusaders watched as the LMBP called the roll for all of its reserves to join the assault, so that LMBers past and present, a literal round-up of almost anyone who could hear the call, joined them for an assault upon the End of Time. The previous crimes of the Time Mouse Trapper, the Red Bee and the Shadow Queen had not been forgotten. As the assembled heroes battled the assembled villains, the chaos caused the Entropy Spinach to come free, allowing it to battle back with the Time Mouse Trapper, so the two’s titanic war of wills caused the End of Time to blink in and out of existence…until, at last the Entropy Spinach proved triumphant! The Entropy Spinach turned to the heroes, thinking on a scale too cosmic for them to comprehend, and sent all the participants home. While some villains remained free and others were now caught, it also imbued Oracle with enough power to send the New Crusaders home, but only after they had a chance to bid their new friends the LMBP farewell, and establish a bond between the two teams that promised long-lasting friendships, visits to each other’s worlds and many more adventures to come! Note – this was an actual Onevision by Crusader/Spellbinder. Note – For her on out, I suggest we name Earth-6 the ‘New Crusaders Earth’, which basically an Earth that Cru has full range over, especially given the intricate detail provided for it in the latest onevision! Cru, if you want to provide me with a summary of the New Crusaders, their Earth, their history and a roster, I’ll give them their own section in the final timeline! Turning Point: Now – For two long years, founding member Lard Lad had been missing from the LMBP, and it was believed that none knew of his whereabouts, only that he was in search of his missing powers though this was shrouded in mystery, though it was known they were stolen by Mordra the Harlot. At last Cobalt Kid called together Eryk Davis Ester, Faraway Lad, Helen, Lardy’s former wife and Pro-D, Lardy’s mascot. He revealed that The Office of Security had been employing Lardy as a freelance covert agent in the past, and Lard Lad was extremely accomplished with undercover ops, working without powers during this time. However, Lard Lad had cut off all contact months earlier, but Cobalt had finally found a lead: in the Dark Oval—one of the most dangerous sectors of the entire known galaxy. Home to the Dominion, the Black Sun and the Hrykosian Crime Cartel (a mixture of criminal masterminds and Viking warriors), the Dark Oval was not only a long-standing enemy of the United Planets, it was shrouded in mystery, also home to two additional mysterious partner entities. Until now, U.P. Intelligence has had very little success in their attempts to infiltrate the Dark Oval to learn more about it. In the Dark Oval, Lard Lad resurfaces, working with a recently promoted lieutenant named Huldnaf, in order to infiltrate the Hrykosian Clan Cartel. Jada Konti, one of Cobalt’s secret spies in the Dark Oval spots Lard Lad after years of searching for him, getting word to the Chief of Security so that he can join them. However, Lard Lad is soon revealed and caught by Daymen Hrykos, leader of the Hrykosian Cartel, who is husband to Lard Lad’s most hated enemy: Mordra the Harlot. Worse, Mordra has given Lard Lad’s lard force powers to Hrykos, who uses them to easily defeat Lard Lad. As they firs torture and beat Lard Lad, their terrible defilement of him continues as Mordra rapes him while under the charmed guise of his deceased first love. Beaten and almost completely beyond saving, Lardy awaits his doom, only for the arrival of Cobalt Kid and Jada Konti to save him. Cobalt heals Lardy’s physical wounds but grieves for his friend knowing that the mental wounds are far too horrible and will have long-lasting effects. Lard Lad immediately charges through the castle looking for vengeance and finds Hrykos, dueling with him with swords. As Cobalt enters the room to counter Hrykos’ use of the lard force, Lard Lad is able to defeat the enemy and sever his head—pulling back his lard force to him and reclaiming his powers. As Cobalt attempts to explain to Lardy the extent of what he’s just done Lard Lad rushes off to find Mordra, to see she awaits him, as she at last explains her obsession with him: the he is believed to be the Destroyer, the antichrist of the Church of the Eternal Void that is believed to first dominate and then destroy the universe. As Lard Lad steps back to reveal he would never commit those crimes against the universe, she reveals then perhaps his daughter, or worse, his newly conceived son in her womb will do so—and at last, he succumbs and murders her, though first using the lard force to pull the lifeforce of his newly conceived son from her womb. Immediately, Cobalt busts in and pulls Lardy away so they can exit the Dark Oval, though not before they regain both Jada Konti and the daughter of Lard Lad and Mordra, whom Lardy is now aware of, and saves. Fleeing and realizing that the political consequences of these events will be severe and cause great pain, Cobalt scolds Lardy for his double-murder, but Lard Lad explains he did was he must and defended his beloved and then punches Cobalt in the face, causing a lingering animosity between the two. Cobalt promises to keep this quiet and allow Lardy to return to the LMB and Legion World to regain some semblance of peace, but he now realizes he’s become complicit in what’s happened. One stop allows Jada to go on her way acting as Cobalt’s spy, while another has Lardy at last visit his ex-wife Helen, where he gives her two gifts: his baby daughter and the lifeforce of his unborn son so she might give birth to him and raise him, so at last he can give her a family in place of the love he never could. Lard Lad at last arrives on Legion World to meet the many new members and friends he’s never had the honor of knowing, and is greeted in kind, though his best friend, Cobalt sits back and wonders if perhaps they reached a critical turning point that will result in terrible things, and if Lard Lad has crossed a line he can never turn back from. Note - this was a onevision written by Lard Lad.Please Note – a more indepth description of the Dark Oval will be covered in the next chapter
