from a few weeks glamazonia.it has added a new feature as a blog about the legion of super-heroes, mostly written by me. i love the legion a lot, i could even dare to say that it's a huge part of why i still love comics at my age, and i'm so excited about the recent de-boot by geoff johns that i pushed for this blog to start as a sort of a personal way to say "thank you".

the blog is all in italian, so i'm not writing here to advertise it
i just wanted to let you all know about a little legion-related contest we started today from there: the mon-el fashion contest!
it's something like what they do on that very nice "project rooftop" site, which i really love. in short, to take part you'll have to e-mail us an original drawing with your own redesign of mon-el's costume.
if anyone of you wanted to participate we at glamazonia would all be honoured!

the winner will receive a couple of recent superman floppies with mon-el in it. i asked at my local post office and it wouldn't cost that much to mail those books abroad, so it wouldn't be a problem to send the possible foreign winner its due prize.

Salvatore is definitely a pretty clear winner there. I like that look a lot.

Having just visited Dean's Giffen 2 round of "Project Runway," I also appreciate the jacket look by Fabio Graziano.

Yes, Salvatore's is a wonderful look.

I'm really glad that he kept & enhansed the tunic idea for Lar.
The off-center front seam is very nice as it zags to an end in the one gold medalian on his chest.

I liked the 'Smallville' Legion look of the jacket, too.
