I take it we're breaking down the eras as follows:

There's overlap between v2 and v3, but everything else is sequential. And the Shady/Mon romance began during the first Mordru story, when they were trapped together in Smallville.

So did that story happen in Adventure or Action, EDE?

Also, wasn't Shady introduced in Action making her Brainy crush Action-era not Adventure-era?

Didn't Shady show an interest in Superboy during the Mordru story in Adventure? Isn't that what got Lu all upset?

EDE, I'd add "Superboy" comics in between Action and V2, just to be a tad more complete.

I usually don't differentiate "Superboy", "SLSH", and "LSH, v2", but it might be useful to distinguish those eras. However, is it worth doing all three? If not, should SLSH get lumped with Superboy or LSH, v2?

And Lu was upset because that hussy Shady was all over Mon, but Superboy didn't even care enough to walk her home.

This was all during the late Adventure era.

I'll have to demur about my sister ...

Dawnstar was not rebooted as Shikari. DnA, who created Shikari, have stressed this in interviews and on line repeatedly. Shikari had profound differences from Dawny in origin, culture, conceptual use, body, wings, unique "power" skills, social attitudes, and other areas. Please change this and separate Shikari for her own entry.

I'd demur about Jhodan ("TalesLSH" 321-323 and several mentions afterwards) being simply a "flirtation." It's clearly implied that Dawnstar spent two of three nights in very close liaison with the Kol priest, in more than just neighboring sleeping bags. The Comics Code wouldn't allow showing that, even in 1986.

After the "Bounty" episode, her relationship with Wildfire didn't involve any "flirtation," I'd contend, since by then they knew each other too well.

Until such time as the one, true Dawnstar returns (and until we find out if Shikari will still exist in the main DCU - either as a Titan, etc.), I will connect Dawny and Shikari in this work. I do recognize there are several differences, but there are subtle connections too. Differences/connections exist between Jeckie and Jeka, too. And, I've read DnA's intent before so I'm familiar that argument. Basically, I can see the point of your argument but I disagree. For the purposes of this thread, I will list them as two different versions of the same character. If this information were collected for the Encyclopedia forum, then yes, the characters should probably be delineated.

And, as I remember it, Wildfire was gone in v4. After Dirk died his life force/energy form became Wildfire II and NRG - correct?

At least you're noting that you're simply ... choosing to say so. Just as Chaim Keller, about the same matter in his Legion.hlp file, is simply ... choosing to say so.

Whether either one fits the evidence of the characters' details and the statements of those who created them is, o'course, quite another matter. You're both simply ... saying so.

If this isn't, in fact, a collaborative reference effort (as with the Legion World Directory), if this is shaped so closely by your own choices, I would see this as being more appropriate as a OneVision thread over in Bits -- so it isn't misleading.

Grey, I'm not going to argue this matter with you. I realize how much you like Dawnstar and you apparently feel strongly about it. I'm posting my take on the characters. You've expressed the other side of the opinion; therefore posters capable of reading more than one post at a time, will see both sides of the argument and can make their own decision. This work IS collaborative, but I reserve the right to collect the data that I find cogent and dress it up with my pretty colors. Just as you may post the way you see it. No one is being misled when they have the ability to make their own judgments without being pressured.
