I'll have to reread the story to be sure (I usually double check all threads before adding to continuity, and haven't checked a single Infinite Crisis one yet), so I'll ask one quick question: Is Stalker [Lad] the same Stalker from the previous tag story. From talking to Tamper in a PM, I believe that's the case actually.
So, Earth-4 counterparts of LMBers that are evil (or at least bad): Glamour Puss (aka Gaylipso) - The Earth-4 Lucien Lad, who, ironically enough, has a penchant for good. Longtime foe of the SMB throughout their history, who first appeared in "Crisis on Earth-4!" and recently became Gaylipso in "Infinite Crisis".
Lard Lord - The Earth-4 LardLad, who was one of the most terrible villains on Earth-4! Like our LardLad, he started out as an ally and member of the SMB, before having a breakdown and going completely bad--and killing the Earth-4 Loser Lad and Cobalt Kid in the process (both are and will remain dead for sure). He first appeared in "Crisis on Earth-4!" as a part of the Trumpeter's united group of villains, although he was betrayed by the Earth-4 Thora, which was actually part of the Trumpeter's plan all along. The Earth-4 Thore, like our Thora, had an affair with Cobalt Kid (daughter was thus Homecoming Queen, the LMBer), but this Thora loved the Earth-4 Cobalt, and became crazed with revenge. Using the Earth-4 Invisible Brainiac, she launched a massive light attack on Lard Lord, killing both the Earth-4 LardLord and Earth-4 Invisible Brainiac.
Thora - Following the above post, I'll mention the Earth-4 Thora. The Earth-1 Thora, of course, is by no means an LMBer or a good guy, but she has not truly shown that's she's evil or even bad, like the Earth-4 Thora, who is a proven killer.
Evil Emperor Penguin - The Earth-4 Rockhopper Lad, who is Emperor of the penguins, unlike ours, who is still a prince (and will most likely one day be an Emperor). First appeared in "Infinite Crisis on Earth-4!"
Stalker Lad - The Earth-4 Tamper Lad, appearing in "Infinite Crisis on Earth-4!". If this is indeed the Stalker from previous continuity, which I believe it is, he first appeared in "Crisis on Earth-4!" as a member of the Trumpeter's squad of villains, who killed fellow villain The Super Bartender of Space. This also implies Tamper Lad is good--which may or may not be the case, since he's shown very antagonistic tendencies towards the LMB thus far.
Not sure if LAM's counts yet, since it hasn't been definite.
Also, this isn't even the Earth with the villainous dopplegangers! So there probably aren't any other evil SMBers, but we'll have to see.

Cobie, in your opinion who are the worst villains, the most datardly villains and the villains that most hurt the LMBP?
Oh come one, if it wasn't me it was going to be the very next person to post...[/b]Will get to this

List Of Celebrities Originally posted by Cobalt Kid:
Roger Moore, Samantha Fox and Dolly the Sheep – All members of LMB lore, introduced in Numf-El’s Onevision-like story in the “Ongoing Tag Thread”, who met Numf and Harbinger as they traveled through Scotland. After this adventure, LMB Adventures Magazine hired them all as part of their staff, which stems from Abin enjoying these characters so much, he added them to his interludes which involved Eddie Tor, Trixie, etc.
Am I missing more? I feel like I am, but I don’t have time to read through the timeline.
Later on in the same thread, when Numf's wandering around the central American jungle he meets up with Wayne Hussey, of '80s goth band The Mission. Also, in the Dragons Onevision, Harbi, Sonnie & Numf are in the same squad as The A-Team, fool! You ain't gettin' me on no plane! oops, sorry.

I always thought Wayne Hussey was a character you made up! And about Sonnie--I didn't realize he's still dead!

Able to travel the width of the galaxy in the time it takes Lardy to assimilate a ham sandwich ... and yet I'm out of the top 15, below someone who pulls things out of people's asses?
Tsk tsk.

Des I've just finished reading through this thread - I've been reading two pages a day - and it's great, you're a total stalwart for doing this. One query - I was a daxamite? I suppose high gravity does explain my height Thank you Cobie More!
Legion Worlds NINE - wait, there's even more ongoing amazing adventures? Yup, and you'll only find them in the Bits o' Legionnaire Business Forum.

Why is "LARDLAD" always capitalized? Could it actually be an acronym of some sort?

Wasn't Richard Simmons supposed to make an appearance to single-handedly wipe out the "manboobies" in the recent LMB "Infinite Crisis"? Those guys definitely needed "downsizing"...

I think you’ll really enjoy this Lardy! Here is the story “Crisis on Earth-4!” Here is a breakdown of the SMB, although it might not be as up to date as the Timeline Summary, which is very up to date. Here is where we began discussing some of the ideas which led to this story. I suggest reading the Summary first, as that explores the story much more in depth and the ideas that Eryk and myself had for how it would end. You’ll notice some really great ideas that tie up long-standing LMB plotlines that have lasted for years, and maybe even a little something about one of the characters that most people might not get that I feel is very fitting. Thank you Cobie
More!B, you’re powers have never really been defined, and this stems from some initial confusion of the LMB authors on what they were (I think mainly Abin and myself). Since you had the Supergirl avatar for the longest time back in the day, we both just assumed you had Supergirl/Andromeda type powers, and were essentially a Daxamite/Kryptonian. As the years have gone on, and you’ve changed avatars (I love your Nightwind one, BTW), your powers have kind of changed too—but they’ve never been clearly defined what they are. Basically, an LMBer could be in multiple stories for years without ever actually using their powers, given how we write them So, in effect, we don’t know what they are! We did used to think they were like that, since most writers around here generally look to the avatar for clues to the powers if we don’t know already. Originally posted by Eryk Davis Ester: Has Cobalt Kid ever been changed into living cobalt? Shockingly, this has never happened! *The LW persona, not the poster, or the cat. If that makes sense. It makes sense . For those who don’t realize what STU means, Fat Cramer is the name of FC’s cat in real life and how she got her username. Fat Cramer, in LMB continuity, I’ve always thought was a cat/feline, and was *thee* premier member of the feline community on Legion World. I’ve always pictured her to look like her avatar, and wrote her that way in “Price of Security”. In recent months, Cru has drawn some great pictures of FC, and other have made subsequent micros and pics based on those designs to show her more human-like, kind of like Tigra or Catspaw. This leads me to believe that she is indeed a cat/feline, but is able to grow into a human-like form like Tigra/Catspaw if she so desires, so she can interact with the humans better.

Basically, I never had internet access before college, only when using my friends computers, which was more centered on chatting with my friends than surfing the web. I found the DC Boards and started to lurk there, and wanted to sign up and create a name for myself. I knew I wanted it to be a Silver Age-esque name, and I always thought “Kid” sounded much cooler than “Lad”, which itself was cooler than “Boy”. I had Chemistry that first semester in college and as I was doing my homework one night, I saw a little blurb about how the element cobalt was used to battle cancer and could rid the cancerous cells from the body. I thought about it for a bit and liked how cobalt was a weapon for a doctor in doing something very heroic—which kind of backed up the notion that there are truly heroes in our world, super or not, like fireman, doctors (well, some ), etc. Since “Cobalt Kid” had a certain ring to it, it kind of fit, and “Cobalt” came to stand for (in my mind) the notion that a super-hero would be ridding the world of the cancerous elements in society. So even before the LMB I thought of myself as a super-hero Originally posted by STU: Why is "LARDLAD" always capitalized? Could it actually be an acronym of some sort? I’m not so sure, and I usually don’t capitalize it myself (hell, I usually just say ‘Lardy’, just like that). STU, your powers are not acronymic in a way now too, correct, kinda like in the sense that Captain Marvel’s our by saying SHAZAM? Not "STU" itself, but saying "STUDOG," "STUCAT," "STUCHIAELEPHANT," etc. triggers the change to the various animal personae... see here .

LARDLAD has really only ever been capitalized when used as my posting I.D. I've never capitalized it within a story or tag thread. I think that once or twice other posters may have written about him using all caps, but only on a couple occasions.
Interestingly, though, I did use to write the name as one word "Lardlad" until fairly recently. Now, I consider the correct way to refer to the character to be as "Lard Lad". But I will stick with tradition as far as the posting I.D. is concerned. I will always post as LARDLAD!
But just for fun.......
Lusting After Reams of Drinks, Ladies And Dinner
Will that work?

...having read the summary, I'm wondering precisely which "little something" you were referring to? ---the significance of the nelly cap? ---Umber's continued obliviousness? ---that bit about Lardy in the epilogue? ---something else? In any case, this was a superb story you guys whipped up! Having browsed the original tag thread you linked, I assume it never ended in tag form? Also, it seems Earth-1 Lardy played a small part in the story. Does it take place before before he lost his powers and left the LMB for over a year? Or after he returns? Hmmm...I might have to tell Earth-4 Lardy's full story some day!
Still "Lardy" to my friends!
