Val can actually be seen behind Garth's left shoulder. There's a dark harline and a yellow collar, plus white boots down below.

Does Imra have her arm going across to Garth?
I can't make out where her right arm and shoulder are.
Is there a face at her neck or is that just ear rings or . . . ?

I think it's Ultra Boy's face behind Dawny. You can see green tights behind her... behind, and his style of boots down lower.

Also, I see a reddish cape and red boots behind Cos - must be Jeckie, but it could be Supergirl.

I think maybe Tinya is to the (our) right of Jo - I think that's her bell-bottomed pant leg and flat footwear.

I agree about the two sets of boots belonging to Jeckie and Jo but I think the face by Dawnstar is at on a different plane for perspective and orientation - foreward facing and closer.
The boot is much smaller and facing sideways, toward the screen like Cham, Lar and Brainy.

I was going to ask if that was a boot and cape, the one you identified as Jeckie or Kara!

I see what you mean about the face behind Dawny not really lining up with what are obviously (to me) Jo's tights and boots. I don't think it's Blok, though. It looks like a light skinned person with neat dark hair. Maybe it's Superboy?

Now, I'm not saying I'm a big fan of his Legion work, but you can't deny Ditko's quirky uniqueness.

oh oh oh.... what about the most beautiful shot of four most powerful guys flying upward with Dawnstar? drawn by Jim Sherman or Josef Rubenstien....hmm the guys are Ultra Boy, Wildfire, Mon-El, and Superboy...or only three? I cannot remember....they were coming out of the Legion HQ...one big splash page. anyone knows I am talking about? I think it's about the beginning of the Earthwar Saga...I believe.

It was Ultra Boy, Wildfire, Mon-El and Dawnstar. I recall being able to find it by doing an image search at google or yahoo, but I just tried and couldn't find it. I'll add it to my list of scans to do.

There's an artist who used to post here who gave some links to his work, which I love.
I thought I'd post a few of them here, if it's alright.

I'm not a fan of the acid-trippy distortion, 'cause, whoah, flashback man, groovy, but I do think it's neat in that last one how Tinya is flying right through Brin.

Yeah, Sketch, I think snareser is a lot of fun, even though his work is a challenge for my eyesight!
