I want to call attention to some other Legion Customs on the Web that I have run into. I am in no way affiliated with these people, but I thought their work might be appreciated by the members here...

Chris Galdieri\'s Legion

Legion Megos

Mike and Nirah\'s Legion

Rich Medley\'s Legion Figures

There was also a Klord Brad that had a huge amount of Legion Action figures. Unfortunately his web address is not working for me anymore. If you're out there still Klord Brad, I just wanted to let you know that your customs are missed.

Enjoy.

Cool! Thanks for the links. Oh, and the Zelda Game I haven't played yet is Majora's Mask. I think I have played Ocarina of Time. :-)

I found some more links to other custom legion figures a few weeks back. I'll post them a little later when I scrounge them up from my notes.

Suffice to say this will serve as a bump so I can find the thread again.

Here are those links:

Chicken Coup Customs
(9” customs, kinda sparse on Legion for now)

Chip \'n Davy
(Adventures in The DCU for a great Dawnstar figure)

CP Lenger\'s
(other DCU for animated style Garth and Rokk)

Dark Mask\'s
(Table of Contents/Legion of Superheroes for old time, 9”-ish customs)

Jeff\'s Customs (Scroll down, 9” Legion figures)

Kryptonite Kustoms
(more 9” Legion figures, done very well too, I might add. I wish he’d done more)

Maxwell\'s Golden Hammer
(go to 9" Gallery for a few more figures, done very well)

Monkey Head\'s Stuff
(My favorite work of these links. Done in the 1/6th scale, approx 12” look for Founders at the bottom of page 2. His other stuff looks great too. I wish he'd do more too.)

Looks like this one is down for now... Brad @ Cool Collecting
(Go to DC link. We're back in the 5” to 6” scale here. Not a lot here, but what is here is done very well. Pre-boot stuff)

Enjoy.

Custom Con 10 started today, and it looks like somebody else has a Legion contribution for this round.

Legion in the 80\'s

Don't know if he's got more coming or not, but I like what he's done so far.

This will serve as a "bump" to let you all know that I've entered more figures into this fall's Custom Con.

There is a new thread in the "Bits" forum since that seems to be a more appropriate forum for this type of thing. That thread along with a preview of what's in the Con is here .

Yep those are mine. If you keep poking around that site you'll find alot more of my Legion and DC figures too.

If you search 'custom action figures' in the Bits forum of Legionworld you should be able to find a thread or two that will directly link to the rest of my stuff at Joe's page.

But don't stop there, because there are a lot of figures in these Custom Cons that deserve your attention as well. There are some fantastically talented customizers out there.

Thanks for the kind words too.

Your work is amazing - just beautiful. I especially liked your step by step tutorial. That's very inventive. Do you get any of your kits at local shops? I also live in the Bay Area and would like to check out the stores.

HI-I haven't found a good source for kits in the Bay Area. I usually find stuff on the internet or eBay. I'll do commissions if someone is interested. Just e-mail me through my site.

To Jim Gallagher-your collection is great. I've always wanted to do a set that looked like Superboy's statuettes. Great.

Well thanks. That's quite a compliment coming from you. How tall are your figures? Are they all the same scale? The silver age Legion girls look smaller...

Like Heaven4, I too have always wanted a set
of Legion Figures like Jim has made...

On the other hand, I never even conceived of anyone creating anything like Heaven4 has done.

I've seen a lot of cool comic art posted here, and I love a lot of it, like Jim's statues ... but usually because I like the characters, and comic books in general.

Heaven4, your work transcends comic art ... it is art, period. I find it to be beautiful independently of my love for the characters.

Truly amazing.

Most of the Cockrum era figures are 1/6 scale, but they all vary somewhat in size. Most of the girls are the same size, but the guys are all slightly different sizes. I wish they were all the same size so i could display them they way you have yours.

The Silver Age girls are all the same size, since the original models that I used to create them were all made by the same manufacturer.

Thanks. My first Legion comic that I bought was the one where Tyroc was sworn in as a member. I love that crazy 70's costume of his, and I only recently learned that Grell based it on Elvis' 70's jumpsuits. Don't know why I never figured that out on my own. I always thought that Tyroc didn't get much of a chance to shine as a legionnaire, and I would love to see him make an appearance in Legion of Three Worlds.
