A whole exhibit for those Legion characters who wear masks. Myg, Ferro Lad, Mano, Echo, Sensor Girl, Persuader, Starfinger, Satan Girl.
Excellent idea! I fully support/second/want/wish for/vote for/love it!

Thanx. Is this for June? Cuz if it is, how does a Father's Day exhibit sound? I would've suggested a Mother's Day exhibit but May's already been decided.

DANCE
For dance - be creative. Show or write about Legion characters getting dressed up in all sorts of genre's - punk, grunge, hip hop, etc. For that matter, they may be going to a formal ball. They might just be going out for some Super DDR .... of Space!

VARIETY OF BODY TYPES
Try and express how the Legion characters deal with looking different than they normally do. What if they all weren't tall and muscular?

Have fun!

At this point, the 2 nominees for June are:

MASKED LEGION

and

LEGION FATHERS

I'm in on both! Plenty of time before June, though, so if anyone has any other nominations or votes, please don't be shy.

Sarc, I appreciate your enthusiasm for the MoLA!

And the fathers we have are Clark, Garth, R.J., Rokk, Mar Londo, Dirk's Dad, I believe one of the Leland McCauleys had a kid, right? Grimbor, Evillo, Mordru, Hunter I, Rond, Universo, Don Allen, XS' Dad, I can't think of anymore.

Oh, I forgot Zor and Jor. How could I forget the ones responsible for two of the most important Legionnaires?

Really? That's when that Final Crisis spin-off starts? Ah, so when does "Dance" start as an exhibit. ;p

(I know it's stupid, I couldn't resist)

Hey,
Sorry the May exhibit is not open yet. I'm at work and don't have much time. When I get home tonight, I'll get it going.

Hang onto those submissions!

And I will be right here holding my topless Mon/Shady fic hostage while you work on that pic. Careful though, my trigger finger's twitchy. Especially with those lead bullets.

;p

Oh God I hope that doersn't banned from here.

Hmmm... no response...

Well, we'll go with these themes for July. If there is little or no interest in the gallery, we'll go on hiatus again.

How about...

A Legion in a post-apocalyptic future?

Legion of Wonderland?

Don't know if I mentioned this one already but, steampunk Legion?

Sarc, I love ALL of those ideas!

So, I'll back out of my above comment and make a request to group....

Here is the list of theme nominations for this July:

Theena
Blue Sentients
Post-Apocalyptic Legion
Legion of Wonderland
Steampunk Legion

Please second 2 of the themes from this list by June 20th.

If we do not receive the necessary interest in the nominations, I feel we should close the museum. No hard feelings, just being honest.

There are no FATHER submissions in the current museum exhibit and no seconds to the nominations for July, so it is time for the Museum of Legion Arts to close for the season.

I'll leave the June exhibit stickied until the end of the month, and I'll leave the discussion thread stickied.

If we get another surge of interest, we'll re-open.
