This was an experiment. I pencilled this. My son, Jayke, inked it. I did a minor amount of touch up, then colored it. Thanks, Jayke!

Here's a Adam Hughes picture I thought looked like Ayla if she had the other kind of light powers, so I colored it.
I tried to rip their soul out.I tried to make them forget Superman. But they won't.

She's got an infectious grin.
And her ring's on upside down! Earth-Man has started a trend!

I usually don't like other art repurposed as Legion art. And then I found this. I can't say I'm proud of it. As a self-identified otaku, I'm not sure which is the more embarrassing thing to do: admit that you watched Sailor Moon (which a surprising number of boys in the 1990s did) or admit that you didn't (it therefore being one of the generally assumed reference points in otaku culture). I didn't, by the way. So I don't normally look for Sailor Moon fan works. I found this one looking for Simoun fanart, which tells you what kind of otaku I am. I don't know what this fan's "Supreme Sailor Moon" is, or in what ways it differs from the regular version. (Okay, it's got a Sailor Earth, which I've heard is the commonest of fan creations.) Except that the character designs look cooler than the regular ones. http://stefanolattanzio.deviantart.com/art/supreme-sailor-uranus-3-162439346 I don't think any Legion fan will look at this and not react, "Light Lass!" It's that the Supreme-verse Sailors have different-colored costumes with a centerstripe, and they have chest emblems. I've realized a long time ago that magical girls are a form of superhero, and a rather old-school one. These costumes just make it more obvious.

Hey! To each his own, I guess. But, since you're not proud of your example, I didn't bother to look. hhhrmmmph
