My commission of Maleficent vs Odin sketch cover by Jason Spyda Adams
Ok this was a true partnership.
I wanted in my mind without discussing with Jason a story of them against each other because Mal is in reality another child of Loki and Odin must defeat her.
Jason went with "Maleficent has this big huge cape/dress. In the image Odin is reaching for lighting to aid in the battle, but she is using her magic and cape to block him from it, leaving him in shadow."
And we have Mal's raven which I assume has defeated Huginn and Muninn
My commission of Plant Lad sketch card by Cal Slayton
We met Plant Lad in Adventure Comics #344 as one of the heroes imprisoned at The Super-Stalag of Space. He is killed after he breaks under the constant harassment of the guards and he changed into the form of a Venusian Octopus Vine. They kill him with their guns.
My commission of Light Lass sketch cover by Jason Spyda Adams
As I discussed with Jason when commissioning this one, Light Lass is bad assed. She can negate one of The Four Fundamental Forces. That's power. I know some prefer her as Lightning Lass instead but Dream Girl amped her power set. Writers just didn't use it correctly. We never found out her limits
These are great! That Brainiac 5 cover is terrific, so different and yet really appealing. Tenzil eating through the cover is agreat idea and comes across really well. And I agree Light Lass was never a "lightweight" hero.

Thank you. They tended to under utilize some characters and used them more like soap opera characters in stories not involving heroics but emotional conflicts or romantic troubles.
