Hint time - it was during a company crossover event, but not Invasion.

Was it related to Millennium?

It was during Millennium! At the time, when his backstory had him being a part of the genuine Green Lantern Corps, it was said that because he was such an idiot, the Guardians assigned him to an empty space sector...with them not knowing that said sector was where the Manhunters had their heavily-cloaked homeworld. G'Nort stumbled across it and happened to be there when the Earth heroes, prompted by the events of Millennium, located and invaded it. (With G'Nort's origin retconned as his ring coming from the Qwardian-sponsored clown Guardians, I'm not sure why he would have been there, or why Hal Jordan would have been familiar with him. I could conjecture that he was actually given the ring by his uncle and went to Oa with it thinking it was genuine, and the Guardians, competent as they've proven to be over the eons, just assumed he belonged there and acted as in the stated backstory.)

that G'nort, always causing problems...
Earth-D was shown in the throes of the Crisis on Infinite Earths. It had its own Justice League analogue. Which hero there debuted in the middle of the Crisis?

When the Golden Age heroes were being re-introduced to audiences during the Silver Age, DC published a few team-ups of JSA members in Showcase. Two of those issues featured Starman and Black Canary - one of those added a bonus Golden Age hero as well. Who was that?

That would be in one of the Dr. Fate/Hourman team-ups. I was asking about the bonus hero in a Starman.Black Canary one.

Oh crap! That's right!
It would be Wildcat, making his SA debut versus Sportsmaster and Huntress, or Mr. and Mrs. Menace!

Okay, on a similar theme:
Which other two JSAers make an appearance in the 60s Spectre series?
