Everyone will have their own picks, but here are mine in no particular order.

1. Royal Tannenbaums. Now, I've heard this movie praised as one of the greatest movies ever, and all I can think is "What the EFFF where you smokin'?" Cause it sucked on so many different ways. I watched it one time, many years back, and thankfully, my mind has blocked that memory for the most part. I remember that I kept waiting for what was supposed to be good, and it never happened.

2. Ghost World. I think, I think... this was the start of the emo craze as far as I personally know. Self absorbed, depressed movie about a self absorbed, depressed girl. I remember laying on the couch feeling as if I was in that state where you are asleep trying to wake up, but still really asleep. You try to move but its like your body weighs a ton and you can't, struggle as you might. I hated myself for having lain there and watched it.

3. Shock Treatment. At least I think thats the name. It's the... get this... sequel to Rocky Horror Picture Show. How two movies can be so diametrically opposed in quality of story, casting, acting.... well, everthing is just beyond me. It had none of the fun, the zest, the pull of Rocky. It had all of the suckitude of a sewage plant.

4. Solid country...country gold...pure gold... whatever the name was, it starred George Straight. It was a hollywood movie about country music. Don't do that. George can sing. He can't act. He just can't. In fact, hollywood should stay out of the south all together. Really. You don't get it, you ain't gonna get it, and its painful to us to watch you not get it.

5. Hotel New Hampshire. I can't say anymore. That bad... brain melting.

1. The Silence of the Lambs

2. Rock Star

3. Fargo

4. Avengers Age of Ultron

5. The Addams Family

(As for Rick's picks, I personally love Ghost World, but variety of opinions makes the world go 'round; I do agree with Rick, regarding Pure Country, that Hollywood doesn't get the American South and never will.)

Oh that's more than cool, Ann. Everyone has different tastes.

I have not seen your 1, 2, or 3 picks. AAU was...okay. It wasn't great. The Addams Family...I never considered Anjelica Houston to be conventionally beautiful, but more along the lines of stunningly striking. But she was really beautiful in that movie. To me, it's a great popcorn flick. I wasn't expecting Bill Wigglestick in the round, but something fun and entertaining. So, I liked it.

Thanks for getting what I was saying about Hollywood and the South. I think they still think we jump the crick on our way to work and that the interwebicals is summin' we'uns jes' don' git.

You're very welcome, Rick. Even though I wasn't born in the South, I've lived there for more than half of my life, so Hollywood can't fool me.

As for the Addams Family, I can see where you're coming from, and I agree that Angelica Houston looked great. In fact, most of the cast seemed to trying their best, with two exceptions:

- Christopher Lloyd as Uncle Fester just did his own usual weirdo-creep shtick; Fester is NEITHER a weirdo NOR a creep, he's supposed to be childlike, roly-poly, and personable, the way Jackie Coogan played him on the TV show.

- Christina Ricci as Wednesday ANNOYED THE LIVING SHIT OUT OF ME! It was very trendy back then for little kids to be nihilistic, emotionless, and rude. I didn't find it funny then, and I don't find it funny now. And Ricci built a whole fucking career out of that obnoxious persona! I found that sickening!

Finally, the movie just can't hold a candle to the original TV show. The former is 35 years old and has dated horribly. The latter is 60 years old and still holds up beautifully.

I liked Ghost World, Adams Family and Silence of the Lambs.

I think I watched Tenanbaums and somewhat agree but 5 worst hmm...

- Wild Wild West - 1999 - I almost walked out and I was watching it for free.
- Mr Deeds - 2002 - I love Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison but I sat in this one for at least 45 minutes before laughing and there wasn't much more after that.
- The Force Awakens - 2015 - I thought I loved Star Wars but I sat through this movie emotionless until the big swerve where I felt angry , haven't watched again/don't plan to.
- The Last Jedi - 2017 - this is mostly good with at least 2 major problems that broke me off Disney SW and SW in general, haven't watched the last one otherwise it might be on this list.
- Batman and Robin - 1997 - I liked Batman but this took the steam out of the love affair for quite awhile.

Totally agreed on Mr. Deeds, which has got to be one of the worst remakes of a classic movie ever.
