(Though he was drawn live by Moy in the epilogues of Legionnaires # 0, I think.) indeed, Jeff Moy drew Kid Q I "live" at the very end of Legionnaires 0, when the first batch of draftees were introduced, and not M'Onel, Jeff had plenty of opportunity to draw him esp. during the Team 20/30 split

nope. Gear didn't become an Active Legionnaire until after Jeff Moy's run ended (though indeed, I don't believe Jeff got to draw Gear at all during his tenure!)

Who was drawing Legionnaires at that point in time? I genuinely don't remember.

Jeff Moy was the main artist for Legionnaires until DNA. Olivier Coipel draw Legionnaires for Damned and Widening Rifts (only 5 issues), then the book ended - transitioning to Legion Lost.
and you got it - it was Thunder! For her tenure, she was mainly featured in LSH. The one time the Legionnaires book featured the whole Legion was the beach party in Legionnaires 77... which Thunder sat out.

Was it something with their teeth? That's what I thought - Gear did appear (albeit barely) before DnA started, was he not officially a member by that point? nope, he didn't officially join until after Legion of the Damned... well into DNA's tenure.

Hmm...ambiguous between these two answers. It was a dot that appears to be on their robes, but it might actually be a medallion they wear over their robes. Hard to say for sure, now that I give it another look.
I'll go with giving this one to Ibby, because it always seemed to me it was part of their robes, though I could be wrong about that.

LSH v4 # 12, Jo was thrown into the deep past by some chrono-greande thrown by Roxxas, and ended up on a Khundia ruled by the Dominion.
