I feel you, EDE. especially because the misinformation is a distraction - and even an obstacle - to getting aid & help to folks.

It's just frustrating to join local social media groups in the hopes.of finding ways to help out or at least connect with people over what's going on, only to have to leave them due to the proportion of crap they contain.

One of my customers who I work very closely with is an organization dedicated to helping citizens in particular crises, and the way they were vilified in the last four/five years is both frustrating and disheartening.

Just lost my dispatch because the 'cane dropped a bunch of stuff at her place in SC. Power was out for a week. She had to drive miles to even charge her phone, and the company drove her nuts during that time.

It's shit storm effect just keeps growing.

It's been tough here in Georgia, USA. I was without electricity for a week, some for longer. Many had no water. My cell phone worked about 20% of the time. Got Internet back this morning after 17 days. (Good to see you, Legion World!) My house and I are fine, but a lot of people are displaced. 100+-year-old trees are down everywhere. The main streets are clear now but many were impassable the first several days. My church did a food and supply distribution to 900 people last Tuesday before we ran out of supplies. We're doing it again tomorrow. We're all amazed more lives weren't lost. It's gonna take a while to get everyone intact again.

But Helene did worse in western North Carolina. And then Milton came through Florida. We're just trying to hold on down here in the South and appreciating all those who've been through this before, wherever you are.

I have a friend with Type 1 and she's explained to me the difference. I know this is reversible so long as I exercise more and try to relieve stress, it's the food I'm worried about. I'm... a very picky eater and worried about preparing more meals for myself because I'm just, I get easily flustered when it comes to making estimates on anything.

Okay so I apologize for making this sound worse than it is, because I doublechecked and the diagnosis says my blood sugar level is 5.7

Anything below that exact number is healthy.

But I admit I'm trying to figure out if I'm dealing with blood sugar spikes or if this is sugar withdrawal due to how much of it I cut out since the diagnosis.

There was a shooting incident this morning before sunrise.

It happened less than 10 blocks from where I live.
