In the infamous LSH 279, where we reveal Reflecto's identity, we open with Lightning Lad, Saturn Girl and Mon-El outside Castle Grimbor - but Monel is trapped in a cage!
Later, after Grimbor is defeated, KK turns off the energy generator that creates all of Grimbor's toy chains and whatnot, thereby freeing Mon-El.

Ah, that's right! I wasn't sure WHEN in the cycle you were talking about. It's M'Onel, as the writers had to keep him busy so as to not come back to the main DCU 20th century timeline.
