None of the above, but I will narrow the scope a bit - the time travel destination was in the 70s/80s timeframe. And Ibby is correct on the type of kiss but not the kisser.

Nope - its no one obscure, absolutely a main character. Also, in the travel back to the past, there were no other main characters except the villain.

More hints - the unexpected trip to the past was to fix something that happened, and the kisser was not an enemy.

That makes it sound like it might be the story from "that folio" All-New Collectors' Edition C-55. Didn't they rescue someone when they went back to fix the timeline?
Hmm but you said there weren't any other main characters apart from the villain, so that suggests a legionnaire? Ayla? No she wanted to stay and rescue her big brother. Who went back with him? Tinya perhaps?

In the Wedding issue, Superboy comes to the future for the wedding to find things are off in the future because something in the 1970s disbanded the UN. So he takes a small group of Legionnaires back to fix things. Tasmia is among this group and when Superboy is desponded because he's not allowed out of the time bubble, Tasmia tries to cheer him up with a peck on the cheek!
