What a great batch of answers! In order: No effluence was involved Used them to phase to the front of a queue?
We could care less about mutant powers, but queue jumping is a deportable offence. I bet they would have appreciated that but no. They were however both cross and supportive when they found out. They read about it when the Marvel UK imprint started doing Xmen reprints? That's the way for it to work! But unfortunately no cross-world publications were involved.

Was she outed by someone? No she was not outed by anyone. No-one at the school was aware of her X-men identity or association. If it helps this was during her time with the first team Excalibur.

Did someone(s) from Excalibur come to get her? No. In fact she thought the rest of the team was dead or lost in another dimension, and a "friend" of the team arranged for her to be placed at the school to give her a home of sorts. I think Lockheed was other wise occupied. Hint: Remember that I said earlier that her powers didn't work while they were on school grounds, so ...
