Is it Brainwave, Jr.?

It most certainly is Brainwave Jr.! First appearing in a time-travel story in the pages of the All-Star Squadron, Henry King Jr. hasn’t had the best track record on making good choices, seeming to switch between good and bad every time he pops up again. But I guess you can’t expect much from the guy who thought it was a good idea to introduce himself to the JSA by projecting the telepathic illusion of his villainous father and breaking through their wall. And then he had the gall to call himself Brainwave Jr. and get mad whenever anyone called him “Junior”. Ah, the folly of youth.

Awesome. Incidentally, I just finished binge-watching the Stargirl TV series, and Brainwave, Jr. is probably one of the most sympathetic characters in it. It's a very nice re-imagining of a second-generation JSA.
