Welcome to the boards Kyle....I am with you on 5YL, I remember reading old Legion comics when I was a kid but 5YL was the Legion that really grabbed me and made me a fan!

I just learned about legion world from the table at SDCC.
I’m Evan, 23, from Michigan. I’m a full-time student in a masters program studying plasma physics.
I started reading comics around 8, but didn’t get into the legion until my mid/late teens. My favorite members include Invisible Kid, Element Lad, Ultra Boy, Bouncing Boy, and the subs.
Outside of comics, I like fantasy and sci-fi novels, movies as a whole (not too keen on horror), video/board/roleplaying games, etc.
I’m looking forward to my first experience with a message board.

Welcome Evan! Always great to hear from other Legion fans.
You'll find a variety of fans on the boards, some who have been here for years and others who are relatively new. Everyone is made to feel very welcome.
Do you have a favourite era or version of the Legion? Again different fans have their favourites while many enjoy multiple.
As a brief intro to the different forum areas:
- Legion Clubhouse/ Legion of Super-Heroes is where most of the threads specifically about the LSH are, whether about current appearances, rereading previous runs, or other random thoughts
- Bits O' Legionnaire Business is where fans write their own fanfic
- Mission Monitor Board is where you can post about yourself
- Dr Gym'll's Cultural Rarities is about any other comics you might read
- The Anywhere Machine is for everything else you are interested in, such as your fantasy/sci-fi novels, and movies and boardgames/videogames/rpgs
- Spaceopoly is where we playa few games like word games and trivia challenges, newcomers always welcome
When a Legion series is being published or the Legion is making appearances, the top forum gets pretty busy. Otherwise Spaceopoly gets the most traffic.

Do you have a favourite era or version of the Legion? I’m still working through the legion’s extensive back catalogue, but I know I enjoy the Levitz era and the reboot. I have yet to read 5YL or threeboot. Of the stories I’ve read, I am particularly fond of final crisis legion of three worlds and the follow-up Superman and the legion of superheroes.
