And finally, we had Atom hitching a ride with Lex Luthor - both to protect hm, and to help figure out how to stop Amazo by messing with its systems

I don’t think she ever saw Comet as a worthy mate. She definitely looked at Vril Dox that way for a while, but I don’t think any of the other members.

That's the one! She thought Starman was a worthy physical specimen, but when she got to know him, it was clear to her that he's just a small-town boy and not her type.
Lord Volt was her husband who died during the Crisis. The scenes you're referring to were not Lord Volt himself, but some sort of mind parasite making her hallucinate his return.
