I'm always fascinated by the first few episodes of the Dukes of Hazzard when it was actually filmed in Georgia before they moved it to Hollywood. While I'm sure it wouldn't have been as successful if they'd continued in that vein, it still fascinates me as an interesting "what if".

James Best is massively underrated as a character actor. He's always a delight to see in whatever he's in. There's an episode of Perry Mason where he plays, against type, a posh character and he's almost completely unrecognizable.

I definitely look at those early episodes of Dukes of Hazzard as happening in a parallel universe.

And much as I love the third season of Transformers, I sometimes wonder what it might have been like if the movie had taken place between seasons one and two.
