Thanks for the kind words guys.
I saw Garbage with this friend a long time back. He stayed a big fan, while I wandered off to listen to other things.
Elsewhere, Roll with it...

The most perfect burger I've ever eaten was at a little independently owned fast-food establishment in the city of Cuenca, Ecuador (a fair distance south of Quito, where I lived.)
Here's the embarrassing part: I can't remember what this humble little eatery was called!

Oh no! I've been perfecting my own smashburger, which is my preferred option these days.

I love those delicious little eateries. My husband was amazed at this little one in Oaxaca, that had the most perfect hot chocolate

Those small places often have the best stuff. When we were in the UK last year, that (except for the one really fancy place we went to) was where we found the best stuff. Especially in the open air markets.

Agreed. When it comes to fish, it's best to find a plaice with sole.

ROTFL
One of the few things I like about the place where I live is the variety of fish and seafood available both locally and from neighboring regions.

Lots of Aquaman comics involved getting whales to stop the bad guys. Although Detroit has a building with a whale mural on it, it wasn't there at the time of Aquaman's JLD. I like to think it was a tribute to the JLD though.

JLD was certainly an odd duck as super-team Eras go. Still discussed and still polarizing after all this time. Chuck Patton sure drew it nicely, though.

DC released an omnibus edition of it. But it's too massive to comfortably read. I was hoping for a digital version, but nothing I've seen.

Yeah I concur, the Omnibi have more minuses than pluses.
(She says, while still planning to buy both of the DC-Marvel Omnibi.)

Sometimes, a songwriter repeats the same word too many times. I loved Hutchence as the lead singer of INXS, but his side projects did nothing for me. Say, Thoth, have you ever seen Frankenstein Unbound, which Hutchence had a role in? After 35 years, I still haven't gotten around to watching it.
