Not Krypto. What do Bugs, Hoppy and the Easter Bunny have in common?

Ibby has it. It was Captain Carrot. I remember that issue well because, CCaHAZC is my favorite series of all time and it was the first time seeing him outside of his series. Legion is a very close second.

hmm let's see...

Pantha once said that someone was "big, strong, handsome and dumb. You were meant to be a superhero!"

Thanks IB!

Shifting companies......when the West Coast Avengers first formed, Hawkeye was hellbent for a while on making one particular Marvel superhero the team's sixth member; who did Hawkeye want to recruit?

It was not the Shroud (although I kinda wish it had been him because he woulda been an interesting character to throw into the mix!), but it was the ever-lovin' blue-eyed Thing!

All yours, IB!

I remember poor Firebird hoping for an invite, but Hawkeye was obsessed with the Thing!

ok let's see...

in Zero Hour, Waverider gathers a select group of heroes, to save them from the collapse of time. Which hero was involved for the first time (i.e., was not there at the big to-do gathered earlier, but only popped up then)?

I always wanted Firebird to join too! And she wanted it so bad *cries*

Tigra/Firebird dynamics would have been so fun! And I bet if she was a regular character in an Avengers book we would have gotten some decent exploration of her Phoenix ties too before AvX went and ruined it for everyone tongue

Anyway, I digress......IB, is your character Damage?

raz has it: it was Damage!

Batgirl (the alternate version of Barbara Gordon), was one of 4 heroes whom Extant "saved".

and yeah, Firebird would have been cool - I love how they took a very Catholic, religious hero, and wove it into her story. plus, she was decently powerful too!

I'm glad later runs would cement Firebird as a one-time official Avenger!

Yeah, Firebird had a bit with Thor in Busiek's Avengers run which honestly was kinda awkwardly written, but I do like that Busiek made some effort to address how the two of them would interact given one is a Norse god and the other one is a devout Catholic. I would be super interested in seeing stuff like that explored more considering how diverse some of the Avengers members are.

Anyway, I am diverging once again but while we are talking about the Avengers still...who was it who actually gave the Avengers their name?

I remember that bit with Firebird basically giving Thor some tough love! great idea to delve into that.

Are we talking about the DCAU animated show or the comic series featuring the DCAU characters? (Not that it makes much difference since I didn't watch/read either.)

At a guess - Hawkman and Green Arrow?
