Thoth has is close enough. It was from an issue of Ambush Bug and has stuck with me since I read it in the eighties. He turned to crime and took the name Villian the Villain so people would learn to spell villain correctly.

Yay! And they said over-reading of Ambush Bug would never amount to anything!

New Q soon!

Which book from a previous Boot, does the latest incarnation of The Outsiders take its premise from?

Haven't been following but let's try JLA when Batman originally quit to form the original Outsiders?

It is not based on a previous version of the JLA

The premise isn't a million miles from at least one version of the Challs I've seen. This group were not originally part of the post crisis DCU.

It is not the Suicide Squad. This group were originally part of another label, but vegans well after Crisis.

I think that was auto carrot trying to fix "begins"

No connection between the answer and vegan vegans.

Planetary? I think that series was referenced in the news story about the release. Definitely a Wildstorm series.

Idle has it. It was Planetary. I peeked at the first issue at the LCS, and they'd lifted from Planetary, while watering it down a lot in the process. Good ol' DC, trying and failing to milk successes for all their worth. Hopefully the book has found it's own voice.

Over to you idle!

Hopefully not too hard, but what type of phone did Lyta Trevor (Fury) have until it was destroyed in a fight with Mr. Bones?

Gah! I was reading Infinity Inc not that long ago.
I was going to say a Disney character. But that won't work due to copyrights.
A Talky Tawny phone?

Not the Easter Bunny, although the Easter Bunny has met the "phone" and in a DC comic too.
