What historical artifact that played a role in an early Legion story was later revealed to contain magical energy?

makes sense, Supergirl found it, and Darkseid later drained it of energy!

Oh wow - I honestly was thinking it was a different artifact. What was the mechanism used to first try and defeat Omega and who delivered it?

Ibby has it! Dawnstar flew an asteroid rigged with a dimensional bomb at Omega. But - spoilers - it didn't work! Damn, every time I think I have a tough one, y'all come back with the answer instantly! over to you Ibby!

so I only remember that one, because Dawnstar was drawn really beautifully there. great showcase of her powers I don't remember the rest of the story all that much!
ok let's see...
Reboot Shvaughn Erin was once hospitalized for a few days... what injury did she get?

IIRC, Bane broke her back just like Batman.

you got the back part right! it was the Composite Durlan who did it. a bit of futurism here, they were like "lucky, only a broken back, she'll be back at work in a few days!"
over to you GL!

Is this the infamous Brainiac 5 party Kono juice poisoning? I believe it turned out to be some small time crook who put the poison in the chalices (the chalice from the palace has the brew that is true). At the end of the following issue they were saved thanks to the Miracle Machine. I think the 5 were Brainiac 5, Superboy, Karate Kid, Princess Projectra and ... Duo Damsel?

You got it stile! The poisoner was indeed a small timer by the name of Alex Korlo, who smeared a kryptonite-based poison inside their cups. This resulted in an extremely long and convoluted Silver Age Legion story with probably the most abrupt ending I've ever seen. Over to you!

And a callout by the Legionnaires themselves that one small-time crook nearly succeeded, where the Legion's mightiest enemies had all failed!
