Thanks for doing this Ibby. It was fun and I wish I could have been in at the start. All of the ideas sound fun but the Tryout Idol sounds especially fun.

Thanks heaps Ibby. This was great fun! I am amazed at the amount of work and effort you put in and look forward to future contests.

That was quite a finale, if you think about it! Not only an all-female group but, arguably, three who were deemed expendable Legionnaires.

Kara was never featured in the Legion to the extent of her super-cousin. She's ultimately sacrificed as the big, emotional death (along with Barry) Allen of COIE.

Lu's third body was killed in a rather emotionless manner. She was later married off into semi-retirement with Chuck because their powers weren't terribly useful. She did have a huge moment in the Conspiracy story, but again at the expense of her second body.

Zoe....ugh. Turned into a, iirc, speechless terrorform and later part of the body count in Lo3W. And she never got the story I feel she was made for.


So in some ways, these ladies were abused by Legion creators and DC, but they all obviously mean something to Legion fandom. They won't be forgotten or thrown away by us!

Lardy, what a lovely tribute - and you're right! all 3 could have, and should have, been treated better - sometimes I wonder if anyone at DC will see this thread, and realize how beloved so many of these "niche" Legionnaires are!

at least they all live on in our memories... and in our fics!

(still hoping we will, one day, in canon, see Zoe force her way out of Mordru and give him what for! both razsolo and I have written that in our fics - I found it very cathartic!)
