Ann Hebistand Fighting Back Joined: Dec 2009 Posts: 6,841	Erstwhile inker who enhanced the work of Alan Davis, Leonard Kirk, and, most famously, Bryan Hitch. He rotated drawing with editing. It was in the latter capacity that he gave Alan Davis that all-important first chance -- the rest, as they say, is comics history. I've also heard he was a nice guy, and that he'd been sick for a long time. May he be in a far better place now. Still "Fickles" to my friends.

Marvellous stuff on Excalibur and Ultimates among many others. The tales of his work in editorial shows that he is also responsible for recruiting/nurturing many others that we think highly of.
