It will be interesting to compare people's votes especially since this round is only 5 less than last round.

Ibby, I see your top 4 didn't change but then the next few get shaken up a bit. Gear climbs 10 positions! What did he give you between the two rounds, hey? Must have been something to annoy you about Cosmic Boy - bottom rung! Then you keep in 5YL Infectious Lass and add back 5YL Matter-Eater Lad that means you lose some more precious Reboot characters. Hard choices for sure, but losing Andromeda (well she is only there for the first and last years I guess) and Thunder (such an interesting late addition) and Ferro (I guess he started well with his new 20th Century and Final Night origin but not so much after that). Just kidding. This selection stuff is really tricky.

Oh and I wonder if Theena will survive this round? Not that likely but she was a very interesting and appealing Threeboot addition - and another unique character.

Oops. I was thinking Theena was at the bottom, but that was actually SW6 Computo, another very interesting unique character - who will be very lucky to survive the next round.

I sometimes worry a bit about being too preferential to the 'boot I grew up with, and then my top 25 includes 8 characters from the Reboot and 1 each from 5YL, SW6 and the Threeboot, so I guess I'm not totally in the bag for 'my team!' So fickle!

(Some are just no contest. Reboot Ferro and Invisible Lyle, for instance, got more recent use and development than the 'classic' versions did, so it's kind of a no-brainer to lean more towards their later versions, than the classic versions that have been gone for so long.)

thanks for your endorsement of Dead Earth Wildfire, stile. I already thought this might be why! TBH, I would vote for DE Wildfire if only he had more screen time, and thus, emotional attachment from me. As it is, I would be sad to see him go, it's just that I'm not attached enough to him to rank him above those on my list!

Same for Superboy's Legion Light Lass, I do like her unique twist on Ayla's powers - but other than that, she had such little screen time so I'm not so attached to her!

I agree about the uniqueness factor, I do think it can be an advantage! (not for all, as we've lost several unique ones!) but it can avoid vote-splitting.

stile, you are correct re cumulative points - they exist only to break ties, and they will also come to play in a mechanic that will become clear later for a couple of rounds. other than that, they are NOT cumulative from round to round - else the leaders will become untouchable, and that wouldn't be a fun game anymore, if the leaders are absolutely safe from danger

nice observing, stile. I'll add another observation - two voters didn't lose any of their top 30, which means these voters have to cut 5 from their list. as for the rest, everyone lost from 2 to 7 of their list.

Gear climbed because I saw that he was fairly low in points last round - just a gamble to keep him safer this round. Cosmic Boy, was simply the one I liked most among the remaining Legionnaires I considered for the list - and as this game shows, 1 point can make a difference I like Drura and Tenzil a lot, and while I am a very big Reboot fan, I had to gamble that other voters would keep other Reboot heroes safe but let's say, I am more willing to lose some than others !

re Set's comment, I worry sometimes too! but I grew up with the Reboot, so in most cases I simply prefer the Reboot version for the attachment!

That was quite a bit quicker this round. I guess with the change in format in place and some idea of scoring in mind, it was easier to go through. As stile said, only 5 of a difference to cut. Cutting Number 26 was tough though.

DE Wildfire kept that Legion flame alive for centuries, and it's nice to see him stand out, showing those Legion traits of selflessness and duty.
I agree with stile on Adult Supes too. Just not Legiony enough, regardless of what DC would like me to believe for copyright reasons.

I see I'm still splitting my points among some with multiples left. Points that would have otherwise gone to other boots.
I quite liked seeing Thunder appear. I think it was an Alan Davis cover that caught my eye. But in the end, it's a Super-family inspired team for me. Sad to not give some points, but a touch like Adult Supes. LW fav Theena would be another one to get points, had they not been used elsewhere.

This round, I'm relying on previous round results keeping some favs onboard, while I give a boost to one or two others. Hopefully, it won't come back to bite me.
