The first question/answer is probably the one most confusing so let's try this:
My character is not a Homo Sapiens from Earth but could be considered a human being from Earth.
Now isn't that so much clearer.

Is my character a native of Earth? I looked up the phrase "native to" to answer this and got the answer "born in" that place. So my character was born on Earth and is therefore native to it. (The use can be different, for example "Native American" usually refers specifically to someone who is descended from the pre-Columbian/pre-European inhabitants of the Americas. By that definition someone born in the USA but not from that aforementioned ethnicity would not be native, and yet we can describe some one born in the USA to be native to that country. I am using that latter "born in" definition.) Also my character's back story has changed. In a previous history they were not "exactly" born on Earth, but now they are.
