Yeah too many people took their ball and went home vs. give it a chance. Although I can understand having gone through the Threeboot and Bendis launches.

Yep, I was one of the people who dismissed it after barely a glance.
But thanks to Ibby and other Legion Worlders for whom the Reboot is the definitive Legion, I learned to appreciate it. It's not perfect, but it has a lot more bright-eyed charm than 5YL or Threeboot.

happy that you tried it and liked it, Annfie!
IMO, it's OK not to like something, but I do wish more people would give things a chance!

not to mention, the "not liking" of something is based on having experienced it! and not just because of some preconceptions.

In my younger days, I was often guilty of basing my opinions on preconceptions.

It's best, I think, to live in the now and leave yesterday behind.

In my opinion, the most important of those three is the present.

Thanks to the Time Institute, yesterday's tomorrows are today!

Up, up and retconned away, as Superman might as well say, these days.

As long as they get to bask in the glow of their predecessor's ideas being mined for film and TV, get to go to cons and have flattering reviews by tame hacks, they seem to be happy enough.

Some people just want attention.
And some people want the good kind...

Exactly! The good kind of attention, such as getting well-deserved compliments for their artwork or writing.

"Fried" is also the title of a very good album from the 1980s. It's an album by Julian Cope, and on the cover he's wearing a giant tortoise shell with nothing underneath!
