yup! twisted Bizarro logic went: if real Legion's origin was saving Brande, then Bizarro Legion's origin should be to kill Brande!

It doesn't seem to be a panel from that issue. Perhaps it's from another comic? Good point - now I'm really curious about this. It seems like an odd thing to do. I can understand them deciding to use a panel from another issue to illustrate the vegetation gift idea, but then it's weird to use that #122 cover. But it's also weird that "Vicki" is colored blonde here, while neither Vicki Vale or Kathy Kane was blonde. If it was a whole new panel, then it's weird that they would use the name "Vicki". So, one way or another, it just feels like something odd is going on here.

In a similar vein, what did original-boot Star Boy's mother express uncertainty about whether Durlans eat them?

Durlan does not live by bread alone, but bread was not Mrs. Kallor's concern.

Cookies is correct! Thom's mother offered some to the Legionnaires who had come to Xanthu to investigate Atmos's disappearance. But like so many in the UP, she was a little weirded out by the Durlan-ness of Chameleon Boy and asked if Durlans even eat cookies. Ever the good sport, Cham assured her that Durlans are just like everyone in that regard. From her expression, I don't think she was put entirely at ease. But he did eat the cookie.

OMG! How about that? I totally forgot about that - so I guess the Threeboot scene was an homage? But it was Dirk's mom offering a cookie to Thom.

Mom's serving sweets to their kids and their friends is a common enough trope that it's probably just a coincidence.

I had been trying to picture what Cham was offered and knew it was something commonly enjoyed by humans. Cookies just seemed right. I remembered it because of the holographic Dungeons and Dragons game that Thom and his Dad had been playing. I had forgotten that it was from the v3 issue (#28) where Thom has to leave the Legion at Xanthu's request. Great trivia question. Love Cham's response to her question about if he eats cookies, "Of course. Doesn't everyone?" with a slim smile on his face, immediately followed by Dawnstar declining one because she prefers her food more natural and unprocessed.
To my knowledge there is only one occasion when it is suggested that Brainy "gets lucky" and it is not with Kara. Who is the possible other participant?

I don't even remember the scene, so you're all one-up on me I remember the Threeboot one very well though, maybe because it's more recent. And I did read the Threeboot monthly at first, unlike the original Preboot which was a marathon read for me anyway! Brainy getting lucky? hmmm cannot quite remember this. Was this when Brainy and Dawnstar were stranded on that relatively underdeveloped world?

Well, it's complicated.
There is a scene towards the end of the Shooter threeboot run where Dreamy is still in that weird post-death state, and she effectively takes over a medium's body for a one night fling with Brainy in a no-tell motel.
Is that what you're referring to?

Is that what you're referring to? I totally forgot about the Threeboot and the Dreamy romance! This is certainly a valid answer. What was the one implied time that the ORIGINAL Brainiac 5 was implied to have got lucky? (Unless someone gets the exact answer quickly I think you will get the next turn GL since your answer fits the bill.)
