stile has it! Humanoid beings evolved from lobsters who worshipped old human movies (and had some sort of 50s-early 60s beach culture thing going on) kidnaped Kamandi and Karate Kid and made them fight in a movie (which they watched at a drive-in theater) for their entertainment. It was the final story of the Karate Kid series, which continued in an issue of Kamandi.

You got it Ibby. A few legionnaires fought the "Worldsmith" in SLSH #236 on Braal. When he was defeated (by being made to think that Rokk had greater world-changing powers than himself thanks largely to Projectra's illusions) he left behind a number of statues resembling those found on Easter Island.
