Not Adventure 1.
Here's a hint - it's definitely a Legion comic book! which is why CMK was so close before!

Chaim has it!
In the intro story of the Threeboot, "Teenage Wonderland" written by Mark Waid, we are given a quick primer of the new universe, namely that its kids vs the adults and the legion (and superheroes) are a "movement". Parents being the parents they are, one unfortunate non-human has all its Legion swag shredded by its parent, including t-shirts, and in what is surely the most meta callback in all reboots, a copy of LSH v4 #0 with its Stuart Immonen cover co-written by, you guessed it, Mark Waid.
Over to you CMK!

Lucky guess on my part, based on the hint given after my prior guess.
Which member of the Legion of Super-Villains declared which fellow member's code name to be stupid and told him or her to change it?

Tyr and Radiation Roy! Tyr wanted him to change it to Radiator, which I am embarassed to say it took me many years to realise was meant to be funny because they both sound like car parts

What did Lightning Lad tell Superboy was the UP's first fully made artificial planet?

It is not Weber's World or Labyrinth! Hint: this quote wasn't taken from the original team's continuity

Yep! I just recently decided to read the Bendis Legion in full and Garth tells Jon in one of the early issues that Planet Gotham is the first artificial world (also man that was kinda masochistic getting through that whole series phew) Take it away, stile!

Your clue about not being the original Legion continuity gave me the hint. Good choice.
Five legionnaires have escaped from the Fatal Five's trap and now hasten to help their comrades to battle the five and ... the Dark Man. But how do they know where to go?

Dawnstar does not appear in this adventure. They consult Blok in prison? Right story, different group of legionnaires. Brin and Ayla, being the only still free legionnaires on planet and having received information that the Dark Man is involved, approach the imprisoned former League of Super-Assasins to see if they will help and Blok is the only one who offers to kelp. With his assistance they locate the spacecraft base of the Dark Man and attack - which does not go well. My question is how do the other six (sorry miscounted before when I said five) legionnaires, who have just escaped from a bubble at the bottom of the ocean, find the Dark Man? ("kelp"? Some ritual from Dryad perhaps? "help" would be more appropriate.)
